Very cool build, looks well fitting to Kaliphlin The angled tiles over the doorway frame it nicely, and I like that you included the Kali colors in the border. Good work detailing the interior as well, with the men carrying a stature and the troll selling precious metals. One suggestion for future builds is to overhang plates a stud beyond the baseplate for your bases, so that the green outline of the baseplate isn't visible

Category B entry: -
Here's my entry to Category B of the Frozen Beyond contest: The Wild Yxen is typically only found in the northernmost parts of Mitgardia, but the unusual cold of the current winter, has seen many migrating well south of their general habitat. They're known for their bulky, furry build, and while not usually an aggressive animal, their brute strength and sharp tusks can be quite dangerous: C&C welcome, I do have more GoH builds coming within the next month, including one that may be my best build yet

An entry into the Forbidden Fortress category of the Colossal Castle Contest. A collab between John (LittleJohn) and I: John built the landscape, while I built the fortress. The build is based off of the story of Beren and Luthien from the Silmarillion. There's a full interior inside, and the drawbridge is functional. Sauron's werewolf form, and Huan were both inspired by Dunedain and Blake Baer. Luthien and Huan, the Hound of Valinar, rescue Beren from Sauron's fortress of Tol-in-Gaurhoth. Sauron takes the form of a werewolf to battle Huan. "Therefore he (Sauron) took upon himself the form of a werewolf, and made himself the mightiest that had yet walked the world; and he came forth to win the passage of the bridge... But no wizardry nor spell, neither fang nor venom, nor devil's art nor beast-strength, could overthrow Huan of Valinor; and he took his foe by the throat and pinned him down" (Tolkien 175). Gates and drawbridge closed: There's a lot to see, so check out additional pictures here: http://www.brickbuilt.org/?p=1687 C&C welcome

The tall rock arch makes for a really cool layout, and I love the winding path Excellent group of microscale trees as well
-
Sweet fig combo for the warrior on top The rocky base turned out nicely, and I like the curved wall of the shelter

Great work with that icy water design! The dark green/sand green looks really nice with the bits of snow as well The top of the building on the right looks a tad odd to me, probably because of how the upper section looks like a shelf

Excellent build, and very interesting continuation to the story: I wonder where Adira's quest for revenge will take her. The way you have leaves hanging off of grass stalks to cover the boulders, looks really nice

Lots of neat work details here Exetrius has some good advice, spreading your build out a bit more would make it a lot easier to appreciate all that you put into the build. Like those neat plant designs -
Whoa! That's one scary looking monster Beautiful landscape using those pastel colors worked very well

Location: H03, Kaalin Tags: Land Vehicle, Vehicle, Exploration Job: Driver Start Log: Little John joined me on this week's expedition to H03, Kaalin, we both were using MANTIS dune buggies, which covered ground very quickly: See more pictures here: link These buggies were really fun to build, and look pretty realistic, I think

I imagine that weapon's peddlers are very common in Mitgardia, and this is a fine example of one doing business Nice fig combo for the statue -
Excellent interior, I like your buttress in the stone wall, looks like you have some interesting offsets going on for the upper ones, and the non-square table is great too Neat use of that floor design

Osric Farwind Chapter 17 (Conclusion)
soccerkid6 replied to MiloNelsiano's topic in Guilds of Historica
Great conclusion to your ongoing saga. I really like your approach to having several rooms, but not having the dividing walls be full height The half stud offset, and use of crates in the woodwork make for a pretty building -
The 1x3 arches over gold cones look really cool, as does the round shape of the shrine Excellent bit of rockwork too. It's great to see another of your Aslanic Temples

Either way it's true for Mitgardia. -
Very efficient use of pieces here! I like how you used white for the castle instead of the standard grey, and the bridge leading to the fortress is a nice touch
