  1. Much better pictures I like the last one especially
  2. Your best yet I like the size of the tower and the catapults and ammunition on top are a nice touch. I also like the barrels with weapons on the first floor. Nice work with the supports for the top floor as well, they look very good
  3. Perfect idea for the barracks category I hope this gets some others thinking about some new training ideas. You carried out the idea nicely, and I the platform, the stairs chain guard rails especially. Keep em coming Gunman
  4. Thanks, he will join EB eventually, but for know he's too young He only really started building with LEGO when he was maybe 8-9, before that he just found pieces for his older brothers to build with
  5. Well thank you I've been keeping all the best parts out of the WIP pics... Stables Phase 3
  6. Progress progresses: Thanks for all the encouragement so far everyone, hopefully the finished build will be up within a week
  7. I always enjoy seeing your builds, your use of color is excellent and unique The double archway looks fantastic, great use of the rounded fence pieces, and I like the numerous different window designs
  8. This is one of my favorite sections of the whole castle I like the use of the facet bricks at the corners of the towers, and the crenelations look great Also I how you built the walkway above the gate, and the portcullis being able to work is excellent, I know from experience that can be a bit of a pain to integrate.
  9. I like how you textured the ground with numerous 1x1 round plates
  10. This is my favorite build from you yet. The elvish architecture is excellent and the buildings are nicely integrated into the landscape My two favorite parts are: the large tower, great roof and windows there and the bridge to it. The swan is a great touch too
  11. Excellent group of soldiers I like that you use the kingdoms 'chain' torso, I think you're the only one who uses that for Mitgardian soldiers
  12. If two of the three Mitgardian council members (Ecclesiastes, kabel, and myself) comment on your build in a positive fashion. Also the first page of this thread is updated to show who has passed what phase, a pass is shown by this Valdrfell Stables (Stables Phase 3):
  13. Again I really like the dark tan/reddish brown landscape I agree with Garmadon about the platform , it looks rather organic for being man-made, the stairs to it are great though
  14. Looks like he has quite the business going Is this supposed to be a scene inside his shop? If so I'd suggest adding a back wall at least to show it's inside, if not I'd add a little roof and path to the shop
  15. If your phase III build is very good, then that will be fine. Just make sure to take your time and make a good MOC. The lean-to looks good, I think the ground could use some more texturing and a drift of snow up against the wall of the lean-to would look nice
  16. Thanks Gideon! I had fun making those minifigures, I'm glad you like them. And MKJosha was right, there are actually scratches on the lens Cameras aren't cheap either... Thanks Kai, I'm glad you like those trees, I think I'll use them a lot in the future
  17. Magnificent build, Gideon The landscape sets off the tower/walls nicely, and I like the use of those yellow flowers The wall detailing looks very real, and I like how you made the upper windows in the tower by using empty window frames One thing I always admire about your Castles is that they are actually realistically sized to mini-figs, this tower looks appropriately massive and heavy. I'm looking forward to seeing more pics of the rest of the castle
  18. Another excellent story and the little stable is neat Nice use of skis
  19. WIP pic: I'm trying some new stuff with this build
  20. @Garmadon: What you have so far looks great @Duke Blastus: Cool fig, glad to see you around again
  21. Thanks kabel It means a lot to hear such high praise from a long time member of Mitgardia
  22. Clever idea for the AoM phases, adding new stories works nicely Excellent color schemes on all the houses and I really like the gables on the tax building And that's a lot of plates those houses are made from
  23. Thanks Louie Thanks dG, the best is yet to come
  24. Thanks janatale! Thanks, it was inspired by Legonardo's stuff Thanks, I really enjoy building snowy scenes Thank you
  25. Busy building for GoH
