There's a seal in one of the side builds!

I would love a Headless Horseman Minifig but I guess I'll need to make my own. I doubt they would ever put a full size horse in a CMF. I need to look through my minifigs to see if I might have suitable parts to make one. I know I have plenty of the Jack-o-lantern pumpkin head since I just pick some more up from the BAM tower today. And I know I have some Black Horses from my old Castle sets.

Curious to see actual pictures of these. Some of them sound quite interesting but without pictures or actual details speculation can vary greatly from reality. Curious if the Cat Lover might come with more than one cat. Will Wolfpack Beastmaster have the Wolfpack torso? Pirate Quartermaster sounds interesting. Plush toy could be anything.

That's interesting about Baymax being sold out near you. That is the one figure I did not want and did not buy from the Disney 100 CMF. I didn't see the movie & I think the character is just a knock off version of the Stay Puff Marshmallow man or the Michelin Tire guy. There were plenty to be found near me when I was looking. As for the D&D Mind Flayer that is the one that is of least interest to me followed by the Lady of Pain. Then again I have no interest in D&D in general so I don't know the background of any of the characters. I'm getting a full box but I'll probably sell off the two extras of the Mind Flayer to a fellow LUG member who expressed interest in taking them off my hands. I just sort of like the walking brain creature. I think that most of the figures looked interesting enough to incorporate into Medieval, Spooky & HP themed builds which is why I'm getting a full box.

I have to agree with others that I'll be buying this mostly for the minifigs. I'll build it but most likely the bulk of it will end up in the parts bins eventually. So my opinion of the set hasn't really changed from my initial impressions when it won the contest. I felt back then that I would get it more for the figures than the actual overall set. I am glad that they chose to replace the original minifigs with new ones we don't already have.

I hope the Gargoyles become available through PAB. I have no interest in the Wednesday theme. The roof top set that has the gargoyles is cute but not something I need.

Should we start a pool on how fast this set gets a price reduction?

I wish it were a minifig scale Diagon Alley addition but it being microscale will save me money for the other sets I want. I don't buy the microscale stuff.

Finally a Lilo! I was a bit meh on the original submission but this is awesome. I'm glad they went with different minifigs and gave us ones we don't already have.

Like I stated earlier, This series is scheduled to release in April rather than the normal May CMF Slot so it's possible this will be in addition to the normal CMF releases.

It would really help if people who post which scanning apps work for them would specify which type of phone operating system they are using. I have an android and the only app I've ever been able to get to work is the Bricksearch one.

No goat popularity must never decline! We need black goats, all the shades of brown goats, spotted goats, tan goats, beige goats, light gray goats, all the shades of nougat goats, all the different colors with spots or even just colored snouts or legs. There will never be enough goats!

Hopefully this is just a random additional series that doesn't take up a normal CMF slot since it's being released in April. Isn't the normal CMF release schedule January, May & September?

Definitely won't be getting the F1 series. More $ to spend on other stuff. Now to go out hunting the D&D series to pick up a few extras beyond the 3 full sets I already ordered and am impatiently waiting for.

It has an elf minifig so definitely North Pole themed. Too bad they are using a green elf torso yet again. I'd really like some more red ones. It looks like it may be a new print though. Elf hat is green also.

The tan is the color that bothers me too. I guess some modifications may be in order.

Yes, there is 2x points on select HP sets in the US. The ship qualifies but not the new Burrow. There were some other sets that don't get 2x including the newest version of the Great Hall. The plushies and some other items like the two display cases also qualify for the 2x points. There is a spot on the Back to Hogwarts page to click to get the list of what gets 2x points.

I went ahead & got the Burrow. Cashed in enough points to get $150 off. I purposely didn't buy most sets this year waiting for the GWP. Still trying to decide if I want to place another order for something else on my wishlist to get the 2x insider points or wait for the inevitable price reductions or whatever sets Costco might get in this year. I'm a bit bummed now that I went & bought the Potions Class week before last to reach the spend threshold for the Pegasus GWP. Had I waited until today I could have gotten the 2x points on it. Guess I should have gone with one of the City Jungle sets for that previous purchase.

I wanted this set mostly for the gorillas & jungle builds. The helicopter looks like a huge beast next to the rest of the set. I was able to get the set at 50% off so I bought it since I expect buying the gorilla parts off PAB will most likely cost $20 or more each. I haven't built the set yet but may end up doing as a fellow LUG member suggested and try selling off the helicopter if I decide I don't want to keep it.

I see different colors too. I hope it's just the lighting because if the arms are two different colors I won't get the torso. I don't care for mismatched arms or legs on my minifigs with the exception of the peg leg pirate legs. But they really need to make a version with the peg leg on the opposite side. I did get a couple of the space alien torso with the two different arms but it bothers me.

I had backlogged most of this year's HP sets waiting for the GWP. All I've bought this year are the polybag, Boathouse & Owlery. I was gifted the Sorting Hat & Hedwig at 4 Privet Drive. I still have Hagrid's Hut, Potions Class, Forbidden Forest: Magical Creatures, Hogwarts Castle: The Great Hall, Ollivaders & Madame Malkin's Robes, & Triwizard Tournament: The Arrival on my wishlist. I'll get the Advent Calendar elsewhere at a discount. Still trying to decide if I want to get The Burrow on release day or just go with something else from my wishlist. The rest of the 2024 sets I don't really want unless I find them at a huge discount. Even then I'll pass on the Buckbeak & Aragog sets.

I've never seen the whole movie. Just bits & pieces here & there. But when I saw this entry in the competition it's the one I voted for. Pirate ship, treasure caves, what's not to like?

It's amazing how the people I choose to put on my ignore list always seem to end up getting banned. I thought I was going to need to add someone else to that list earlier today but I'm glad it was a short lived possession.
