What I'm hoping for most is a "Life and Times of Scrooge McDuck" Scrooge... ...and maybe some other characters from the wonderful Duck comics by Carl Barks and Don Rosa.

Maybe it's The Bat from TDKR? We've gotten both the Tumbler from Batman Begins and the Batpod from TDK. -

I'm hoping for Wat Tambor, Passel Argente, or another Separatist leader that hasn't been made yet. But at just 20$ I don't think there'll be more than 2 minifigures and possibly a mining droid. -
Lego Licensed Parts available from Bricks & Pieces

Does Lego ever remove parts from BnP that are obviously licensed and were probably unlocked by mistake? I'm not sure if I should buy more Mudtrooper torsos or if it can wait a little longer... -

Isn't it weird that the small sets have between 250 and 298 pieces? It's way more than a single car usually has (150-200), but not enough for two cars (350-400).- 428 replies

Meh... The motor looks pretty good, but apart from that everything seems too bulky and the rims look toy-like. I don't see any chromed or pearl silver pieces either, everything's just gray.- 129 replies

I think the Mae Jemison minifigure can be significantly improved by using the helmet from Benny's Space Squad and the new Sky Police visor:

[MOC] Return of the ADVENTURERS
Graupensuppe replied to Graupensuppe's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Thanks everyone! Since I built this in LDD and the Adventurers prints don't seem to be available I couldn't replicate the original minifigures anyway, so I tried to make everything look a bit more realistic instead. That's why I used some more modern colors such as dark brown, dark green, and flesh. I almost always prefer to use fleshies though - I think it looks more "real" and sometimes vastly improves the overall appearance of a MOC. -
The legendary Lego Adventurers theme ran from 1998 to 2003, encompassing the subthemes Egypt, Jungle, Dino Island, and Orient Expedition. This 503-piece model consists of four vignettes (10x14 studs) depicting Johnny Thunder (Joe Freeman) in Egypt, Dr. Kilroy (Professor Articus) in India, Pippin Reed (Linda Lovely) in the Himalayas, and Lord Sam Sinister (Mr. Hates) in the Amazon rainforest. Also includes several animals, a magnifying glass, a rifle, a ruby, a machete, an ice pick, dynamite, a revolver, a map, Achu's golden headdress, and the mummy of Pharaoh Hotep! https://ideas.lego.com/projects/ecca7b07-4693-4625-92e9-b1a7a5b61d1e I have fond memories of the Adventurers theme and of the old German audio play... Would you like a theme like this to return? And by which names do you know the characters - they had so many over the years?

I really like this set. With its two dementors it's the closest we have gotten to a battle pack in the HP line.

"We reviewed your project submission and unfortunately it refers to a brand or licensed property that doesn’t fit the LEGO Group’s standards for appropriate content or themes. While there might not be anything in your project itself that is against our policy, the brand or licensed property your project refers to contains content or themes that we find inappropriate for a potential LEGO product. We’re afraid that LEGO Ideas cannot accept a project submission based on this brand or licensed property." -
LEGO Ideas Discussion

I'm a little confused right now. A while ago I noticed that there's a fairly popular Stargate Atlantis project. I then submitted a model based on Stargate SG-1, but it was rejected. So I assumed Stargate SG-1 is off-limits but Stargate Atlantis is okay - after all it's less realistic and doesn't have as many references to real-life military stuff as SG-1. So I submitted an Atlantis-themed model instead (here's a picture - no realistic weapons or camouflage uniforms or anything). But it was rejected as well, asserting that there's not really anything in it that's against the rules but that the entire license or brand is inappropriate. At about the same time a second Stargate Atlantis project was approved though! I asked them about this via email, hoping I could still get my project approved (although I was worried it might just lead to the other two projects getting removed). But nothing happened at all. I asked for clarification before, when another one of my projects was rejected, and I quickly got a response back then. This time however I did not get any reply. So, what should I do? -
Well, thats extremely disappointing. Not even snoopy caps. Are there any existing flesh heads that look like Armstrong and Aldrin?

Another picture of the box of the Lunar Module has appeared on Instagram, but it still doesn't seem to show the faces of the minifigures. I really hope they have flesh-colored heads...

Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's is an anime that first aired from 2008 to 2011 and that I find fascinating to this day - especially due to its futuristic settings. The postapocalyptic island of Satellite - full of scrap heaps and heavy industry - and the seemingly utopian, hypermodern Neo Domino City are strictly separated from each other. Yusei Fudo escapes from Satellite and follows his rival Jack Atlas, with whom he has a score to settle, to the City. Here, Jack has become the champion of Riding Duels, a popular and exciting spectator sport that combines motorcycle racing, a card game, and spectacular holographic projections. In Neo Domino City Yusei also comes across Aki Izayoi, a girl with psychic powers; the twins Lua and Luca; and Rex Godwin, the city's not-so-secret ruler. And he learns that they all are part of a millennia-old mystery that involves the Nazca lines, an ancient cult, and legendary dragons. This 589-piece model in the style of an Architecture Skyline set includes Satellite, the unfinished Daidalos Bridge, the Riding Duel Circuit, Jack Atlas' skyscraper penthouse, the Public Security Maintenance Bureau building, a highway, the Kaiba Corporation headquarters, and additional high-rise buildings in the background. Also includes the Crimson Dragon, the spider geoglyph, and minifigures of Yusei and Jack! I've also submitted this on Ideas today, so if you are a fan of Yu-Gi-Oh or the Architecture Skyline series please consider voting for it!

Then why not release them all? Each of them already got ten thousand votes... None of these projects seem particularly exciting to me though. The modular western buildings, now that would have been something!
