My vague guestimate is probably around October right before the annual chaos of PAB being paused for the Holidays like every other year. So orders will be taken in October up through Black Friday & a few lucky people will receive the parts while the rest of us will be left in the lurch until January or February.

I like the Castle figs but the Bandana things on the Kraken Knights will be dumped in the parts bin. Not a fan of the Brown Helmet on them either so I will probably use some other helmets for them. I sincerely doubt they are actually Copper colored. Took me a while to figure out the Pirate Captain. I thought it was a Marching Band member until I saw the map and pistol & realized it was supposed to be a Pirate. Happy for new colors for Classic Space though those weren't my preferred color choices, glad they have the Classic face rather than male & female heads. I don't care at all for the Paradisa, Fabuland or Generic Figures. I'll probably get the set but I'll definitely be buying more Knight, Spacemen & Pirate parts. Wish they had included Redbeard as shown in the original submission.

This Tower set is just a big mess. I always have a hard time justifying a purchase of these expensive large City sets. If I find a super clearance deal on it at some point it might be worth it but I'd much rather spend that kind of money on the well done upcoming Arctic Sets.

Just got credit card notification of the charge for my Standard part order from two weeks ago. I think that's the quickest turnaround I've ever had.

They used to play board games before they discovered video games. They never play much with any dolls. I gave them a few Star Wars Action Figures but I don't know if they actually ever played with them. They were into Beanie Babies which I supplied them a lot of until they started asking me to replace ones that one of the neighbor kids was stealing from them. They had some American Girl Dolls they asked for that just stayed on the shelf. The older one got a Holiday Barbie from her Godfather every year that just went up on a shelf. They asked for a few other stuffed animals over the years but those pretty much just sat not being played with either. Once they started school they were always glued to the video games & later when it became more common they stayed on their computers most of the time. One is now a Physician's Assistant but unfortunately the other suffers from anxiety because she wasn't the golden child. They're both sweet women now but I ache for their not having a more imaginative & creative childhood. I guess it didn't help that they moved away before they ever started school so we didn't get to spend a lot of time with them over their formative years. Guess we should let this thread go back to Castle discussion now.

She had a godson who had LEGO & left bits & pieces everywhere to be stepped on, whatever. Because of that she said no LEGO would never be allowed in her house because she didn't want to have to clean it up or step on it. So my nieces were deprived of all the fun & imagination. Her parenting style was to hand them a Game Gear or Game Boy to keep them entertained. A few years back when my Brother asked if he could have his old LEGO back I firmly told him no. This was the main reason. The other was all his stuff which was basic bricks from the 60's & early 70's had long been mixed in with all the basic bricks I had acquired over the years. I still have it all. Except, I think we donated the Duplo set before we moved.

I wish for Pirates. The original submission did have Captain Redbeard so I hope to see at least him. I'm thrilled we will get 4 space & 4 Castle themed figs. While it would be nice to get two of each of the chosen ones it would be an interesting turn if we actually got 4 totally new figs for each of those themes. I'd be happy with the rare Purple Spaceman and a Green or Earth Blue one. I'd be thrilled if we actually got all 4 of the Castle ones that were in the contest. I will be waiting for the eventual arrival of the parts on PAB. I have no experience with Fabuland or Paradisa. They were out when I was into Classic Space, Castle & Pirates. Fabuland was too babyish for my taste. Paradisa was too Barbie for me but I did like the some of new colors it brought though I never bought any. Also since my SIL banned LEGO from their house I was never able to buy anything from these lines for my nieces who would have been in the right age range for these when they were available. The only LEGO set I ever bought them was a Duplo set that was banished to reside at our house so they could play with it on the rare occasions they visited us. Didn't bother after that. Just bought what I wanted for me and didn't let them near any of it.

The Balrog looks good. I like the archway back drop but definitely not seeing the value in this set. I thought the HP one paled in comparison to the Sherlock Holmes one but this one makes the HP one look so much better. If I end up getting either of these two it wouldn't be until they get a price reduction. The Holmes one is stellar in contrast to these other two.

I finally built mine today. Gotta say I'm a bit disappointed in how cramped everything is. Lilo just barely fits in her bed. The layout of Lilo's room is all wrong. Nani's bed is way too small for a full sized minifig. I love the special touches like the punishment jar. But there are just so many things wrong with this build. House is the wrong color as it's the post destruction rebuild. Along with that the dome is Lilo & Stitch's room so in this iteration is way too small since there's no way to have their bunk beds in it. The laundry room should be separate from the kitchen. Fridge is the wrong color and in the wrong location and most of the rest of the appliances & sink are in the wrong positions in the Kitchen. I knew going in that the house was the wrong color but I expected more from this long awaited set. Now I need to build it properly in the correct color as well as build the reconstruction properly also. I can forgive them not putting the house up on stilts like it should be but the general interior layout is just so horribly wrong.

I wish that darn dinosaur would get retired already!

It is very rare in the US to ever see any set over $100 get put on sale unless it is end of life. Even if they do offer any type of deal it's usually Target when they do a spend a certain amount of money on LEGO get a $10 gift card which only amounts to 10% off or less. The rare times that my local Costco gets any LEGO in I grab it if I'm interested. Just got the Flower Arrangement for $20 off which was only 18%. Our regional Costco Buyers don't seem to order much LEGO for our area. Surrounding states all seem to get lots more interesting stock that we never see. I bought the Great Hall direct from LEGO with a GWP because I've never seen it anywhere else except online retailers at full price. Anytime Amazon has a seemingly good deal on LEGO it's usually through a third party retailer which I'm not about to gamble on after reading the horror stories about set boxes that just have a shipping label slapped on. If it's a direct from Amazon deal then it's usually also available for the same price from other retailers who I'd much rather deal with since my Target Redcard gets me an additional 5% off, my Walmart+ membership means I sometimes actually receive it within a couple of hours of ordering or other stores have a decent Rakuten cashback deal.

I'm glad I have no interest in the current F1 series or the rumored Spiderverse series. I realized yesterday that the $$ I saved on not wanting either of those will be going toward the upcoming Ideas Prize Machine set instead.

I've had little luck finding the Beastmaster. I got two by buying two complete sets through my fellow LUG member's connection. I got one from the LEGO Store. And I lucked into a fresh display at a Walmart when they first put the Easter Display out only because I was probably the first one to find them so I got the three that were there. All the local Walmarts have all the LEGO locked up now. Checked the one Target near me that actually seems to stock the CMF's yesterday and all they had were the F1 boxes. Barnes & Noble has them behind the counter so not easy trying to get anyone to let you scan them. I hate to see what they will be charging for the wolf once it hits PAB. Most likely a much better deal if one can find the CMF at retail anywhere. A friend has found some in a local grocery store chain. The one near me is usually a series behind so maybe I will be able to find some there in the near future. I had no trouble finding the Paladin.

I can't believe they are giving us 8 Minifigs in the Advent Calendar. The other builds are garbage though. Looks like I'll be doing the same three Calendars this year that I did last year, City, SW & HP. After seeing the Wednesday Dahlia Flower Set pictures I'm even more annoyed at the lame plants we're getting in the Herbology set. The plants in the Wednesday set are way more interesting.

I think the Potions class was almost worth the price at $40 with the interesting new parts it included. I don't see an additional $10 worth of value here. They used simple older parts for most of the plants which for the most part aren't very interesting specimens. I know there are some new molds & minifig prints but they aren't even including any of the portrait pieces in this set. The walls are basically archways & windows while potions was a lot of brickwork. The Mandrakes & flower pots are the only interesting new items in this set to me and whatever those gold hook things on the roof are. While there may be some new minifig parts to me they weren't necessary as the parts already existed previously. Other than Neville getting the headphones separated from his hair of course. So instead they attached them to Professor Sprout's Hat/hairpiece making that part only usable in this set for the one character. I feel like to make a decent greenhouse you need at least three copies of this set so $150 would be a steep price to pay. Fortunately I recently got a bunch of those Archway pieces off the PAB wall and most of the green plant parts so along with some windows I should be able to expand upon this set fairly easy. I was really hoping for some more interesting unique looking plants in this set so I'm a bit disappointed with they way they cheaped out with the parts they used.

I think the Herbology class is way overpriced for what's in it. Yes there are some interesting new parts but I'm not seeing the value in this set at all. A couple of years back this would have been $30-35. Looks like the Quidditch Supplies has yet another Slytherin Quidditch Robe. Would have preferred a Hufflepuff one. Will be interesting to see what else the two shops have inside that we can't see in these photos.

Yeah, when I first saw the price for the sails I thought it was pretty pricey. Then I figured it averaged $4.22 per piece so not too bad compared to the price for some of the capes.

I think I'd go with Shop Owner from the looks of it.

Can't make out the word after "Shop" but Alicia & Katie are the other two. The Herbology Greenhouse is nice but I think I'll be needing several to make it look much bigger & better.

Of course I ordered a bunch of parts last night while the Coral Reef GWP was still available. They always seem do do these new drops right after I place a large order. Guess it's time to start a new list to wait in the wings for the next interesting GWP knowing that many of the parts I want will go out of stock in the interim. May need to grab some of the animals meanwhile.

Frozen 2 has Bruni for Elsa. Gus the mouse for Cinderella. Raya had TukTuk. Wish has Asha's pet goat Valentino.

I have no clue. Just a random idea that struck me when seeing the news about the Unicorn Castle and the descriptions of the animals. It reminded me of the scene in Fantasia that had all the Pegasus in different colors. I find it a stretch that the budget for this Creator set allowed for these animals so I suspect they were more likely designed for something in another theme.

So what are the chances those Pegasus and/or Unicorn figures end up in a Disney Fantasia set?

I have some of the Disney Sets & CMF's. I guess I could use some of those as well as some of the HP figs. I just wish they would make Female Castle Figs that use the colors to match with the various Knight Factions.
