    Thanks mrcp6d, good idea for the posts, I wasn't completely satisfied with those cones Thanks! And it takes a lot... I'm guessing that I used maybe 700-1000 bley 1x2 bricks in this build, but I also used 300-400 bley 1x2 grill bricks, 100 or so headlight bricks with 1x2 tiles, and 300-400 bley 1x2 palisade (log) bricks. So about 2000 1x2 bricks in total. My recommendation is build up your collection of 1x2 bricks over time, otherwise it will be pretty costly

    Thanks Thank you, I'm going to use this texturing style quite a bit more Thanks Matthew, I assume you're referring to the tilted walls on the tower when you say 'angles'? They're pretty simple, just normal 1 thick walls tilted by using hinges at the bottom. The only trick is getting the corners to work, which the tall slopes I used work perfectly for, and blending the tilted sections into the normal walls which I did by using cheese slopes on the tilted sections and inverted slopes in the normal wall. I may take a few pictures to show how I did it

    Thank you, I like to show pictures of all sides of my builds (usually anyways), to show that they're complete (not one or two sided).

    Thanks Gunman, the trickiest part about the loghouse was doing the windows (as they're studs up amidst all the SNOT). Thanks Kai, the slope was a bit of a pain to build, but I really like how solid it makes the tower look

    Impressive build, the landscape looks very natural The little archer's huts look fantastic too. I'd like to see you use your tree design with some leaves attached

    I agree Years of practice and taking good advice from experienced builders I'm glad you noticed the rearing Warg, I wish they had moveable rear legs like the horses, but this worked alright

    I like the shape of the shop, and the interior is cool as well. I agree with mrcp6d that the windows don't quite fit the medieval era. There are plenty of brickbuilt window designs that work well, I'd recommend doing some experimenting as well as looking at how others build windows. I'll even give you a few examples myself: It's kind of hard to see the windows here, but they're just telescopes on top of jumper plates with 1x2 plates on top:

    Thanks, I've seen several people use that log technique for an interior scene, but I've never seen a full cabin built that way Thanks kabel The idea behind the build was a fortified manor type castle, so not quite as fortified and a lot smaller.
