MOC: Lego Movie Style Stephanie's Hovercar
Only Sinner replied to ResIpsaLoquitur's topic in Special LEGO Themes
This one works really well as an alternate build. A very good looking MOC for a tricky challenge. -
(MOC) The Lego Movie: Rocket Dozer

This works well as an alternate build. -
This is a very clean looking MOC. Too much horror business.

What a great van! Every town should have at least one of these. Reminds me of the UPS trucks that are made close to here.

I love Brickville! And that Esso service station- I want to see more of that.

I was thinking something similar, like a modular container that could be detached and used to double as an operations post. Maybe you could make different modules that have the same basic configuration. A medical post, ammo dump, logistics station, barracks, or stuff like that. Good luck with this, and keep us informed on your progress.

Best to have one of the top MOCers on staff to help regulate the forum. Here's to BDQ! * Raises can of Bud Light *

Which is Your Favorite Hobbit: Desolation of Smaug Set?
Only Sinner replied to Deathleech's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
I think the minifigs are good in all of these sets. I also think the parts selection is pretty good in most of them, too. The best build with regards to the reference to the scource material is probably Lake Town Chase. I understand the designers probably only had limited information to go off of, like studio set photos and some storyboard sketches. That is probably why the other sets are not quite so movie accurate. Did anybody notice Bejorn at Dol Guldur? With swinging booby-traps and flick missiles? I think not.- 54 replies

The fort, the Indian Camp and the Mine

This is really good. I like the teired nature of this MOC, and all the scerery is clearly visible from most perspectives. This is a nice full sized scene for such a small space. -
[LDD MOC] 71,000 piece, 13-foot Super Star Destroyer
Only Sinner replied to Fox Hound's topic in LEGO Star Wars
This so incredible. If TLG are wise, they would commission you to build this as an exhibition model and tour with it. As far as instructions go, I would have little use for that, but I would gladly pay for a nice long banner or quality poster of this work of art. If I had the cash to do it, I would fund this project today, so surely someone will. Good luck ! -
Thanks for the fine review, and yes, the CMF mechanic looks great with a truck like this.

No, this is potentially very exciting news! You have a pretty good mind for details in set ideas, and if the set list is real, someone if not yourself , will have a great starting point for a Mos Eisley MOC. I can't wait to start seeing some of those.I also had a precognition about a new Star Destroyer, but I rarely discuss such things.

[MOC] Skap, a car transformers (31007 power mech alternate model)
Only Sinner replied to bacem's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
I love the alternate builds, and Creator sets are ideal for that. TLG should have used this idea instead of the one they had. Kids would go nuts for a real transforming robot. I know I like it. Thanks for sharing, now I have to buy this set so I can make something similar if you don't mind. -
This is a good looking base MOC, so far. I really like those fighters, and I see you took some styling cues from Echo Base and Battle of Hoth. That is a wise starting point for this, being an ice world and all. Looking forward to seeing more.

REVIEW - 2014 LEGO City Set 60043 Prisoner Transporter
Only Sinner replied to mifody's topic in LEGO Town
Thanks for this review. Lots of good photos, too. I think they could have made the truck seat wide enough at the doors to fit two police, and the big door on the back looks rediculous. That needs a serious mod. The ATV only needs to have two clips added to hold the hook and the crowbar the criminal uses. Speaking of the criminal, I really like that leather jacket. I may just get the whole set because I want that excellent torso piece! -
What a spectacular MOC, all the amazing details everyone else has mentioned already. I really like what you've done to show a busy assembly line, here. The vehicles are my favorite part, including the bus and car hauler. Is that a 1958 Plymouth Fury I see pulling into the factory over there?

Awsome, retro building makes it fun. Man, those ragged old bricks sure do look sorry, don't they? I think I even spotted some teeth marks.

This is an amazing build, Markus. So much detail and it's quite beefy, too.

I love the tiny hearse and the large house together. Your mods are really fun.

This is a really good review, you should consider joining the RA. I can't wait to get ahold of several of these sets! Thankfully, the sub-par Star Wars wave will allow that to happen.

Thanks for the review. I think the truck looks fantastic. I don't know about thirty dollars fantastic but, hey. The thing in the truck could be a reel for the roto-rooter maybe. Also, I have never seen a classy porto potty with actual plumbing, could it be Japanese?

Yes, thanks for the overview and we are looking forward to seeing that MOC. The Riddler Chase seems to be the best set so far, despite all the initial criticism. I think I would like to get that one first. I llike the Penguin and scuba Bats, too. It's nice to get unique costumes like that.

I also really like both of these ideas, too. The Abomination set would undoubtedly be more expensive, though. I like the idea of two big figs in a single set, that would be a first!I would also like to see that Dr. Doom set be a bit more expensive, too. That way it could come with a more substantial build. Would you do a USM Dr. Doom again, or a realistic one, or maybe a comic version?

Will you be posting any detailed photos of the microfighters? Hopefully, someone will do a review, soon enough.
