[Frozen Beyond, Cat A] Water does not stop them!
soccerkid6 replied to Captain Braunsfeld's topic in Guilds of Historica
The castle is quite unique, in a good way. The colorscheme looks quite regal, and I like the architecture Neat little gazebo like structure in the corner, and the contrasting weather portrayed in the landscape is quite eyecatching as well- 24 replies

Excellent shops, both facades are well detailed The interiors are also very nice, with the variety of wares, and different merchants and shoppers
-
Gorgeous build! I'm particularly impressed with the wooden fortress, all that brown somehow doesn't blend together Great landscape as usual, and humorous idea too

Thanks Graham! Thank you! It was a very fun build Thank you Pirates builds are always so enjoyable! Thanks Andrew Thanks Captain! Thank you

Built for a LUG display. These pirates have made this island their personal hideout: equipped with a cannon, hidden bay, and cabin with plank. See more pictures here: http://www.brickbuilt.org/?p=2176 Thanks for looking

Easy to see the Cesbrick influence here! The wacky house layout, and window designs look very pretty Good work with the rock spire, and landscape too

[The Frozen Beyond: Cat B] Ice Dragon
soccerkid6 replied to BrickCurve's topic in Guilds of Historica
Cool wing design and good use of color to make it look icy The body looks a bit stiff, having that jointed, and having the legs have 'knees' would probably make it look more natural. Excellent Mitgardian landscape for the base- 16 replies

Outstanding gatehouse Love the wooden windows, and bits of vines peeking through the walls. Incredible landscape and battering ram too, the spiky look is quite intimidating

The wall and gate are nice addition to Drondil. I like the roof of the watchtower and the shield over the gate

[Frozen Beyond, Cat A] Assault on Veggrfell

Great snowy build, the stone wall looks quite sturdy and the tower is a nice addition I think having reddish brown beams at the corners of the house section would make it look even better. The stone gargoyle fits right in and all the figs look like dangerous warriors- 16 replies

Thanks, I never acquired and Space Police 3 sets, but did always think they were cool Thank you, Graham. Thanks! This was one of my funnest builds in a while, small enough to go quickly, but big enough to work plenty of detail in Thanks LV, I picked up that trick from some of Brother Steven's builds and have found it useful several times. Thanks dG! Thank you, glad you noticed the 'vehicle' matchup Thanks! Thanks Gideon! I used a fabric background, and the lighting was just natural light, on an overcast day. I was super pleased with these pictures, hardly even had to do any editing. Thanks LJ! Thanks Jacob, I've found that wagon/carriage design to be useful a couple of times Thanks Kai, and yeah the sign was kind of tricky to do medieval style. Thank you, Blufiji Thanks Thanks! And I hope so, as I had way fewer limitations than the actual set designers Thank you, Garmadon

Beautiful build packed with lots of interesting details to appreciate The non-standard layout of the fortress is really attractive, as is the double waterfall layout

Pretty scene overall, but it's the numerous details and fig activity that really bring it to life Great border design as well, clean, but nicely detailed with the flags and shields

HSS Laborers: The Woodcutter in Sionnach
soccerkid6 replied to de Gothia's topic in Guilds of Historica
Another gorgeous build that showcases your incredible talent to build a captivating scene using mainly 'basic' techniques Such a lovely countryside landscape, with the various plants, and pond And the house is excellent too -
Really neat incorporation of the jail into the rock outcropping there And the layout of the jail, with the stairs curving up to it is outstanding too Keep the great builds coming

You're improving quickly as a builder. Both buildings feature some attractive details and an interesting layout: I the warehouse building on the left with it's steep roof, second floor door and crane, plus the recessed wood paneling on the first floor; the corner building looks cool with it's wrap around roof and wooden beams, though I think the roof would look even better with some black or dark brown tiles scattered on it, to break up all those studs. The wooden edging to the pier is a nice touch as well
