  1. Yesterday I got the invoice for my missing parts from my October order. Body and arms of the gorilla. So hopefully they get shipped soon so that I get the last missing animal from the summer 2024 City jungle sets. Yes, same here. OOS parts aren't shown anymore. Nazgul and wolfpack torsos are available. But the Nazgul torso is quite expensive with 1,73 €.
  2. Well, this is cool! I like this conversion ... well done! Using this teal headdress is a nice idea.
  3. And here are some photos with the top decoration:
  4. We get another useful pilot torso in the new Ninjago City Workshops. And the three torsos in set 21355 „Evolution of STEM“ might be useful as well.
  5. Yes, @SERVATOR's vintage cars are just awesome. It's actually him I got the inspiration from to use those mudguards. All credits go to him!
  6. Well spotted - both points. Thanks! I actually used the top decorations for an other MOC and forgot the re-install them here.
  7. @Feuer Zug @LEGO Train 12 Volts Thank you! Yes, you're right. Thanks for the hint. I added some structure because it's a ceremonial place:
  8. Sounds very good. I'm looking forward to see your MOC.
  9. This is my contribution for #johnnythunderthursday hosted by @johnnythunderthursday over on IG. Thursday 30th January 2025 was themed "SNAKES". This is a small temple found by Johnny Thunder, Doctor Lightning and Gail Storm deep in the jungle. But beware of the snakes - they are colourmatching to the trousers of our heroes ...
  10. @Murdoch17Thank you very much for that explanation!
  11. Now this is cool. The all black colour gives it great gangster vibes. But why train wheels? That's very kind, thank you. Using the 1x1x3 panel solved a problem I had: I wanted to use the 1x1x4 fence piece but this was too long by one stud. I didn't think about that 1x3 panel. Well don by you! I'm looking forward to see it.
  12. Thank you. Yes, the new mudguards fit quite well.
  13. @icm and @Murdoch17 I'm looking forward to see your cars!
  14. Thanks. And yes, you might be right. But the most important thing is to lock the mudguards to the cockpit piece on top (tan 2x2 plate with tan 1x2 brick in the front and two black 1x2 plates with tan 4x4 plate in the back). This gives most sturdiness. You're very welcome!
  15. Thank you very much! Both, please! @icm Here you are. It's quite simple once I had figured it out. It should be pretty easy to build other models on this chassis.
  16. Well, that's looks realy good. Well done. I like it, especially that you used the classic cockpit piece. Just one point: I think that the mudguards are a bit too massive. They are lacking the elegance of the rest of the car.
  17. Thank you very much. Yes, sure, I will post some photos with details. Please give me some days to take the photos. Thank you ver much. Very appreciated. This part comes in dark brown and white, too. PaB has it for 0,57 € which is IMHO not a bad price. I will try it next for a truck.
  18. @lifeinplastic Thank you very much for your kind words. I fully agree! Yes, I try to keep the old, classic parts (as the cockpit piece or pronted pieces) and mix them in a modest way with modern parts. Just a smooth make-over but with a classic touch. Yes it did. And it was used by TLG until recently (in lime and azure not very useful colours).
  19. When I saw this new mudguard (part 1846) in set 77012 back in 2023 I immediately wanted to use it for an Adventurers' car. But only 6w, not 8w as in set 77012. Thanks to @SERVATOR (to whom go all the credits) and his great car MOCs I got some inspiration how to build a modern version of the legendary Scorpion Tracker. (If you haven't seen @SERVATOR 's cars yet you have to visit his IG account (@servator_bricks). Awesome MOCs!) And here it is - the new Scorpion Tracker 2023! ("2023" because this is the year part 1846 was released and because it is 25 years after the release of set 5918.) As always critics and comments are welcome.
  20. I got two viking torsos today for my Viking Village. They are awesome!
  21. I think @Captain Fortune's problem is, that the old wall panels only exist in old (light or dark) gray. My suggestion for a solution: @Captain Fortune you should brick build these wall panels with bricks and arches in new light gray.
  22. Yes, I think so. Looks great.
