  1. Lovely build, as always. The water/underwater landscape are brilliant and I like how you made the transition to the snowy banks with SNOT bricks The logs also look great and the river boat is fantastic
  2. Excellent landscape, I really like that tree growing by the river Great little cottage and the goat pen and fishing net being repaired are neat details
  3. Thanks, I'm looking forward to seeing some waterfalls from you Thank you
  4. Thanks mrcp6d, I just got a ton of cheese slopes off of PaB, so I wanted to use them, I basically used my Fossgard Falls technique for this waterfall, except that I used mainly cheese slopes rather than 1x1 plate rounds Thanks!
  5. I agree that this is your best build yet I like the window with the horse peeking out and the figs are excellent
  6. Really neat sled design, the pitchforks work nicely for runners I'm rather amused that most non-Mitgardians seem to think we're freezing all the time... You realize we've lived here all our lives and know how to take care of ourselves? I mean look at the way the Mitgardians are dressed compared to the way the Ageven and his companion are
  7. Very good landscape neat story too
  8. Thanks Wedge Thanks dG! You should try another Mitgardian build sometime, I've really enjoyed the ones you've done before. Perhaps Lena and dG can come to visit their children and Elon
  9. Thanks, I like that bridge design a lot Thanks Kai, glad you like the waterfall Thank you Thanks, it's a little unsturdy, but with some slight modifications I'll be able to fix that
  10. Cold East Coast: @kabel: All of the images of mine in the first post aren't showing. If you change the image url's from brickbuilt.tkimagename.JPG to brickbuilt.org/imagename.JPG they should work (so just switch .tk to .org).
  11. Thanks kabel, I'm going to use this for the MCB too Thanks, I've grown quite fond of this rockwork technique Thank you Thanks Torgar, I'm going to use this tree technique again and try some new stuff with it. Thanks Garmadon! The lever bases do look a little odd, I could probably balance 1x1 round plates there instead. Just wouldn't be as sturdy.
  12. Thanks Gunman, I actually discovered that arch technique used for the railing in my Daydelon Town build. The arch for the bridge itself I've used a couple of times before, but I refined it a bit this time. Thanks Matthew
  13. I'd like to receive the following credits for my Darkness in Mitgardia Chapter 4 build: trees [Landscape Design], flowing water [Hydrology], and river scene [Geography]= 3 credits
  14. Oh, don't let me stop you. You keep right on trash-talking and I'll keep right on building The 4th chapter of my and Infernum's collab is up:
  15. I'd like to receive UoP credit for: trees [Landscape Design], flowing water [Hydrology], and river scene [Geography]= 3 credits Fossgard river is famous for its many waterfalls, the most prominent of which is simply called Fossgard Falls. Many bridges span the river, and Infernum and Glorfindel are now crossing on one of the smaller bridges... "What do you think we're up against?" Infernum asked Glorfindel. "No idea, but I imagine we'll find out within several days. The border isn't far now," Glorfindel replied. "And whatever it is, we'll make it wish it had never come into Mitgardia." This was my first time building a waterfall that splits, and I also tried a new tree technique. All C&C welcome
  16. I finished a free build today. It should be posted this afternoon or tomorrow.
  17. Your sideways rocks look good, especially for your first time. The winding path looks great
  18. I like the vines on the ground and the irregular base is also good The tree works pretty well, but plate hinges for the leaves would make the branches look less blocky. Excellent scene overall
  19. I always enjoy your stories I like your trees in this build, I think a couple of small plants around the trees would look good.
  20. Cool interior and you have some neat figs, the dragon coming through the roof looks great
  21. Cool scene, your snow effects look pretty good. I generally don't make my snowbanks curve, as that is hard to do without any gaps (which don't look fitting in a snowbank). There are lots of great Mitgardian snow builds to get inspiration from, here ac couple of mine:
  22. Your landscape looks pretty good I think the tower could use some work though, the second floor looks pretty much like a large box. Here are some pictures of how others have made some neat wooden towers:
  23. That's right Nice touch with the woodpile outside the house
  24. Very cool ship, the oars and figs look great
  25. Thanks robuko! Trying new things is one of the funnest parts of building with LEGO, there are so many possibilities
