    I'm warming up to the new torso. Its got a nice shape and I feel the extra detail helps disperse the more detailed, Technic areas. Though from a MoCing standpoint, it does have its limitations...

    That whole torso... The extra detail on the torso shell and the 1.0 Core on the 2.0 Chest armor... I'm in love. Thanks for this. Maybe one of these days I'll get a knockoff just for the novelty. Also, "tutelary." That made me chuckle. Do people even use words like that?

    Who said the beasts had to attach just to the back? I think it'd be pretty sweet if the Beasts could break apart and armor up different parts of Umarak (a concept I was hoping would be the case with the 2016 Toa, but that's beside the point). Or, there's three beasts, right? One could be on his back and the other two on his legs or arms. Maybe each could split to more symmetrically give him armor? There're options.

    Kinda sad it's not a propeller because then I can't blow on it and make it spin... You don't know how much joy I get from doing that.

    I approve of the winners. Much better than anything I could have made (didn't enter the contest). Oddly enough, I gotta say the third place winner is my favorite. Love the color scheme, and the giant eyes and toothy mouth is downright terrifying. ... Huh. Just realized how appropriate a time it was for this contest. Halloween masks, anyone?

    Don't know how you're viewing the images, but just clicking them on Tumblr brings up a little image viewer slideshow thing. However, if you open the image in a new tab, you'll be able to view it full-size. Hopefully the image is large enough for you to see in detail. Btw, I love those gigantic sword/shields the lime and purple dude has. Oh man, oversized weapons are the best.

    Upon closer inspection of the concept art and prototypes, there's a lot of neat stuff there. Really sad the Voodoo Brothers didn't make it into official sets. They look pretty cute. And Skull Crusher's hammers apparently would have attached together to make the combiner's massive face-mallet. There's what appears to be a new add-on or something that features a ball joint. That seems to be a pretty interesting and useful piece. Of course, there's also the Protector prototypes and all those masks. Some really strange stuff there. I know there's really no point in over-analyzing concept art and prototypes since pretty much none of this stuff will see release, but it is cool to see what could have been. Also, "Kulta Kal" is the name of the combiner apparently.

    My god, that's insane! Easily the most impressive MoC I've ever seen. Me saying "fantastic job" wouldn't do this thing justice. Words cannot describe. It truly is the majesty of Erebor captured in Lego.

    Unless they're printed on the actual sets (which I honestly don't see happening), no, the creatures do not apparently have eyeholes. Doesn't bug me, personally, but I can see how it could be an issue for others. Speaking of the Creature masks, I really hope the they clip onto the Toa's masks. The whole front end of the Creature mask is an empty cavity, so I just hope there's a peg or a clip to hook the two masks together. Not to mention, Ikir at least has a double jointed neck which would facilitate neck movement on the Toa. It would be a pain if you had to move the two heads separately when posing...

    So, yeah. I'm super stoked for the creatures. Gear functions on small sets? Count me in. Heck, after looking at the picture for a while, Tahu and Umarak are looking really good and makes me excited to see official images of the rest of the figures. Really curious to see how the torso is constructed, especially the gear function and waist assembly.

    Those Traps are pretty big now that I look at them. Lookin' good, overall. Not much to say that hasn't already been said.

    Meh. Can't say I'm very impressed. Though they seem to have creative builds and functions. I can't tell what's going on with Finn's torso construction.

    Kylo Ren, as expected. Phasma, eh? Hope she's unique enough from the Stormtrooper. Though I'll probably get 'em both, anyway.

    Yeah, definitely not the Season finale just yet. Part 1 of... Something. According to Wikipedia, Season 2 is somewhere around 20-22 episodes, and Season 1 had 20 episodes, so... At least two more episodes after this next one. I'm really curious about the character symbols (Dipper=Pine Tree, etc.) and how that's going to factor in. So far, aside from that one comment by Bill in Dreamscaperers, it hasn't been brought up as far as I remember. And considering the sheer amount of focus on continuity in this show and how much it's been built up, we should be seeing it brought up fairly soon.

    When the sets are released and we have a good, clear, in-hand view of the Creature head, there needs to be a poll asking which Creature does the head look best on. Considering the head doesn't appear to look like any specific animal, I'd really like to see what people's opinions are.

    Sign me up for the Weirdmageddon hype. After the last episode... Yeesh. Things are getting pretty intense. Sometimes I have to remind myself that this is a kids' show. Gravity Falls will be missed. Once it's over, I'll have to re-watch the whole series.

    Did I not comment on this? Seems like I comment on all of your Nixel Mechs. Anywho, once again, awesome design. The arms are probably my favorite bit. They look like teeth or jaws, but at the same time could be like wings. And the backward legs is an interesting design choice, but fitting for a creepy mech. Also like the spider legs as a roll cage. Very cool. Seeing these mechs makes me want an Exo Force 2.0 with builds at this scale. That would be sweet.

    On the "Tahu has too much gold" discussion, I really don't mind it. Especially since Onua and Kopaka have it in much smaller amounts. Gold seems to be becoming one of Tahu's primary colors for G2. I think it looks pretty cool. However, there's one thing that I just can't shake. And for the fear of ruining 2016 Tahu for everyone, I'll put it in spoiler tags:

    Very strange seeing Mata Nui on there... The rest of the poster (and the sets!) look fantastic, though. Sets are much better than the prelims. So glad to see Onua uses a black torso. And now that I can see them more clearly, the new pieces don't look half bad, either. Seems Gali may still be using her regular blue color, but Lewa's green is definitely darker. Pohatu looks a little darker, but it's hard to tell...

    lol. I can't make out squat. I like the Mask of Control. Though the cheeks are kinda weird looking. Chipmunkuta? Regardless, I love how they just put up a poster in the background and go about there business. "Nope. Totally not a 2016 Poster behind me. Pay attention to the contest rules, kids!"

    Oh my. I love them. The Jail guy (Busto?) is pretty cool. Seems he can hold a Nixel in there. But Dentistry? Where did that come from? Those are terrifying, lol. But hey, that new tooth piece is preeeetty cool! Also love the treasure chest crab. He's cute.
