  1. Quite an impressive stature for sure! Love that helmet especially But equally impressive is your sweet pedestal
  2. Sweet floor technique, and I like those small d. bley pillars And you did well using the ABS seed part as chair arms. Interesting twist to the story, didn't see that coming
  3. Very cool layout with the tower atop a rocky outcropping, and path leading to it The wall texture and color looks very Kaliphlin, and makes it easy to see the Algus' influence. Neat that you showed the fort in several different stages too, I've really enjoyed your Frozen Beyond entries
  4. Fairly simple keep, but quite a sturdy looking defense nonetheless! I like the addition of the wooden barricades outside
  5. Thanks Tomsche Thank you! Glad you like it Thanks Mike! I'm glad you've enjoyed my recent builds Thank you, that's a very high compliment Thanks! Thanks Blufiji Thanks Puvel Thanks Jacob! Thankyou! I've really enjoyed the various Norse builds I've done, and keep coming up with more ideas for them Thanks Kai! I really like that color combination for frozen water Thanks Captain Dee! I always appreciate your comments, and it's nice to hear you noticed the girl enjoying the warm fire, as that was one of my favorite little details. The cardinals are something I like to include now and again in snowy builds, in which I was inspired by a superb Castle builder, Eklund. Thanks Gideon The icy water is indeed SNOT, both for the trans clear bricks, and medium azure underneath (just slightly brighter shade than standard medium blue), I only have 1x2 bricks in that shade of blue, but it works perfectly in combination with the trans clear, because I just build a standard 1x2 brick wall, and use the clear bricks standing up for 1 stud sections. The palisade logs are attached to these plate modified pairs: and then I varied the height and stepped them forward or back a stud to make a nice irregular shape. Hope that makes sense. Thank you Thanks! Hopefully the above explanation clears up how I built the palisade Thank you, this is my favorite snowscape so far Thanks dG! Yeah, I really liked that perspective, even set it as my flickr cover photo Thanks LV! Thanks! That was one of the most difficult parts Thanks Garmadon, I was rather fond of the bush picture too, hence my inclusion of it here. Good to hear you noticed the grate in the cooking fireplace as well Thanks! I certainly do a lot of it Thanks! The winding path was something I knew I wanted to be in the build right from the beginning Thanks Adair! And thanks for suggestion a angled palisade on one of my previous builds, I think that's what got me to do this one Thanks Simon! I put more work into my CCC entries this year, than previous ones, glad it's showing Thanks! Thank you Thank you, nice to know you enjoy my interiors
  6. Impressive build, both in terms of scale, and techniques. Love that floor design, and forge area The cable car is a great touch too
  7. Excellent series of vignettes with some superb 'magic' effects The room with black walls has some great parts usage too
  8. Wonderful manor build! As Simon said, the hedge around the outside is a nice touch I also like the red brick chimney, hinging feature, and your new bed design, the curved slopes make it look even better
  9. Nice use of various trans colors here! It'd be nice to see the beast from a few different angles, to get a better look at him
  10. Superb showing of the contrast between the Algus snow, and Lulu's melting it into much needed water
  11. Quite an impressive layout for sure! I like how you included both a well detailed castle, and a large town layout The 2 towers in the back, with red roofs, and wooden battlements look really cool Nice work setting several buildings at angles to the landscape as well
  12. That's a pretty fearsome looking dragon, and I like how you 'camoflauged' him The landscape that goes with him is beautiful, great balance of texture and color And the graveyard scene is excellent too
  13. Wonderful interior! One of the details that most stood out to me, was how you used SNOT plates to show a hole in the floor The cellar with all the arched recesses looks very realistic as well
  14. Cool little gazebo design, it makes good use of various curved elements Fun to see Steen Larson at the party
  15. Cool fortress design with the dual towers connected by a wall The simple landscape looks nice too
  16. Whoa! That thing is huge Excellent micro ship too
  17. Lots of action going on here! Really cool interior scene, with plenty of detail to appreciate: the gargoyle, tentacles bursting through the floor and wall, and the clever stair design using half arches are my favorites
  18. Very pretty build overall, but one detail that especially stood out to me were the snowy footprints outstanding wall and landscape too
  19. Snowy Castle dioramas have long been my favorite subject matter, so this was an extraordinarily fun build. This is my largest irregular base build to date, and features a full interior throughout the whole keep. The rockwork was made using my technic brick design, which you can see a tutorial on, here: Flickr It's my personal favorite of all my builds so far, so I hope you all like it The citizens of Nordheim are quite proud of their large keep, and can often be found feasting inside it's protective walls on cold wintry days. See all the details here: link
  20. The reddish brown border looks great here Excellent water and little landscape too, and I like the small storage hut
  21. Very impressive building. The bell tower, entrance, and interior architecture (columns and wall decorations) are my favorite parts Though the pews and other furniture look great too
  22. Some more snow/ice may have looked nice, but you have a good snow patch look as is. Cool irregular base and monster
  23. Sweet landscape build! The switchback trail looks great, especially with how you sloped the plates The trees and fences are nice additions as well
