What is this? Can't be more winter sets, surely. But summer set lists this early? Sweet. So Ekimu's back. Was a little surprised until I realized that he's pretty much part of the team now. The Toa were released in subsequent winter waves, so now Ekimu does the same. Curious to see how they update him. Still not a fan of the idea of him becoming a Toa... But if he retains the overly stocky look he currently has, I won't have too much of an issue. Umarak's back? That makes me happy. Glad he's not a one-and-done villain. Considering he's a hunter, I could see him being hired by Makuta to seek out the Mask of Control. Then stuff happens and he gets upgraded for the summer. Now the Beasts are intriguing. I'm interested in the whole "unity" thing. Whether evil or not, I could see these being fusions of the winter wave's Creatures. Lave would be Stone and Fire. Storm would probably be Ice and Water? I figure that since there's still one name missing, and Earth and Jungle could make a Swamp Beast. Either way, I'm excited to see how things turn out. But bring forth the winter sets first!

Saw the episode. Not bad considering it's a clip show. I dare say Pohatu has the best lines. I just love his attitude. Also, I'm glad they finally outright say Makuta's been up to all this. I don't believe he was ever mentioned as being the reason behind the Skull Spiders and everything, and it felt that everyone was just blaming their problems on him. So it's good to hear that yes. He is indeed the source of the evil upon their land. Also great that they re-established the fact that the Toa have no idea of their origins. So that, at least, remains a plot point that wasn't just thrown under the rug.

I don't really mind since Lewa still retains his Air powers in G2. If I was in charge, I probably would've changed many more elements. Have the team consist of Fire, Water, Earth, Air, Jungle, and Metal. Ice would be an additional power for water since ice is just frozen water, anyway. This means Kopaka would be Metal, Lewa as Jungle, and Pohatu, Air with the remaining three retaining their old elements. Of course, I highly doubt that'd go over well amongst the pre-existing fan-base.

I'm gonna call fake, but it looks so adorkably cute. I want one. I have a soft spot for the Good and Bad Guys of yesteryear despite never attaining any myself. Still want to get the 2008 Good Guy.

Like, that's their regular prices? Pohatu and LOSS being $10 and Onua $15? No, here in the US the first two are $15 each and Onua is $20. So 5 bucks off. Not too bad. Still didn't get any though.

Sorry. on sale. Cut prices. Probably not indicative of all stores, though. That particular Walmart always seems to be slashing prices.

Ask me when they go on sale. Speaking of which, I saw Pohatu, LOSS, and Onua for sale at a Walmart. Pohatu and LOSS were around $10 I think, and Onua $15. I would've picked some up, but I really had no interest (and I already got two extra Onuas when they were on sale at Target a while back).

I believe it's been confirmed that they're just weapon/battle packs like Ninjago's Spinjitzu sets. :/ Sad because I agree. Mech suits utilizing the Mixel balljoints would be divine.

Haha! I have no idea why they decided to use the Vahki leg for that comparison considering the part is clearly based on the Toa Mata body.

Give to me... That's gorgeous. I'd love to see an official, Lego-produced one. Actually, just give me a bunch of G1 inspired armor add-ons. I'd love to see an add-on that's based the Vahki leg.

Which vehicle sets were the best for BIONICLE?
Kalhiki replied to Mandate's topic in LEGO Action Figures
Hm. I'm partial to Fero and Skirmix. It's a dude riding a dinosaur. Jetrax was neat. Streamlined with massive engines. Oh, and Skopio. Loved that thing, even though the build was super repetitive. -
Ah, yes. Somehow slipped my mind how scorpions are usually villain-based. I just figured Pohatu is desert-based, and what's more desert-y than a scorpion? Though considering 2015 Pohatu's boomerangs, a kangaroo would be great to further that Australian/Aboriginal influence. A small Dragon would be lovely for a Fire creature.

Ugh. What a waste of time. Would rather have baseless speculation than getting my hopes up on fake leaks... On topic, though despite it being all fake, I'd still like to see the Toa combine with the Creatures. Just seems like a neat idea and a good marketing strategy on Lego's part to get kids to buy a Toa and a Creature. Speaking of Creatures, Creature hopes: Fire: Snake. Or some kind of lizard. Really hard to figure it out since fire's a sort of odd-ball habitat. Maybe a Goat... Fire Mahi, anyone? Jungle: Bird seems the most likely, but I'd love to see a Chameleon. Water: Toad/Frog. Maybe it's my love for frogs. Ice: Wolf. Can't really see anything else working here. Stone: I honestly see a scorpion happening, but an Armadillo would be sweet. Or the aforementioned Kangaroo. Earth: Crab. Ussals FTW!

On the downside, We've all been lied to. On the upside, speculation is still a thing, so that's fun. So really? We only have the logo and set names? Alright.

Man. I'm starting to become hesitant coming into this topic. I'd absolutely love to hear some nice conversation about the sets and the information Nekchir so kindly told us, but all I find are comments asking for PMs and now E-mails of the leaks. C'mon, guys. I like seeing sets early just as much as the next person, but this is just... I don't know what this is. As others have said, why can't we just be patient? Anyway, to stay on topic, I'm really wondering about the color schemes for the sets. When I think Steampunk, I think browns and bronzes, but I doubt Lego would do that since I don't think dominantly brown sets sell well. And grays and silvers seem too sci-fi for Steampunk.

Keep in mind this is the fantasy world of Bionicle where spiders also only have four to six legs. Seeing a mole with large claws isn't out of the question. What I'd like to see is a frog for one of the creatures. Ghekula was one of my favorite Rahi back in the day, and I'd just love a G2 toad or frog. Or a Tarakava. Small-sized Tarakava would be adorable.
