  1. So, it seems that they just won't give up...
  2. Dino Racers and Hero Knights are looked like awesome concepts! I wonder why those never got made...
  3. The Fair, Buggy and Subway Station are pretty lack luster builds, and the main attraction with them is obviously the minifigures.
  4. What I meant is that for this wave, they seemed to focus their attention more on the minfigures than on the builds of the sets. That's way the sets kinda came as a disappointment to a lot of people.
  5. I think the biggest problem with this wave is the fact that LEGO seems to have invested more money in the minifigures rather than the actual builds of the sets...
  6. Personally, I think this one is a lot better than the Scooby Doo one... so there's that.
  7. Matoro from Bionicle. In the Bionicle story, he sacrificed himself in order to save Mata Nui and his friends, and to this day, his sacrifice is considered one of the pivotal moments of the Bionicle story line.
  8. No, there have been plenty of LEGO Characters that got killed off in the past...
  9. Portal - I like it more than the Ghost Lab, the minifigures are amazing, but not worth 20$ in my opinion. Buggy - Again, amazing minifigures, nice that the buggy has suspention, but not worth 20$. Plane - One of my favorites. Great Minifigs, great pieces, and the plane looks very good. I'll pick it up as soon as I find it at a nice discount. Subway Station - Doesn't really look like a subway station, and the build isn't anything to write home about. An easy pass from me. Lighthouse - Really cool set, but I'll probably only get it if I can find it at a nice discount. Ghost Fair - Not really my cup of tea. And considering the fact that it's supposed to be the flagship of this wave, it's kinda disappointing. Overall, The minifigures are a massive improvement from the last wave, but the sets are more or less the same.
  10. Man... It seems like The Legend of Bionicle is up for some pretty hard competition.... With so many projects to choose from...
  11. The DreamWorks Trolls has nothing to do with the original toys. So LEGO making Trolls sets based on the DreamWorks movie isn't really an homage to the Danish Creator.
  12. That's the thing... those odd licenses take up a lot of LEGO's market space, leaving no room for more classic stuff.
  13. Easily one of my favorite Space Police sets! I've wanted that set ever since it came out, and I still want it to this day. It looks like a very fitting vehicle for a space gang, with it's very villainous mad-max look. The container opening with the laser also seems like a very fun gimmick! Overall, very creative and well designed set, it's easily a 10/10 from me! Next Set:
  14. And Minions too.
  15. So, the rules are simple: Just look at the set that that the user above you has posted and give your quick thoughts along with a final out of ten score. It can be any set, from any year, or any LEGO theme, it doesn't matter. After you gave your thoughts, post the next set for the next user to review. I'll start: Give your thoughts on this set:
  16. That's exactly the same thing I'm hoping for.
  17. No, not really. All faces of those figures looked awful, I don't think Yoda is going to be any exception.
  18. We finally got an official comment on the project from LEGO: The first part of the comment is especially interesting.
  19. Personally I think the HF Planet is more likely to be just be another planet within the Bionicle Universe than just a advanced Spherus Magna. Not to mention, Spherus Magna's inhabitants are bio-mechanical, so them turning into complete robots over time doesn't really make sense. But nice theory.
  20. I just said what my experience has been with the ST's general reception by fans... I didn't state my own opinion (I am neutral on TLJ, by the way). Don't forget though that while Star Wars toys are tanking, Marvel ones are still doing fine at this point.
  21. I made this topic with no intention of getting there. So don't blame me for that. I am on this site to disscuss LEGO, and if the disscussion shifts off-topic, it's not my fault.
  22. Well, it's basically just a Technic set that LEGO could easily make without the help of LEGO Ideas. I would still love to see it approved, though.
  23. Very cool project, but I doubt LEGO would approve it.
  24. But honestly, that's what I like about it. LEGO can take inspiration from other properties, but they still have full creative freedom.
