That water design is superb Great beach and cliff too, the light green flowers on the normal green leaves give some nice contrast. The boat itself is excellent, I like the rudder One thing I always appreciate about your builds is how you use log bricks in the sides of your rockwork for some nice texture -
That is an epic beast I really like how you used the dark brown for accent, the part going down his back especially I've been meaning to get some Legend beasts for a while, this makes me want them even more

My basic landscape design consists mainly of basic bricks. I use those to rough out the landscape, here's a picture to show what I mean: Then using that as the 'skeleton', I cover it with plates (the 'skin'). For the battle scene above I had some of the plates tilted, to do that I just set them in place (one end was a brick or two higher). The trick is getting the tilted plates to blend into the rest of the build, basically you just mess around with placement, overhangs, and thickness. Another thing to keep in mind is that rockwork is a great way to raise the height of a landscape quickly without using too many parts or pieces. Hope the above helps a bit and if anything was unclear just let me know and I'll try to clarify

This is a magnificent build I really love the colors you used and the whole build is simply packed with detail. Some of my favorite parts: the whole building , the tower and tudor house are fantastic and fit beautifully together; the patches of grass on the rock; the crane and little platform on the side of the house, and the lily pads -
Sweet vignette, Kai. The underwater section is really neat and your tree design looks superb, especially how you have roots clinging to the back of the build Nice microscale ship as well
-
Excellent vignette, Matthew. I like the wall design and colors you used for mottling The layered leaves and little trees look great too

Cool vignette, you have some really neat figs there I agree with MKJ about the landscape, some smaller plates to smooth the color transitions would be good -

This is a marvelous build, Gabe The colors and shape work really well for an elvish building. That tree is pretty spectacular as well The only minor complaint I have is that the hole in the platform the stairs lead to isn't quite large enough, it looks like minifigs would have to bend quite a bit to avoid hitting their heads when they come up the stairs. The new version of the staircase looks sweet, you pulled off all the angles flawlessly- 44 replies

Glad to hear you're building again! GoH has missed you -
I'd been thinking about building a tower using half stud offsets to make it smaller as it gets taller, but hadn't gotten around to actually doing anything until I saw Gideon's sweet lighthouse. That inspired this tower. There is a full interior as always. Glorfindel and Infernum had finally caught up with those responsible for the recent raids on Mitgardian homes and watchtowers. They waded through the swamp surrounding the tower, to try and reach the two Mitgardian prisoners, unnoticed. Meanwhile the two leaders of the raiding party were arguing at the top of the tower. The Hand of Corruption captain wanted to follow their orders and take the Mitgardian soldiers they had captured back to Nocturnus to work as slaves, but the Orc chieftain had other plans for the two. In the heat of the argument, the orc chieftain and one of his archers killed the captain and another Hand of Corruption warrior. By this time, Glorfindel and Infernum had made it to the prisoners. They armed the two with their daggers. Then Glorfindel picked the lock on the door and they charged in. The raiders were unprepared for an attack and were quickly killed. Glorfindel and Infernum restored the Mitgardian flag to its rightful place and discussed how to defend the Nocturnus border against more raiding parties such as this. A few more pictures of the build: More pictures can be seen here: link I hope you guys enjoyed this collaborative storyline. And a big thanks to Infernum for efforts in the collab

Very cool stonework, and I like the wood top to the tower. I do think it could be a little taller and a picture showing the whole build at once would be nice. The trees and landscape are excellent and fit the mood of the scene well -

Good wall section, I like the size and texturing I think the path is a bit too straight, making it curve a bit would make the build more interesting. The bits of rock sticking up look good
