  1. Excellent tower and wall combo! The things I like most, are how you stepped the wall with the terrain, the four sided roof, the wooden siding up top for the tower, and the tunnel bracing Keep the builds coming, you're still improving quickly
  2. Thanks! Thanks Sir Gillian, I'm glad you noticed the floor, as the pillars cover it up a bit Thanks dG Thanks kabel, glad you like it! Thanks LJ Thanks Ska! To hear I've inspired others is always the highest praise Thanks Puvel
  3. A Mitgardian widow mourns the death of her husband who fell in battle against the Algus: See more pictures here: link Thanks for looking
  4. @dr_spock: Yeah, the same thing happened to some of my RB 1x4 tiles, but it's never happened to me, even in the same circumstances, with different color 1x4 tiles
  5. I wonder the same thing, as I've never had pieces break like this in other colors, or even in this particular color, in previous years. Pretty frustrating for sure, fortunately it doesn't seem to be a common problem.
  6. I've recently had problems with various Reddish Brown plates snapping when I try to remove them from builds, and even more so with Reddish Brown 1x4 tiles. Here's a picture showing some of them: The 1x4 tiles almost always break when there are other pieces around the tile, and you lift them off from the end, rather than side (or sometimes from the side as well, since after a few broke similarly, I've been careful to avoid that). The other plates have broken during different circumstances, both when being removed by hand, or when using a brick separator. Anyone else having issues similar to these?
  7. Thanks Graham! Always good to hear your thoughts Thanks Blufiji Thanks Kai! And you should, it's pretty simple really, way easier than hinging walls Many thanks for your comment, I've enjoyed hearing what you think of my builds over the years, and would love to see your castle. As you've said, sometimes scaling down is useful to let you get something finished Thank you! Thanks frumpy Thank you! Thanks Puvel, glad you like the porch, as that was one of my favorite sections Thanks Gunman! I always have fun trying different window designs for different buildings, glad you like that one Thanks Simon, just a few more entries to come now Thank you Thanks Thank you! Thanks Andrew Thanks mccoyed, I've played minecraft a little bit, and thought about recreating builds there Thank you! I hope you do build a castle/manor for yourself
  8. Great cheese roof there, and I like the combination of light and dark bley for the walls It's good to see your story continuing as well
  9. Merry Christmas everyone! Hope you all have fun with family and friends over the holidays
  10. Such a fantastically wacky build Looks like a mobile fortress! Sweet texturing and shaping, and I like your choice of swampy water
  11. Your landscapes keep getting better Fun idea with the ice glider, and nice use for those barrels
  12. Wouldn't want to fight that big guy! Very cool character design, with the long torso, giant claws, and that eye design
  13. Great use of those trans LURPs! The prefab pine trees fit in well too
  14. Clever fence design! I like that combination of parts for the poles, and the road texture is excellent as well
  15. Congratulations Ecc That's a pretty good excuse for being busy
  16. Thank you! Thanks LV! The two tone workwork was inspired by one of ZC's Mitgardian builds, though I'm not sure if he's posted it here yet Thanks Titus, glad you like the tree! Thanks Alfadas Thanks Thanks Gideon, I didn't have too much time for this build, so I focused on a good layout, and some nice details, rather than a complex design Thanks Garmadon! Thanks Blufiji, I'm really liking this pull out room design
  17. It's great to see a Wolfpack tower, especially such a pretty one :wub:The rocky cliff looks great, and I like the use of both bleys for the tower. And you have some excellent detailing around the doorway
  18. My entry for Category A of the Frozen Beyond contest. There's a full interior in the manor, via pull out rooms: dining hall, armory, storage room, barracks and bedroom. The doors and trapdoor are functional. Sir Glorfindel and a group of valiant Mitgardian warriors have been serving as a task force to help defeat the Algus from destroying more Mitgardian lands and homes. Lord Thandril had let them use his Manor as one of their bases, but now even that is under attack from the frozen invaders: See more pictures here: link Thanks for looking, I still have another build or two to come this month, including a biggy
  19. Lovely landscape, your SNOT experiments turned out wonderfully The simple bridge fits in perfectly too
  20. Brings back old memories seeing these werewolves again Very impressive landscape, both in size and design. I like how you included lots of variety with the plants, rockwork, and water features
  21. Fun interior build, I like how you put carpets on the floor, and the micro castle is a great touch too And it looks like those dwarves have the catapult just about ready for action
  22. Thanks Captain! Thank you, they were one of the hardest parts to build Thanks Kai, and that's their hope Thanks LV! Thank you, glad you like it, as I tried to add some good detailing, but not overdo it Thanks!
  23. Pretty building with the dual balconies, and gold and lavendar accents The flower boxes and market stall look good as well
  24. Looks like a well equipped Alchemist's shop Good variety of interior details, and the roof is a cool design
