Very cool. I'd like to see some shots of the lights. I want to know what all you did in the arms to get that to work so well. Aside from that, the MoC is great. A very cohesive design.

Is It Still Worth Getting The 2015 Toa?

Depends on your preferences. I, personally, think the 2015 Toa look better than the 2016 ones. But if you don't mind the 2016 Toa's looks and all they have to offer, then by all means get them. Plus, they have the Unity Modes with the Creatures. And I don't know if you really desire two sets of the same characters. In regards to 2015 sets in general, the Protectors are all pretty great. But aside from that, Lord of Skull Spiders is lackluster and the Skull Villains leave something to be desired. -
Wow. Never would'a guessed the Creature Head would be able to fit so nicely over Tahu Mata's head. Reminds me of when I got Stars Tahu into the Exo Toa. Speaking of Tahu, I decided to get him and Ikir. Ordered them online, so they haven't arrived yet. Should be here shortly. Still don't know if I'll complete the collection. And after seeing the Technic BWE, I really don't know. Gotta save up for that behemoth.

I've run into the same problem. I ended up Maxing them all in an attempt to conserve space... Only to find out they still didn't fit.

Maybe they don't even have eyestalks? I mean, if the head is functioning as the eye color, then what would be the point? I think they may be swapping the mask-knock-off feature for chomping jaws. Plus, in-story, they may not even wear masks. That could be their face, so a mask-knock-off feature wouldn't be necessary.

Oh man... That's the best name for a set I've ever heard. "Of Doom" makes everything better. It ranks up there with "Evil Mobile". It's almost like they're trying too hard to be bad guys. I love it.

I love 'em. And I like the overarching theme they have going on: 3 City based sets (Police, Fire, Cleanup), 3 Historical (Knights, Pirates, Ninjas), and... Not sure what to tag the last one... Occupation? Band, Dentistry, TV? Though I suppose they can be lumped into the City... Either way, I'm too deep into this Mixels collection thing to back out now.

Not to mention those antlers. Whatever it is, I kinda like it. He is a spiritual creature, so maybe he doesn't have a singularly defined form. Perhaps he gained some of the Elemental Creatures' powers and transformed. Who knows. Regardless, the show is continuing to look better and better. Still need to hear voices (though I believe that was someone talking at the beginning of Umarak's video: "That's Umarak!" or whatever).

Surprisingly Awkward-legs Lava Beast is my favorite of the Beasts. Looks really nice. Black/orange crystal swords, trans black crystal armor, and that glorious chest print. Very sinister. Ekimu's okay-ish. Still haven't decided on all the trans blue. But the black/trans red (orange probably) Umarak mask is sweet. Not too sure on Storm Beast's colors. Something about them... And those hands are atrocious. Quake Beast looks alright aside from the solid purple head. And the shoulders. What is going on there? Umarak's still monstrous. the gear hands should be fun to mess with. And I can tell the new Mask of Control will look really weird when not attached to the head. In general stuff: I really hope the jaws move. I really do...

Wow. Umarak's... Substantial. Very good. Definitely an upgrade to his hunter form and very monstrous. Still need closer pics, so I'll patiently wait.

The treasure crab's name is Lewt? That's one letter away from lewd. Well, I know how I'm going to characterize him. Also nice to hear the tribe names. I don't believe we got those before. And the Maxes sound pretty sweet.

My wallet... It cries... These look great. Aaron's vehicle is a nice blend of future jet and crossbow. Axl's wagon looks nice and beefy. The Seige Tower just looks crazy cool. And that volcano base... Wow. Very sinister. The only one I'm not too thrilled about is Macy's vehicle. A little bare-bones in my opinion. I want them. They're crazy cool. And Lego just had to reveal a technic bucket wheel excavator that's going to dig a substantial hole (pun intended) in my wallet. Damn you, Lego. Damn you...

Not bad. Kinda reminds me of the current TF series Robots in Disguise (the art style of which I love). That sorta cartoony CGI hits a good spot on me. Backgrounds aren't too great, but eh. The action will be with the Toa anyway. Now all that's left is to hear the voices! (Hope the narrator isn't the voice of Tahu...)

There, now was that so hard? :P Not much new that we couldn't really already make out based on the prelims. The mention of trans yellow intrigues me, though I'm sure it's just the trans yellow/trans lime green mix-up we had before with Pohatu. I'm mostly curious about the heads as I've always been. Will the Beasts use the standard head? Seems like the sheer size mixed with the hinged jaw would suggest otherwise...

Not really surprised. Constraction always gets the shaft. Nuremburg toyfair's up next, right? And pics are allowed? On the Netflix series, 4 22-minute episodes? I'd like to see them strung together as a movie. Roughly an hour and a half of material, that's not too bad!

Cost of the entire wave isn't really a problem. I can afford it. Thing is, I'd rather spend money on something I really want as opposed to Bionicle figures I'm overall "meh" about. The only reason why I feel a need to get the wave is because of the completist in me (an aspect I'm trying to break). I mean, I wouldn't mind having a complete collection, but if all the figures look like poop, did I really accomplish something? Would I be happy with a Toa team of turds on my shelf? Plus, space is also an issue (not only display, but also storage), so I'm trying to cut back. I have room still, but it's filling up. So I'm just caught in this "what should I prioritize?" limbo. Also, I don't buy sets for parts or based on new molds. I buy things that interest me. My sets are displayed and posed, so missing out on some molds won't really bother me.

So I have a dilemma. I kinda like the sets, but I kinda don't. I have Umarak, Kopaka, Pohatu, and Ketar, and I'm thinking on picking up another Toa with their respective Creature. I want to like the sets, so I'm basically wondering which is the best combo out of the remaining figures. Maybe something to turn my opinion around and get the rest. I'm thinking Tahu and Ikir. I've heard good things about Ikir, and Tahu looks pretty cool to me. Plus, Tahu's the poster-boy. Lewa and Uxar were the other ones I was thinking about. So what do you think I should go for?

Well Ekimu's... Different. I kinda figured he'd be Toa-sized, but I hoped he wouldn't have been. Least not titan-sized, which seems to be the case. The upper halves of the Beasts look cool, but then you get to the lower legs. Makes the 2016 Toa look like gold. And then there's Umarak. I can get behind this. He looks terrifyingly awesome. Like he's entered his final form. There's enough hits of his Hunter form, but he's grown with the power of pure evil. And that mask is the face of Satan. I love it. He may be the only purchase I make of this wave. It all depends on if the Beasts get their legs fixed. Seriously. Who thought Lava Beast's legs were a good idea? Oh man. Umarak's Satan Mask... Plus the horns... Looks like a seriously messed up version of the Mask of Control... Oh sh*t...

While I haven't had problems with Kylo's Lightsaber, I do often have problems with minifig lightsaber rods getting stuck into holes (like the wrist holes of the Exo-Force robot arms). I think it has something to do with the plastic used for transparent parts, but I'm not sure what specifically (can someone inform me?). -
Jestro's Castle is shaping up to be pretty cool. Can't wait to see how it looks in-the-brick.

Many people have reported the difficulty of separating the two. And reconnecting it apparently might make the swivel lose some friction. Seems like once they're attached, they aren't meant to come apart, much like the stud shooter.

I still don't understand how "Mask of Control is released in the third Wave" equals "Bionicle must be ending." I'm positive Lego has set up a release plan. Plus, with the reveal of the Mask of Time being in two pieces, I can see them having two waves for a Mask of Time story arc. Add that to the wave that'll include the Mask of Ultimate Power, and boom. That takes us to the end of 2017. After that I couldn't care if it was over. I would prefer something new to take its place... Or Hero Factory's return. ... *holds up shield*

The big guy (Burnzie?) looks really nice. He's like a really big Scurrier! And he has a disk launcher hand! The rest are pretty sweet too. Yay for more female characters! And hot ones at that! ... I'm sorry.

It was bought a few days ago, but Kylo Ren's Command Shuttle for $90 at Walmart. For some reason it looks like they put all their stock of that set on clearance, so I nabbed one. Much better value than the regular $120 price tag. Now to see if I can mod it to have the wings fold down...
