I totally agree! Yes, mid sized and small sets aimed to us AFOLs are missing. Not GWPโs, but real sets, a whole range of sets for adult aimed themes.

Thank you! Your tower is a very fine piratish conversion!

@Murdoch17 Both look great! Good job, well done! I would buy them Both if they were real sets. (But I repeat ๐ for the sake of proportions the deckhouses of the steamer should be a little bit lower. Sorry for that. ๐)

You could take it as a underdress or a chemise. -

@Murdoch17That's a fine steamer with classic vibes! Well done! Some minor suggestions (but only my personal view): The proportions might be better with the deckhouses being not 6, but only 5 bricks high (and one or two row of plates/tiles). I think the more modern 6 brick-height is too much compared to minifgs. What about a crane at the foremast and some extra cargospace in front of the deckhouse (say 4 rows of studs plus)? A bit like this:

Thank you very much! I see your point and Iโm aware of this discussion. I myself see Adventurers as a pretty accurate historical theme with a setting in the 1920s. But at the same time it has some phantasy aspects: the living mummy (Pharao Hotep) in the Desert subtheme, Achu or the living dinos from Dino Island. The Dragon Fortress (set 7419) itself has a living dragon in its dungeon. Iโm fine with that. So My Green Dragon has itโs rider. ๐

This is my MOD of set 71829. I used the rebrickable instruction made by rebrickable user "mmsykwalker". https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-259544/mmskywalker/better-poseable-green-dragon/#details His instructions are awesome! The Green Dragon is now part of my Dragon Fortress layout. On his back sits one of the Dragon Fortress Guards. In this pose the Green Dragon and his rider remind of the Fell Beast and the Nazgul (set 40693). Set 71829 is a small but very nice set. A real gem. Sometimes Ninjago has some very useful sets and parts for our beloved Adventurers. As always, comments and critics are very welcome.

This is my latest MOC, a blacksmith shop for the Dragon Fortress (set 7419), meant as an extension for the Adventurers' Orient Expedition China subtheme. I got the inspiration for this MOC from the classic castle set 6040 "Blacksmith Shop". Built on a 8x16 light gray baseplate it fits perfectly to the raised baseplate of the Dragon Fortress. The roof and the red pillars fit to the architectural style of the Adventurers' Orient Expedition China sets (7413, 7416 and 7419). Instead of the red horse battle helmets (part 6125) I once again used modern cattle skulls (part 13695) for the roof decoration. As swords I used the katanas from the 1998 Ninja theme (with octagonal guard). As always, comments and critics are very welcome.

Well, for me itโs perfect as an expedition truck. I will give it bigger wheels and mudguards in the style of the 2017 City Jungle trucks using part 28326 as mudguard.
