I went to Target today and they had all of the MF sets except for the zombies. No polybags.

That is a really cool vehicle for a polybag, but I'm sure some people will complain about that driver being in so many sets.

B-OM-31C What city doesn't have at least one vacant lot full of junk? This junkyard owner is trying his best to run a business, but those pesky kids keep trespassing. Those kids won't leave him alone... This is what he's selling. This is what a minifigure would see when entering the junkyard. Maybe those dogs should be chained up... The owner and the kids. This is my entry, I hope you have as much fun looking at it as I had building it.

I think that putting BAM parts in PAB cups is pretty much the same as stealing them.

Bionicle was only supposed to last one year. Since it lasted nearly a decade, I don't think it's impossible for Lego to change the length of a theme.

Victor didn't have any plants either. I asked the lady and she said they had some a while ago.

I think most people think the Golden Age is whenever they were a kid. I personally think the golden age is now.

They've kept CM8 completely under wraps until about last week, and that was when they only showed the pirate and the Czech names of all of them. That one Star Wars set (Pre Viszla's fighter?) wasn't revealed until it was almost on shelves. Lego seems to enjoy keeping us in the dark this year, so if they are making another wave of Ninjago, I wouldn't be surprised that no information about it is available.

I want to Victor yesterday and they had six. I bought one. I got about a hundred black right sided wing pieces, but only two left. I was expecting that to happen, so it's not too bad. I also got at least a hundred trans green 1x1 plates, which is great. I found two 1x3 tiles in sand green, which are kind of rare. I think it was definitely worth it for the eight bucks I spent.

I wouldn't be surprised if the set arrives in stores in your country before your set gets through customs.

They just look too large and blocky to be on a plane's wings. I think a couple of these under the wings would have looked much better.

Have you considered a pile of skeletons or skulls?

So yesterday when I was at the Lego store, I saw the Ghost Train, remembered it was my favorite MF set, and decided to buy that instead. It is a pretty nice set. The flick fire missiles on the plane are awful. They look like they were just slapped on. For some reason, it was really hard to find individual pieces in the pile. That was probably because most of them are black or because I was half asleep when I built it.

Victor still has has the purple pieces. They also have 1x2 bricks in trans clear and trans black, as well as 1x2 plates in trans clear. They also had brown 1x4 tiles. No plants though. I 'll ty to post what I got tomorrow.

I don't think I've seen one positive comment about that set. Maybe I'll pick up two.

I keep my Bionicle sets and a few others assembled. For most sets, I build them and then break it down later. The length it stays together depends mainly on the size of the set and whether I bought it just for parts or because it was also a cool build. For example, the PQ staff guardian set was taken apart after about 5 minutes, while MMV stayed together from June until Christmas. For a MOC, I usually keep them together until I need the parts or I get tired of looking at it. I always take pictures first though.

The mad scientist set has really grown on me. I remember that when people asked me what I wanted to be in about second grade I would say a mad scientist. I'm going to the Victor Lego store tomorrow, so I might pick it up there. I'll probably do a review of it when my current reviewer's academy review is done.

Can someone who was at the Victor, NY wall in the past few days tell me if there is anything good in the wall? I'm looking mainly for 1xN bricks in neutral colors and plant parts. Do they still have the purple 2x3s Brickbuildr says they do?

In some languages, aren't multiple monsters described under one word? Couldn't it be possible that the Czech word could just mean monster in general, and it was only translated as vampire? I remember at the beginning of Dracula Van Helsing was talking about how the villagers were talking about a vampire, devil, or werewolf since the same word meant all three. This might be the case for this series and we're getting a different monster than a vampire.

I think almost all of these are figures that could be really good or really bad, but we don't know until we see some pics. I think a lot of opinions will change when pictures are released/leaked.

Are the ghosts the only GITD pieces in this set? It seems very un-MF for those to be the only ones.

For the connection points, can we use bricks other than the 1x2 bricks with one hole if they do the same function? For example, could I use a 1x4 brick with three holes or a 1x2 brick with a plus hole?
