  1. I just got charged for my January 28th order which included the Gargoyles & a bunch of other new September parts that were available briefly. Order status show "Shipped". I'm shocked! The replacement for the 2 Capes from the Early November order that went missing have also been shipped. Here's hoping they will make standard parts available in the US again soon. I've got a bunch of projects for upcoming shows that I may need to alter or postpone since I can't currently get the parts I need for them.
  2. It's in the Horizon Adventures Aloy & Varl vs. Shell-Walker set.
  3. If only the baby sized fig parts weren't so expensive. I need some baby space figs in more colors.
  4. I like it but it seems a bit small for the price. Don't know if I'll be buying it. So many other sets I want already.
  5. They also had Gingerbread Woman parts in the 2022 Holiday BAM tower.
  6. Finally scored some Wolfpack Beastmasters in the wild yesterday. They were in the Easter Basket stuffers display in a local Walmart. I think I was the first to find them since it looked to be a full box was in the bin. All three of the Beastmaster were still there. Been looking for them for so long I had no restraint and bought all three.
  7. Boo for brick built horses. I' guess I'll be using those parts for something else. It would be nice to get some new different colored bardings to go along with whatever the new faction is but that wouldn't happen in a Creator set. Too bad we will get a joust set without the proper bardings. May have to pick up a few more of the ones from the Lion Knights Castle. I also wish we could get some Black or Gray molded horses.
  8. New Elementary posted a story about it today.
  9. Quidditch Pitch wouldn't be my choice. I bought 4 copies of the 2018 one and haven't done anything with them yet. It would need to have at least two full house teams and some really detailed stands which would make it quite pricey. Like the D2C Hogwarts Express it would end up costing way more than I'd be willing to spend so most likely I probably wouldn't buy it. Personally I'd prefer a D2C quality Hogsmeade Village set or a detailed Leaky Cauldron, Borgin & Burkes, or a few more D2C Diagon Alley shops.
  10. Still waiting on the two capes they shipped out separately on January 29 from my November 8 order. According to USPS they left a partner (most likely DHL) facility in Denver on February 5 but USPS has never received them. I sent a message to LEGO last night letting them know I never received the package, still waiting for a response from them. Still waiting on my November 23 order which looks like they have finally shipped today. No Invoice/receipt received for it yet but showing shipped on the website. The rest of my November 8 order has supposedly left the Shipping Partner facility in New Jersey according to USPS, hopefully it won't get lost like the two capes did. Received my November 29 order yesterday.
  11. Due to the quantity of figs they pack in each box I prefer the current 12 figs per series. I like it when the total number of figs in the box is evenly divided by the amount of different minifigs so that one can expect to most likely get 3 complete sets in each box unless there is a glitch in the packing process. When there were 16 there were uneven quantities of each minifig so all bets were off as to whether or not one would even get 2 complete sets. And the figs they made more of weren't necessarily the ones that were in high demand. So my vote is for the current 12 or else 18 if they were to raise the number of different minifigs in any given series.
  12. The Minifigure Factory was already moved over there by those doors last time I visited last May. They had supposedly closed for renovations a few months ago but the last pictures I saw from there I really didn't notice anything different. Did they still have the old BAM towers or was it the newer style ones they are installing in new stores that are more like a table with bins of parts?
  13. We have two LEGO stores in Colorado. The one I visited on Saturday, south of Denver, did not have the new February BAM. Due to the higher than expected amounts of snow I wasn't able to make it to the other store west of Denver but they do have the February BAM according to some of my fellow LUG members. I'm hoping to get there this coming Saturday, the weather is supposed to be much warmer with no snow currently in the forecast after Thursday. That Disney Springs store is consistently inconsistent in what their stock situation is. Are they finally finished with the renovations?
  14. The two cape # 72 that they sent first from my November 8th order on January 29th seem to have been lost in shipping as I never got a shipping notice from USPS. The four torn capes they sent next a couple of days later have arrived. The remainder of the order is on it's way as I have received shipping notification from USPS. If the two missing capes aren't with the rest of the order I will be calling CS since they charged me for them & sent a separate receipt. I can't wait for them to finally get through all the backlog.
  15. That's because your parts all ship from the Poland warehouse now. There is no longer separate classifications of best seller or standard parts for your region of the world. Can't wait until we get the same type of system if ever.
  16. All the Walmarts near me have all the LEGO in locked cases now including the Minifigs & Polybags. I lucked into a staff member being in the LEGO Aisle yesterday who was willing to open the case & let me scan what was there. No Beastmasters of course. Early January I scanned about 500 boxes in a fully stocked display at Scheels & there were absolutely no Beastmasters. I haven't been to Kohls. Only one of the Targets I frequent seems to get the CMF's anymore & but I haven't seen this latest series there yet. One local King Soopers had a box that still had everything but the Beastmaster in it & the other one only had two boxes of the previous series out. Haven't bothered to check in Barnes & Noble. Tried one Best Buy about a month ago & they had no CMF's. It's looking like the only Beastmaster's I'll have are the two I got in the two full sets I bought through my LUG.
  17. The theme had potential. The overwhelming use of mechs for many of the sets was a total turnoff for me.
  18. Looks like they are finally shipping my November 7th order. Credit card has been charged & order now shows as shipped. Still have the November 23 & 29 orders to wait on as well as the one I placed last week.
  19. They didn't suspend ordering for North America until December. All they did prior to that was keep extending the number of days it would take for them to ship out the orders. When I placed my October 9th order the shipping time on the website still said 28 days. It was changed on the website to 40 days the day after I placed that order which coincides with when they converted the European warehouse. It remained posted as 40 days throughout October. they didn't change it to 50 days until some time in November. I don't think it was unrealistic for us to expect to receive our orders within two months based on the shipping times they posted on the website. I think what really upsets most of us is the failure on their part to keep us updated on the delays and the continuous use of the warehouse & warehouse software upgrades as the excuse for these delays. It doesn't help that the responses when one does contact CS is they are working on it and no concrete info on when we can reasonably expect to receive items we ordered months ago. Then they keep telling us to give it a couple of more weeks and we can call back to cancel the order if we want after we give it a few more weeks. It's not bloody likely that I'm going to cancel any order that contains parts that are slated for retirement, that's the whole reason many of us ordered the parts when we did. Back in December I was assured that I would receive everything that I ordered because they were available. Now people are having parts deleted from orders placed months ago due to them now being sold out.
  20. The European warehouse upgrade occured back in early October. The upgrade was for Europe, Australia & New Zealand but not North America. Here we are 4 months later still waiting. They didn't shut down ordering for us until after Black Friday which was almost two months later. Now they are using the warehouse & warehouse software upgrades as an excuse for these 3 & 4 months delays. I fully expected that I would receive my orders from October before Christmas but only received the last one which was my first October order a couple of weeks ago. Based on previous years I knew not to expect the November orders until some time in January but I certainly expected to have received them by now.
  21. This situation is beyond ridiculous at this point. I knew the November orders would be delayed but the October orders were crazy enough since I received the two later orders well before the earliest one. Now November orders seem even worse since they've shipped me two parts out of 61 in two separate shipments from my November 7th order. The other 59 parts are still in limbo. I find it hard to believe at this point that none of those part are available to ship since they seem to have no problem sending the same parts to the rest of the world and only sending me two out of the 61 different parts in two separate shipments. This order was over 400 total parts of 61 different standard ones. We are now beyond 90 days for my November 7th order. My last message to them was met with the same generic response that people have been getting since December about excessive orders, warehouse issues & they are working on it. I guess at this point we need to expect it might take up to a year to receive any non-bestseller seller parts ordered if we are in North America which is totally unacceptable. I also have two additional orders from late November that I'm waiting on. Also placed an order for some newer parts last week that at this point I'll be lucky if I see them by next summer. Kind of makes it impossible to plan anything for conventions unless you can plan a year out or longer.
  22. Was able to scan some in my Walmart yesterday. Somewhat similar results to the above in regards to the Dinosaur, Telescope & Skateboard ones. Don't remember seeing Cupid or Bogeyman and maybe just a couple of the cat one and only one or two Hamster and the Plushie ones. Just 2 or 3 of the Harbormaster & Steampunk, more of the rest and of course zero Beastmaster. There was only maybe a box & a half worth there.
  23. I have to agree that I'd much rather they give us real world animals before robot/cyborg critters & mythological beasties. They add lots of new ones all the time for Friends & Duplo but not for the City sets. And when they finally do it's often a recolor of something that was made for a licensed set. I would have loved some recolored foals for the City line rather than just the one off from the CMF a few years back. Still waiting for some black sheep and some different colored cows along with a bunch of different forest critters.
  24. Just got one of the two items they've actually shipped individually from my November 7th order. I thought it would be the one with 2 capes since they supposedly shipped that first. Turned out to be the 4 torn capes that they shipped out a few days later. Guess I'll give it til the end of next week to see if the other ones show up before giving CS a call.
