  1. I'll be getting S27 but F1 & Spidey are a huge pass for me. Not going down the rabbit hole of the Spidey ones just for accessories. I did that with Marvel Series 2 & regretted it since there were maybe 3 or 4 figures I actually liked. At least I only bought 1 full set of those at a discount.
  2. Big skip for me. So I guess the January release will be it for me this year for CMFs. More money to spend on other sets so that's not a bad thing.
  3. Bummer about it just being a buildable figure with no minifigs. Hopefully if it sells well some playsets may come in the future.
  4. Fine with me if they are regular legs.
  5. I like the torso, bird & the legs even though they are the mid ones, at least they are printed. Never been a fan of that hair piece, would much have preferred another style pirate hat with hair. The face is meh but I guess it looks like an angry, fighting face. I've always disliked the fabric skirt pieces as they never hang right. I will most likely get a few of these for the bird, legs & torso.
  6. The picture you posted for the Treasure Chest is actually the Chronometer.
  7. I'm curious to see what the train one will look like. The others are just okay. I thought we were supposed to be getting an Ideas Space themed GWP for Black Friday. Not really interested in the record player thing but If I buy the Endurance it will meet the threshold so I'll find something to do with the parts. I miss the more Christmas themed GWP's like the snowy outdoor scenes & things with elves.
  8. I was really leaning toward not getting this but my resolve is cracking. I remember watching the Kenneth Branagh mini series years ago and found it to be a fascinating story. This model is a thing of beauty.
  9. I usually get whatever the Building is for this theme. I have no interest in any of these upcoming sets aside from a few new parts so I'll be waiting for those to be added to PAB.
  10. Super Mario wants a word.
  11. What I've seen from Fortnite so far I have zero interest in. Never had any interest in The Simpsons. Marvel depending on the characters I might get some mostly for parts like I did with the second wave but now that the boxes are scannable I doubt I'd actually get the full set. I skipped a couple in the first series and there are several from the second I definitely would have passed on had they been scannable.
  12. Just saw a rumor about How to Train Your Dragon sets coming in 2025. Should be a good source of parts for Vikings & Castles.
  13. Just saw a rumor of How to Train your Dragon Sets for 2025. Can't wait to see what these look like.
  14. I'm at the point where I just buy the interesting parts I want off of PAB. I don't care at all for any Mechs and most of the builds seem to be just a bunch of pieces jumbled together to make a giant animal, vehicle or whatever. This theme has turned into pretty much a scary cutesified alternate to Ninjago & Monkie Kid. If I find a great sale on the one or two sets that somewhat appeal to me in each wave then I will grab them but so far I'm not seeing anything of interest in the next wave.
  15. Definitely agree with this. Most of these reviewers only got into LEGO during the Covid pandemic and know little about the history. Heck, most of them haven't even been alive for much longer than the millenium if even that long. LEGO should be sending me free sets considering how long I've been buying. But I'm not about to post on facebook, you tube, tik tok or whatever is the social media platform of the day. Social Media Influencer is not a real job in my opinion.
  16. PAB, they are up already mostly without pictures and most are currently out of stock.
  17. The builds are cute. The figures are horrifying!
  18. I personally want play scale. I love the old printed wall panel pieces & big ship hulls. While the newer more detailed sets look great and I do enjoy building them, as I get older my arthritic bones can't handle long periods of placing tiny parts, tiny brick by tiny brick anymore. Not to mention I can't spread everything out to sit on the floor and build like I used to without being in pain for days after.
  19. I know that a lot of people don't have the ability to go to a LEGO store to get the parts so it's great that they will be able to get them this way. With the price of some of the PAB/BAM parts on PAB I'd much rather just buy what I can get in store from the BAM towers. I was fortunate enough to be able to get what I wanted when that wave was released. The skirt piece from the Green Queen is priced at $2.52 so almost the cost of one minifig from the BAM tower. As I've said before I try to maximize the value of the parts I buy from the BAM tower so will normally grab pricier parts such as this skirt, dual molded hat or hair pieces, dual molded or printed legs, Animal mask head pieces, more expensive accessories like the flasks, the Jack-o-lantern headpiece, the data pad book cover piece, animals and different color heads, etc.
  20. Yes, there were a bunch of new parts added over the last few months that have always shown out of stock that are basically duplicates of currently available parts just with different part numbers. Some of the parts are now on the retirement list. I haven't taken the time to see if they are the newer numbers or the older ones. Some of the retiring ones are fairly new parts in colors that are basic so it's weird that they are being retired while others are being kept. This is why I don't wait in hope that parts I'm interested in will become "bestsellers". I would have totally missed out on the black squirrel & black retriever and now the new colors of the geode had I waited.
  21. It's nice looking but with it not being minifig scale I most likely won't be buying unless I get a great deal on it. I try to stick to minifig scale with Botanicals sets being the exception since they are a whole different thing.
  22. Not an impressive mix. Nice to get the red bird but and the girl's sweater might be nice though you can't see the whole print on it. The brick suit guy even though green isn't what I'm looking for in a holiday minifig. I certainly don't need anymore Santa's but I'm sure the kid's will like them. I do like the package tile they show with him. I'm still waiting for them to release the elf hat with braids in another color or two so there's a missed opportunity as well and I'd really like some red elf torsos.
  23. The figure holding the red staff looks like it uses Mrs. Castillo's body (left of the knight fig). I don't know if that particular body for her has been available before. Looks to be black with a red scarf.
  24. The beetle printed tile is the turquoise thing I spotted in the tree. Glad to see the tan bird is the one from the D&D CMF's.
