  1. Here is my Phase III Stables build for AoM. I'd like to gain credit for the following UoP certifications: roofing [Architecture], wall techniques [Architecture] (for the log cabin), roof rakes [Architecture], and raising livestock [Agriculture and Zoology]= 4 credits This was my first try using tilted walls (for the foundation of the tower), and I think they worked pretty well. This was also my first time building a log cabin using SNOT 1x1 round bricks. All three buildings have a full interior and all the doors/trapdoor function. And I tried using a dark grey background rather than white in hopes of having the snow show up better. Any feedback on that? Trained Great Wolves are in high demand and fortified stables have become common in Mitgardia. Valdrfell Stables is a fortified stables located in the Clan Lands of Mitgardia. The fortress has a stable inside, and a corral just outside to train the great wolves in. More pictures can be found here: link All C&C welcome
  2. This was built by my 12 year old brother. Kendrick and Basil continue their journey and come upon a small farm in the countryside. They pay the farmers a visit and plan to spend a few days working at the farm in return for food and lodging. More pictures can be seen here: link He would appreciate any C&C
  3. Excellent build, the wall looks great and the whole scene looks very alive with all the figs going about their business Cute cottage too, my only suggestion is to cap the roof with a stack of 1x1 round bricks in either reddish brown or tan
  4. Neat landscape, the dark green works well (fun using those 1x1 bricks, isn't it?), excellent deer design too
  5. Way to kick this off! The tilted plates look fantastic and I like the olive green/dark green/dark brown landscape Excellent story too
  6. Excellent color schemes for Kaliphlin buildings Your window designs look good too. It's always fun seeing numerous people's characters in a single build
  7. Lovely detailing on the great hall, the red roof draws the eye nicely and I like the numerous spires on the roof The cellar entrance and stairs look great too I'm not sure if this or the North Tower is my favorite section, they're both so good
  8. Good vignette, the fig posing is excellent and I like the landscape
  9. @janatale: That looks most impressive @Infernum: Way to kick things off Here's a last peek at my WIP before I post it (hopefully that will be tomorrow or the next day): I have to say, I think this is my favorite build of my own yet
  10. I'm pretty sure that the leaders will figure out a way to balance quantity vs. quality. To be honest that is exactly the reason I haven't been pumping out builds like I did for a bit in Book I. I'm putting a bit more work into each build
  11. Nice start to the tower phases, I like the icicle I agree with LV, that the roof looks a bit flat though
  12. The snow on the top of the build looks good Neat dragon mosaic too, I'm interested to see where the story goes next
  13. Excellent wall, I think the texturing could have been a bit better, something I keep in mind when I'm texturing walls, is to stagger texture bricks, and usually only use 2-3 of them in a row. This picture might help explain what I mean (look at the dark bley tile patterns): I the house, path, and snow inside the wall though. And the rubble filling to the wall is great too
  14. Thanks! We spent probably more time planning the build(s) then actually building them Thank you, it was nice having a teammate to bounce color ideas off of
  15. Thanks, and you still have a chance a small one Thanks! We wanted to make sure to implement a couple off the grid wall sections, for historical accuracy and for the 'cool' factor Thank you! And yes we did a lot of planning for these builds, glad you like it
  16. Simon_S and Soccerkid6's entry: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=92247
  17. [pid][/pid] 246A My teammate is Simon S. (Burrli Burri). Each of us built two modules aproximately 16x16 that contain sections of an Imperial Fort. The modules can be rearranged into many different compositions and the fort has many neat features: prison cage, modular house, working cannons, hidden treasure chests, working doors, and plenty of Imperial soldiers and pirate rogues. Because each 'set' comes with 2 modules, with one set you would be able to rearrange it into 2 different patterns. But if you had both sets, you could rearrange the 4 modules into 24 different patterns, or have two separate forts! Overview of my modules: Overview of Simon's modules: You can check out more pictures here: link All C&C welcome
  18. One thing that stood out to me about this section, is the interior building (s), they look great and add some nice color to the backside of the tower/walls Your windows set in half a stud look fantastic, you must have quite a few curved slopes for those (or do you use panels?). The vines climbing the tower look very natural as does the massive tree
  19. I like the looks of that stone house, we haven't seen that one before, have we? Cool crane too
  20. Excellent build. The boat looks great and I like the tan house's wooden beams and the special window with shutters The window on the front side of the tan house looks a little modern to me though, some sort of wooden frame would help with that I think. Great minifig posing, the dock looks very busy as it should
  21. Excellent landscape, the rock formation leaning over the swamp looks great The details inside the cave are also very good
  22. Excellent gatehouse! The octagonal towers look great as do the doors Nice use of micro-figs and those large octagonal plates as well
  23. From what you posted, I'd say Avalonia may be the best choice for you. Mitgardia has several neat mini-challenges going on now, but every guild will have many neat mini-challenges as time goes on (and I'm guessing both Avalonia and Nocturnus will have some coming very soon). Pretty much pick whichever guild you like best overall, all of them are good choices. Mitgardia rules though
  24. Your welcome. Also, quite a few Mitgardians have earned new titles! Bkrosell, Infernum, and jeroenaa have earned the title: Frost Berserker RonaldusMaxus has earned the title: Shadow Rider RonaldusMaxus has also earned the title: Vendour jeroenaa and Jodocus have earned the title: Watchman MKJosha has earned the title: Gatekeeper Tomsche has earned the title: Manager And Jodocus has earned the titles: Protector and Innkeeper (Titles can be added to your signature, after your character's name, for example: Sir Glorfindel of Mitgardia, Architect Regent of Valholl, Officer of Valholl, Treasurer of the Valholl Mason's guild, Economic Titan, Knight of Valholl, Mason Teacher)
  25. @MKJosha: Looks very Kaliphlin And I spot NiceMarmot's sig
