    Are the new sets from those themes sets we haven't seen yet, or just the sets from the winter wave which have already released? Also, Leaf won't be there? Or just isn't mentioned, because it's a new theme?

    Wow, this is awesome! You captured the aesthetic and color scheme of Alpha Team really well! Also the idea itself of having the tower be located over a civilian cafe is really nice!

    Share any nice part usages that you've made in your MOCs, or that you've seen other people make. Have you used any weird or obscure part in a MOC? Or used a part in a completely different way than it's intended use? Post it all here!

    I don't really see how a CG animated series is a replacement for dioramas. They are completely different things. Watching a animated series based on LEGO City isn't really going to inspire me to get creative. But looking at a LEGO City diorama will for sure. I agree with pretty much everything that was said here.

    I really like the color scheme! Orange and Trans Green work together quite well!

    Maybe they removed them because it's a lot easier and cheaper? LEGO has been cutting corners a lot lately, so I wouldn't be surprised if that is the reason.

    A lot of the charm of the old Castle, Pirates and Space sets came from the raised base plates they were built on. They helped increase the size of the set, while at the same time keeping the part count down. But the last time they were used in a set was in 2011, with the Scorpion Pyramid set. In your opinion, should LEGO bring back the raised base plates? Why or why not?

    Why has LEGO been so secretive about this new line? They announced LEGO Trolls and Minions all the way back in June, but they haven't said a word about this line. If it's going to get a Big Bang release as it's rumored, shouldn't we have gotten some sort of teaser for it?

    CCBS elements still continue to show up occasionally in current sets. Like, for example, The Castle of the Forsaken Emperor had a couple of CCBS parts included: As for the Thunder Raider Remake, I don't think they intentionally removed the CCBS, but rather replaced it with regular system parts in order to have better detailing for the legs.

    All those Castle projects sure are great, but I feel like none of them ever go anywhere. I think it would be better if all the Castle fans supported one single project (the one with the biggest chance of being approved) instead of so many.

    Me too! I've waited for like half a year to find out what this theme is, and I just can't wait any longer!

    Well, they wouldn't have been able to properly integrate the AR gimmick if that was the case... And testing the AR was pretty much one of the main reasons they created this line.

    It's a very nice build, but I honestly don't see the appeal in it.

    Well, Hero Factory was actually quite popular... So I don't think they declined in sells after G1 ended, more like after G2 and the Star Wars Ultrabuilds.

    Does anyone around here know what is the best place to contact TLG, or the place where it's most likely to get a reply? I tried using the LEGO.com customer service, but never got a reply. I was thinking about trying to message them on Twitter, since the TLG Twitter account is very active, but I don't think they'll reply to that either. If you've sent any messages to TLG before, did you get any reply? And if you did, what platform did you use to send the message?

    I respectfully disagree with that. The Monster Fighter sets are overall better. For example, compare the MF Ghost Train with the HS Ghost Train. They both retailed for 80$, yet the MF Ghost Train is far more interesting than the HS one.

    I think it's actually more of a substitute for the Upside Down World from Stranger Things.

    The original speculation was that it's going to be a new constraction theme, but now, the speculation seems to be that it's going to be a new Castle or Pirates theme.

    I don't mean everything, I just mean following in general with the new products. Or in other words, having a decent knowledge about what it's currently happening with LEGO.

    What I personally count as a "fan" is someone who actively follows with everything new that is being released. I doubt most kids that buy LEGO do that.
