  1. Sounds good for Adventurers‘ use. 😁
  2. About 2.800 elements to be removed during November: https://www.newelementary.com/2024/10/lego-pick-brick-element-removal-and.html?m=1
  3. I do like Fabuland. I had a few sets when I was a kid and played a lot with them - until they were overwhelmed by classic town, space and castle.
  4. Just my thoughts. I like the Blue roof though.
  5. Nazgul torso and all gorilla parts back in stock. I ordered one each. Wolfpack torso still oos.
  6. @sander1992 This colour scheme and its effects are awesome!
  7. @zinnnNice solution. Looks really good.
  8. That's the one I use: Unfortunately the prints on torso and legs are worn of ...
  9. Yes, it was an incredible find. Well, perhaps I should swap the pilot - Harry Cane would be a good choice.
  10. Well, did you know that the identical plane from set 7417 is in set 7420 but with red instead of yellow? But with red being the colour of the goods guys in the Adventurers sets (with set 5920 being the exception) you are right using yellow. I withdrew my suggestion. You did a good job!
  11. May I present the new gem of my small collection? Set 4778 Desert Biplane from 2005, a promotional set which apparently was only sold by airlines on flights. Link to Bricklink: https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?S=4778-1&name=Desert Biplane&category=[Town][Classic Town][Airport]#T=S&O={"iconly":0} I found it in an almost complete condition with all stickers in perfect shape on a flea market and paid only 10 Euros for it. This set was on my wish list for a very long time (I even thought about rebricking it) so I'm very happy to have it now as part of my Adventurers' themed collection. It's a bit larger than the planes in set 5928 Bi-Wing Baron, set 5948 Desert Expedition or set 7420 Thunder Blazer. But it is so cool and has a very nice design. Nonetheless I did some minor modifications. For example I added part 4185 Technic Wedge Belt Wheel (Pulley) in dark bluish gray behind the propeller to give the motor a better look.
  12. @Murdoch17 Well it definitely looks good, mighty and evil! The perfect modern version of set 5928 Bi-Wing Baron. Just one suggestion: What about using a darker colour for the wing tips and tail than yellow? Perhaps dark bluish gray? Or dark red?
  13. Thank you both! I tried the other propellers today: First photo - the propeller I used first. It's the same which came in sets 5928 Bi-Wing Baron and 5925 Pontoon Plane. Second photo - the three bladed propeller Murdoch17 suggested which came in set 5935 Island Hopper. Third photo - the two bladed propeller which came in set 5948 Desert Expedition. Acutally I prefer the smaller propeller with 5.5 diameter I used first. In my opinion the other two propellers with 9 diameter are too big. They are too mighty for this little plane. Set 60250 also uses a three bladed propeller with 5 diameter. But once again thank you both for your comments!
  14. Well, this is not a set but a paperbag added to the German Lego City Magazine published by "Blue Ocean" publishers. Link to Bricklink: https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?S=952410-1#T=S&O={"iconly":0} Link to Blue Ocean: https://www.blue-ocean-shop.de/de/lego/lego-city/das-magazin/19279/lego-city-70/2024?c=139 Issue 70 was published by end of september 2024 and costs 5,99 Euros. The paperbag includes 21 pieces of which 4 pieces are used for the minifig so 17 pieces are used for the little build and some equipment (mine came with 22 pieces - I got the dark blue legs twice). It's the same female jungle explorer who comes in sets 60425 and 60437. Compared to polybag 30665 which costs 3,99 Euros this paperbag is quite expensive but you pay mainly for the magazine. The magazine includes a comic which tells some lore of the jungle explorers. Fun fact: In the comic Johnny Thunder is depicted as a villian ... As the other sets of the 2024 City Jungle Explorers theme (30665, 60424, 60425, 60426 and 60437) the paperbag contains an animal - a spider and its net (actually I hoped for another baby gorilla). But it's the only set of the 2024 Jungle Explorers line which gives us a treasure, a red crystal (the same as in the old Adventurers' sets), and a machete which is nice. Unlike the terrain builds of the other sets it unfortunately has no clips on its sides. I added one on its left side so it can be attached to the others builds (see second photo). It's a nice paperbag but no must have.
  15. Another small MOC on one of my favourite 10x20 bricks: Achu's jungle throne, guarded by two of his warriors. I hope you like it. As always, comments and critics are welcome!
  16. Thank you very much! Well spotted! Yes, I use these brick built trees in the Dino Island-style in all my Adventurers' MOCs. I like them very much. They look so blocky - just like classic Lego.
  17. Hm, it takes very long for me to load the photos. Is ther a size-issue? I'm not convinced by the legs of the tower. They seem a bit thin? I like the snow coast and the viking with the fishing rod. Nice!
  18. Yes, of course I do. Did you have success? Did you get the gorilla body?
  19. That's an easy one: Each body has two arms so there are twice as much arms than bodies.
  20. Same here in Germany. The gorilla body would be the last part to complete my order ...
  21. @Feuer Zug Star Wars torsos ... very uselful. Thank you very much!
