  1. Thank you for the kind words. I'm glad the Kali colors came through. Thanks! I'm glad the water turned out ok - I was a bit worried especially since I didn't have many other options.
  2. Welp, the Ideas review is out and no medieval sets (much less one of those 3 amazing castles) made it through. The snow white set is being held for further review - so maybe not a total loss. But there were some terrific medieval builds in this round!
  3. I agree on both accounts, @eldiano. The non-figure piece count and selection that set is terrific. At least the Ideas Blacksmith came with a bunch of accessories (and a horse). It'd be easier to accept these less-than-ideal part if we had more than two medieval sets to choose from in the past few years!
  4. Great collection of figs. The warrior wraith is my favorite and the forest ranger is very polished. I like the torso of the chicken farmer. I almost had a Noctunian mushroom farmer as well - your mushrooms are quite exotic! I should do a Nocty build...
  5. First, great poster! Having a simple guild banner in each individual photo is a nice touch too. Overall, NPU in all the accessories! The harp is my favorite by far (though quite illegal) but the broken egg, dragon, pottery merchant pot and wannabe magician explosion are all terrific. p.s. the little triangle table is great technique!
  6. Great vignette! I too like the flag technique. The ground and the stream look perfect.
  7. Great examples of working newer figs into this genre.
  8. I love the trees - they are terrific. The antlers work very well too.
  9. My entry for Category 1: Collectible Minifigures Hired Hands of Historica https://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?/forums/topic/187833-cdc2-cmf-jtooker-hired-hands-of-historica/
  10. Hired Hands of Historica Queens rule and warriors battle, but workers propel Historica forward. These are the hired hands of Historica. I created these minifigures for the Guilds of Historica 2nd count down challenge. There are members from all five guilds as well as Cedrica. Kaliphlin Jaffar the Monkey Trainer The aristocracy of Kaliphlin likes their monkeys trained, might as well collect extra profit while I’m at it Pouri the Attendant Fanning the king is exhausting Sesur-hat the Scribe Drawing one map is fun, a dozen copies is not Varlyrio Drad the Deck Hand After two months at sea, I long for the harsh Wastelands Sofia the Back Stabber If the poisoned apple doesn’t work, the direct approach will Elias the Net Maker Mending nets is better on my back than reeling them in full of fish Mitgardia Thodil the Ice Cutter I don’t know why humans don’t get their own ice, mining it is much easier than mining rock Aðalgeir the Furrier Harsh winters create the best business Gjertrud the Snow Shoveler I’d give half my wage for a sunny day Avalonia Ailmer the Lumberjack 𝅘𝅥𝅮 I’m a lumberjack and I’m ok… Fanes the Farrier My work is all the separates you from the ground Neddi the Gardener If you step on my flowers once, you won’t do it again Nocturnus Mudgul the Miner At least there is no ghastly sunlight down here Ruak the Bone Craftsman I’m the best in the over and underworld Koglodzar the Slave Driver I can’t believe I get paid to do this! Cedrica Esther the Chambermaid You wouldn’t believe what the Queen did last night!
  11. My entry for Category 2: Ancient Wonders: Ancient Lighthouse at Ashkharin https://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?/forums/topic/187821-cdc2-ancient-wonders-lighthouse-at-ashkharin/
  12. Ancient Lighthouse at Ashkharin The Lighthouse at Ashkharin is one of the Ancient Wonders of Historia. Located on the isle of Gorr near what is now known as Stone Town, this lighthouse alerted ships of northern point of the island. Though much of Gorr’s ancient history disappeared with its inhabitants around the time Kaligem was destroyed, this lighthouse lives on in memory due to its enormous size and importance. It stretched 430 feet (130m) over the ocean waves and its fires could be seen for miles away over sea and land. Before its destruction, it was the tallest building in all of Historica.
  13. Wow! This is awesome! I cannot wait to look closer when I have more time.
  14. Fun! The scorpion looks very sleek.
  15. I completely agree with throwing 31120 in too. It has minifigures and basic landscaping pieces as well as some accessories (food and weapons). Horses would be good too. 21325 also has a bunch of nice parts, but more details focused. On the other hand, along with the minifigures, it comes with a horse and cart and a bunch of window pieces.
  16. Awesome scene. I feel bad that the ghost wasn't invited. The floor technique works well here. All the candles are fitting too.
  17. The decorative windows are unique and awesome!
  18. Terrific! The round tower is great - I especially like the lower parts, including the lava moat.
  19. wow! the scale of this is terrific.
  20. Great warriors! The Royal Knight is a great take on classic heraldry. Interesting variety of capes on each non-centaur figure.
  21. Great vignette. The colors are terrific.
  22. Madame Quarrat and Umdurin for sure. Fiona, Don Giullio, Rebecca, Zugal and Sabrina to a lesser extent. You also had 3 'sword characters' but no shields (makes sense with Yffreya - though being able to see her second sword in the image would be better).
  23. Awesome! I wasn't sure what the scale would be (I assumed minifig) and we impressed at this large creature! The arms, rib cage and spin work very well.
  24. Fabulous set of figs! I too like Lunarius the wizard best. All of the figures seem like they fit their location well and the non-guild locations were a good idea. My biggest criticism is the lack of accessories. While I agree accessories should not outshine the figure, they should support the figure and they seem lacking for a few of yours. But some accessories are terrific, especially: K'sirtllhisqr, Pandemonium and Jerome.
