    In my experience, the more popular Lego sets are usually gone for a few days after Christmas. They have some sets, but the shelves are definitely picked over.

    Is that a phone piece being used as a phone? Blasphemy! Everyone knows they are only for greebling UCS ships. Great review of this set, it looks really nice, but out of my price range. Dat SNOT on the truck, it does need a tissue.

    It's made by a third party company under license from Lego. I've seen it for sale at TRU in the U.S.

    The Haunted House is my number one want. I also asked for the Castle chess set and a few other things.

    It sounds like the 70100s are Speedorz and the 70200s are the constraction figures. The skunks one makes me think the characters get attacked by skunks in one episode, and this set is based off that.

    I think it would require too much effort on the part of Lego to make 24 Technic models that have few enough pieces to fit in a window and aren't basically the same model two dozen times.

    Wow, this is pretty nice. It kind of reminds me of the commercials for Halo 4.

    It says the small category is 16x16 studs or smaller, and the main category is any size. Does this mean that we can enter a 16x16 or smaller MOC in the main category instead of the small one?

    Seeing these makes the cynic in me wonder if any previous "leaks" (of any sets and minifigs, not just CMFs) were actually made by Lego. It seems to me that when pictures of a new theme are first revealed, the AFOL reaction is almost always of disgust. Fansites everywhere are spammed with comments of how next year will be really cheap, or Lego is going to go back to early 2000s financially. As the release gets closer, comments often change to "I'll get the smaller sets" and "I'll Bricklink the minifigs". A month or so before release, the theme starts getting popular, and coincidentally by the time the sets are on shelves, people have warmed to them enough to open the purse strings. This is probably just me conspiracy theorizing, but it still makes me wonder...

    $30 to $40 seems to be the price Lego likes for exclusives, so if one of these sets is an exclusive, I'd put my money on the mantis.

    I like Furno's "flaming sword of fire". It also says that models combine using instructions found on the brain alien things, so it looks like a code to unlock bonus instructions.

    The new raven set took the best parts of my other favorite Chima sets, and put it in one. This is awesome!

    I think that backpack might actually be the skydiver's parachute. The AFOL community will be really happy with Medusa I think.

    Being worried about having 2 of that set is kind of like complaining that your wallet has so much money in it that it's uncomfortable to sit on. It's a great set, and if you're really worried about a second copy, I'm sure someone on eBay would be glad to take the second set off your hands. If you're worried about the girlfriend, just don't tell her.

    This seems a little empty to me compared to other months. Do we know what the Friends exclusive set will be?

    There are sets that I would love to own multiples of, but I can't afford multiples. MMV is definitely one of those.

    I've never really gotten into Technic, but I've recently been looking into building some Technic MOCs. Hopefully this book will help me along. Also, did you notice that every word in the phrase, "Technic for teh win" has a prime numbered amount of letters?

    Does anyone have any information on the Mosaic sets sold in 2003? I'm talking about the sets like 3443, k34431, k34432, k34433, and k34434. According to the entry for 3443, you could send in a picture and LEGO would turn it into a mosaic. Could you do that for all the sets, or just 3443? Also, did LEGO change the contents of each box for the custom ordered one, or did you have a few hundred pieces left over? Could one order them from the catalogue at the time, or did you have to make a trip to Legoland? Thanks, any help would be appreciated.
