  1. Hmm maybe in the distant future the human civilization will split into the bigger drivers and the smaller researches, when I look at the 42180...?
  2. Exactly my first thoughts! So cool they implemented it :-)
  3. Gladly, the community will come up with plenty :-P
  4. Hmm this pales in comparison to the 42148... At least a rear ripper could have been attached. Also the red gears stick out too much for my taste.
  5. :D Actually, this is an easy but cool mechanism and the 42164 looks cool, too. In the third function pic on the lower backside, is it just a door or another function?
  6. Thank you so much, @Milan ! My first frontpage
  7. Thanks so much for the praise, guys! Really glad you like it! :-) Here are the internals. The thing is more heavy on the rear due to the battery box. But I had to have a little space for the cable and hoses, so I couldn't place the Hub more forward.
  8. This is a really cool model! Only the price is very high with 80€ retail O_o
  9. Hi guys and gals, here is my new MOC of a John Deere 317G Compact Track Loader in roughly the scale 1:12. I always liked the tracked compact loaders more than the wheeled versions and also liked the linkage system, giving the bucket a more linear up+down movement. But because of this linkage mechanism, I decided against linear actuators for the movement and went with pneumatics instead. The large pneumatic cylinders were a no-brainer for the main arm, but instead of small cylinders for the bucket, I used medium sized ones as I wanted the vehicle to push itself off the ground and had also more range for full tipping when erected. Controlled by a Control+ Hub with 4 L-Motors, it can perform the basic functions of drive (both tracks indipendently), bucket and arm movement via pneumatic switches (auto valve). The pneumatic valves are implemented like steering levers within the cabin. The Hub is easily accessable with two black pins, then the rear can be lifted up. Here is a short video.
  10. The amount of system parts (2 containers and whole interior) is really something special here. I appreciate details made by technic parts with few system elements, but here, they went full on :D
  11. That's really strange indeed. Can you maybe edit your very first post in this thread to link directly to the now leaked model threads?:-) (just my ocd kicking in...)
  12. 3x11 curved panels are used here instead of the 5 wide ones!
  13. Quite nice I must say! THIS! The originality and playfulness of some solution is quite astonishing.
  14. Yeah, seems like they use the kind of a shopping cart self-stabilizing solution with this connector in black for the front wheels?
  15. Hmm good looking, but any mechanical differences to the 42107 Ducati? I don't see em...
  16. It's sad to see such wasted potential. To introduce a new system after only 4 years would is highly unlikely in my opinion.
  17. Hmm kind of underwhelming... at least a gearbox with new elements would be nice. Maybe with Grohls 42154, the era of hollow shell cars ended? But who knows...
  18. You did make a video a year ago about a Powered Up roadmap until 2025 :-P
  19. That is so great! I highly admire you did it in a smaller scale, this seem a perfect pick for this very crane. Fantastic model!
  20. Plz god, no. This would be such a waste... Also with these fenders, only a very limited steering angle would be possible. With many system bricks, it's easy to achieve the rather high number of pieces in this small scale. I get and admire the idea of using same scale as 42136, although the dump trailer doesn't fit. Still I really hoped for a bigger model...
  21. For the current situation the world is in, olive green with armored plates would be more fitting And we already had the 42071 in blue...
  22. Don't give Lego ideas how to promote models! :D Very nice for this micro scale :-)
  23. Will get my hands on this soon. I also wait for the usage of a gearbox and control+ in a "speed set". Strangely, only the 42114 used this system of a 3-speed gearbox. Maybe usage of it in a RC Dakar Rally Truck would be nice :-)
  24. Adding to the comments, you may have a look at this NSX, posted by @Romanista It's from a similar time period and kind of resembles the look. This! The thing is: In a smaller scale you have to drop the gearbox. Next thing is the front mounted engine: In small scale models you can't implement a front diff at all when you want to go with suspension.
  25. Really compact placement of the motors and cool looks :-)
