2025/26 Castle [wishlist/speculation]
karrit replied to GreenhouseBricker's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
I'm hoping they surprise us with the Gumball Machine faction torso. Or maybe one of the choices that didn't win the vote for the new faction. Probably wishful thinking. -

Lego Licensed Parts available from Bricks & Pieces
karrit replied to LegoPercyJ's topic in LEGO Licensed
I got the same thing. Checked my credit card to see if there was a matching pending charge but I'm not seeing anything. If they start shipping duplicates of old orders they are going to have a huge problem because I doubt many of us are willing to pay again for orders we already received months ago. So they would end up having to write off the duplicate shipments or issue free return shipping to get the parts back. I'm still waiting on orders from Oct 9. and after. Today is the 40 business days date that I should have received this order by although when I placed it they were still quoting 28 business days. -
I hate the one black arm one colored arm on the torsos. They should have made both arms black or just stuck with the same color for both arms like most of the 2024 torsos.

Looks to me like the newspaper in the Knight Bus is a sticker rather than a new print. Very disappointing.

21348 Lego Ideas Dungeons & Dragons and D&D CMF
karrit replied to Black Falcon's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
While I basically agree with this for most CMF's if you were able to buy the individual parts on PAB it would cost way more than any one CMF does. This is why I've been getting full sets or even full boxes through my LUG's connection. Even factoring in the figures I don't really want I'm still ahead over buying individual figures at retail. For the D&D ones I knew there were some I actually wanted more of than the full box I bought. Paid regular retail for about 8 more Paladins. One of the Targets near me decided for some strange reason to start selling the series for 1/2 off so I grabbed a bunch more of multiple other figures and an additional 7 or 8 more Paladins. I would have been good with 4 each of the ones that had two heads so I could have one of each version but at $2.49 each I grabbed a lot more than I had planned on for the parts.- 686 replies

Lego Licensed Parts available from Bricks & Pieces
karrit replied to LegoPercyJ's topic in LEGO Licensed
New Elementary has posted lists of PAB parts that have gotten a price reduction as of today. A lot of the soon to be retiring parts are on the lists. -
That was it. I thought it was the Ocean sets but couldn't remember which group they donated to.

I have to agree that it doesn't need to be branded as National Park theme but it would be nice if they did & donated $ to national parks around the world. Didn't they team up with some foundation a few years back for some sets? I'm all for an ongoing Wilderness theme that focuses on animals around the world. If they can do it for Duplo why not regular sets? I need some Moose, Beavers, Mountain Goats, Bighorn Sheep, etc. Some coyote, fox, more wolves. Kangaroos, armadillos, hippo, rhino, zebra, deer, elk, etc.

[OFFICIAL] THREE LEGO Pirate-themed sets announced for November 2024
karrit replied to Mister Phes's topic in LEGO Pirates
I got a code too. I grabbed the Backpack for 100 points also. Hoping I still have enough points if they do reduce points vouchers for Black Friday, though apparently they vouchers are a thing of the past now. -
OOOH, I'd love a National Parks subtheme. Missing Safari animals still wanted also.

Lego Licensed Parts available from Bricks & Pieces
karrit replied to LegoPercyJ's topic in LEGO Licensed
Still waiting on an order from Otober 9 and several more orders after that. The expected shipping time when I originally placed the order was 28 business days which they changed on the website to 40 business days the day after I placed that order. They still have about 2 weeks left to make the 40 business days but the original 28 days have now passed. I'm hoping they arrive before the end of the year but not expecting much at this point. Some of these parts were meant for holiday builds but I guess they will be for next year. -
I'm not impressed. This set makes the Buildable Dobby set look good.

Considering that most places the leaked picture was posted have removed the images I'm betting it was the real thing. -
LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 27. Rumors and discussion
karrit replied to Robert8's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I didn't say it ruined the figure, I said it kind of ruins it for me. I'm not trying to offend anyone. Heads & hair are easily swapped, arms, legs & hands are not. I really like the print on the torso but I don't like mismatched parts on any of my minifigs with the exception of Captain Redbeard & similar "fantasy" pirate figs that have the hook or pegleg. It's a me thing not a bias against disabilities. The M-tron in the space CMF's with the mismatched legs & arms bothered me for the same reason as the astronomy kid does. I like right & left sides of my minifig torsos & legs to match. I simply don't like when they do two different colored or shaped arms or legs on any minifig torsos or legs. The Space Minifigs in this year's City Space subtheme that have two different colored arms bother me also so I won't buy the extra torsos from PAB for that reason I guess that's why Chima & Nexo Knights never appealed to me. I don't like to possibly destroy/mutilate any of my minifigs by trying to swap legs, arms or hands. And in some cases it isn't possible to get a right and a left side that match for the arms or legs anyway. -
LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 27. Rumors and discussion
karrit replied to Robert8's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I'll be ordering one full set through my LUG connection. I'll be buying ones I want more than one of if/when I find any in stores eventually. There are too many in this batch that one will be more than enough for me so this is just an average series to me. The Longboarder, Cupid, Hamster & Jetpack Racer don't really do anything for me so I'll be good with just one of each of those. Of course if I find them at 1/2 off like the D&D ones some extras of the Toy Collector & Cat Lover may be bought for parts as I'd love more than one of each of the plushies & the new cat. I like the Astronomy kid but (no offense to the disabled) the prosthetic arm kind of ruins it for me, I hope the print from that torso turns up elsewhere. My favorites are definitely the Wolfpack Beastmaster, Pirate Quartermaster & Steampunk Inventor so I will be seeking multiples of those. -

I still haven't been able to make myself buy the Jazz Club. This one is a definite buy for me. -
[OFFICIAL] BrickLink Designer Program Series 6

I kind of feel the same way about the Art Factory. Seeing it in more detail with the ability to close it up and the working elevator makes it quite interesting. Is the Wolfpack one a modification of the D&D set? It kind of looks to be shaped the same way. -

When they originally said a B&B with townhouse or shoppes I was hoping for a British Fish & Chips style Pub! Hope the latest news is true. -
21348 Lego Ideas Dungeons & Dragons and D&D CMF
karrit replied to Black Falcon's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
For the first series that had the scanable codes the only one I could get to work was Bricksearch but it was soooo sloow. All the others I tried back then wouldn't work on my phone. The D&D series I mostly used Minifig Scan. Still find some codes that just don't want to scan at all with either app.- 686 replies

@SpacePolice89 I actually found a website that has downloadable pdfs of several of these old books so I've saved several of them. They've also got instructions from older sets that I don't own. Down the rabbit hole I go.

Considering that I have a hard time getting it to even work on a lot of the boxes having a daily limit means I'll be using a different app in the future. I've been having much better luck with minifig scan anyway.- 686 replies

Thank you for the video. I guess I'll have to see if I can find some of these.

Do these old books you are referencing actually have instructions for these sets? All the newer books just have photos of builds and often seem to make use of parts that weren't and/or aren't widely available. I'd love to actually have some instructions to follow rather than trying to reverse engineer from a single photo or buying individual moc instructions.
