  1. Most people suspect Dinos to be greens and browns for camoflauge(sp.) reasons. It would make sense especially for the predators. But anyway, I wonder how long this line will last. Dino Attack lasted only one wave (I think), but I doubt the same fate for this line. It has some great potential and there are a lot of Dinosaurs to use. An Ankylosaurus would especially be great. 2. There's going to be a packaging overhaul that pretty much gets rid of the canisters. On the new packaging, you can see what appears to be something that looks like it would be a zipper. After some thought, I think I like the direction the packaging is going. Can't wait to see it in person once the sets are released. EDIT: I just noticed: Breeze has a 1.0 foot on her back. Finally some back armor! Hopefully the same applies for the other Heroes. Kalhiki
  3. Hm. I'm indifferent. I do like the more accurate dinos (instead of mutant ones), but overall, I'm not sure what to think. It may be another Power Miners deal for me where I hated the prelims, but loved the sets. The only sets here that really attract me are the Raptor one and the Triceratops one. The raptor just looks so cute and the Humvee looks awesome. And Triceratops is my favorite Dinosaur, and I like how the vehicle looks. I'll have to see more of the sets before I make final judgements. Kalhiki
  4. ... Meh. I liked the original Skeleton sets better. I probably won't be getting any of these. The only ones I'm considering are that Snake ATV Truck thing (the one with Zane's tiny snowmobile) and/or Cole's Batmobile looking thing (set 9444). But otherwise, I really don't like the direction this is going in. I can't believe they even stuck with the Lloyd Garmadon idea. Plus, I don't really like the Ninja vehicles as it detracts from the fact that these guys are supposed to be Ninjas. Dragons made much more sense. I don't know, I'll wait and see how I like them later. Kalhiki
  5. I hope this story isn't "Quaza-based" where the villains are wanting the Quaza or have some other relation to it. Von Nebula wanted the Quaza to make his Black Hole's power level to be over 9000 or somesuch, and Doc mined it and wanted to make an army (not to mention being obsessed with it). Fire Lord? He was power hungry. Give him some time, and he would have probably targeted Quaza. Also, I've been thinking about the packaging. I like the idea that it's collapsible and resealable, but I'm wondering about the strength. Mainly what type of material it's going to be made of. Also, I'm woundering how easy or hard it'll be to get inside. Surely they can't just put a zipper on it. I'm thinking they'll most likely have the top needing to be ripped off to reveal the zipper. 6. Personally, I hope the villains aren't fusions. Fresh new characters is always nice to have. Plus, I don't want BP to be a "once good now evil" type of character. This has been used in all three waves of HF, and it's getting old. By the way, a little off topic, but has anyone else noticed this strange similarity? Kalhiki
  7. Eh, sorry. Still not seeing it. Maybe it's just the angle that's giving it the illusion that it's the hand. More interestingly, though, if you look at Rocka's individual picture, it appears the Thornax Launcher piece is a trans-lime green (like his shield). If this is true, that would be overly awesome. Kalhiki
  8. From the "Breakout" picture? How can you tell it's a Glat2011 hand? All I can see is a shadow. Kalhiki
  9. @Aanchir: Yeah, your right. they look more like searchlights. I guess the firey color was throwing me off. (But it would be cool if the Hero Factory got bombed) Anywho, is anyone else getting an urge to want to build legs for Jawblade? I don't know, a Shark mech-suit just appeals to me. Speaking of Jawblade, I noticed he uses Gorast's feet for the lower jaw. There appears to be a pretty decent amount of Bionicle pieces being re-used. Hmmm... Now that I'm looking at him, Phantom isn't looking too bad (believe it or not). I think one of my main complaints (and this goes for a few villains as well) are all the tubes. They just don't seem to work well. Also, I really don't like the mace all too much. Don't know why, but it would be awesome if they included the green color seen in the "Breakout" picture. Kalhiki
  10. Love the new sets! Well, most of them, anyway (Black Phantom...) As for the Heroes, I'm super happy. Ever since the new build came out I've been hoping for a more classic 1.0 based design. My only complaint is the abs in the armor. I really don't like human features on robots (aside from an overall humanoid look). Also, in the "Catch 'em and Cuff 'em" picture they seem really slim. I like my Heroes with some bulk (Breez is fine since she's a girl). Another complaint are the Cores. Look at Breez in the aformentioned picture. The Hero Core just seems to be jutting out and it doesn't look all that great. But overall the designs are nice and I'm in love with those round should armor pieces. Villains are also really cool. I'm not really one for mindless animal baddies, so this is a relief from Savage Planet. And despite there being a few animals, they still seem sentient. Well, Jawblade at least. Thornraxx is still 'eh' to me. Toxic Reapa is definitely my fav out of them all. ... And then there's Black Phantom who is just terrible. Fire Lord (who wasn't all that great to begin with) definitely beats Phantom by a long shot. He just seems jumbled up, and I'm not even sure how repositioning the back-spike/arm-things would help his overall appearance. I just hope the final is better. Personally, I'd love to see these guys animated in the TV show. I think that will look spectacular. Kalhiki By the way, has anyone noticed the picture of Makuhero City in the word "Breakout"? Looks like there's missiles and rockets being fired at the Factory.
