  1. As I'm not a fan of fleshie minifigs I switched the ones from sets 77013 and 77012 in yellow ones ( and gave the mummy dark tan arms). What do you think?
  2. @MKJoshAThank you very much for your review! I rate that set with a 10/10. At this price point (I even got it with 30% discount) it's just perfect. A very playable truck, a decent jungle structure, a big animal and three minifigs. I replaced the stickers on the sides of the truck by using this printed tile (from sets 60377 and 60379):
  3. To it's size: First, the helicopter doesn't fit size wise to the ATV, the plane and the truck of sets 60424, 60425 and 60426. It's far too massive in comparison to the other three verhicles/plane. Second, I'm a child of the late 1970s/early 1980s and used to 4W. I know that this is antiquated/out-dated but I just prefer vehicles in 6W or 8W. I think that a helicopter in size of that from set 60302 would have been perfect: Third: I have the impression that the helicopter was only designed to fit the sidebuilds of set 60437 (as you demonstrated in your review). So form followed function. It's a "box" for the sidebuilds but not a helicopter from origin. To it's design flaws: I just don't like it's overall appearance and especially it's brick build front (normally I'm a huge fan of brick build solutions). Part 11293 makes a much better helicopter (but is obviously too small for this "monster"): But as I wrote earlier - this is just my subjective opinion. @LEGO Train 12 Volts
  4. A direct comparison between the classic Scorpion Tracker from 1998 and its modern counterpart from 2024:
  5. When I saw Mrs. Flume's medium lavender legs with apron (from set 76388 Hogsmeade Village Visit) I wanted to test if they are useful for some kind of jungle warriors. I bought matching torsos and heads on BL and violΓ  - here are my jungle warriors: As always - critics and comments are very welcome!
  6. That's a nice idea! Do I understand you correctly that these parts you mentioned are from that 1997 container?
  7. I never had any pirates sets but nevertheless I'm a big fan of the classic pirates. I think set 6267 Lagoon Lock-Up is one of the best pirates sets. Here is my Adventurer-ized version of Lagoon Lock-Up. It is meant to be another extension for the Adventurers' jungle sub-theme. This tavern deep in the South American jungle is not only a place where you can get a drink but also a place where rumors are spread and information can be gathered. So Mike tries to get to know the whereabouts of Senor Palomar and Rudo Villano. As always - comments and critics are very welcome!
  8. Thank you! Thank you as well! Actually it's completed but perhaps I will change some of the plants and foilage.
  9. Thanks a lot for your review and the great photos! I have sets 60424, 60425 and 60426 as well as the polybag. But I won't buy set 60437 - IMHO the helicopter is too big and not so nice. But that's my personal view.
  10. Parts from May have been added. At least in Germany. https://www.stonewars.de/news/neu-bei-lego-pick-a-brick-august-2024-krokodile/
  11. Do you know if they are from the same container lost on sea 1997? https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-england-cornwall-68911765 Or are they from playing children who lost their Legos?
  12. @StreaMRoLLeRThat's a nice collection and a great presentation. Just a question to the second photo: Where is that gray brick with the statue printed on (or a sticker?) in the background of the entrance from? (I have rebricked set 5986 but still need to get that raised baseplate - it's soooooo expensive.)
  13. This is my MOC of Harry Caneβ€˜s cabin which was inspired (obviously) by set 40566 β€žRay the Castawayβ€œ. Itβ€˜s an Adveturer-ized version of that small but awesome set. Poor Harry has had a plane crash in the jungle and has built a cabin as a shelter against wild animals, bad wether and so on … have you spotted his jacket hanging in the cabin? As always - critics and comments are welcome!
  14. @YellowFrog That statue is great! (BTW - I'm using a yellow frog as kind of a fingerprint in my MOC's. )
  15. @Lion KingNo bad feelings. I'm a classic guy and stick to the old gang!
  16. Great MOC on your videos. Well done! This is my very personal subjective opinion, but I agree with this (keep the subthemes separated) and with this (but using some new parts and molds - like i.e. the toucan - is very usefull nevertheless). What about a landing strip in the desert or some Arabian style houses for the desert subtheme?
  17. Oops, I totally forgot. I do have the 2014 Johnny Thunder in my collection but didn't think about his reddish brown hat ...
  18. Yes, I agree. OP's posts read absolutely weird ... it sems like a machine is answering.
  19. BCN is Barcelona, Spain?
  20. I once found a heavily scratched white 1x4x3 panel on the sidewalk. Senor Palomar now uses it as sign for his trading post (the sticker is self-printed):
  21. I got these three sets (ATV, plane, truck) for about 30% discount. They are awesome!
  22. Looks cool! πŸ‘
  23. They are both from Monkie Kid: https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=3626cpb2987#T=C&C=3 https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=3626cpb3070#T=C&C=3 I think itβ€˜s a great but underrated torso. I use it for my sigfig/avatar.
