  1. The AAT has a length of 9 or 10 meters. The size of the 2009 set seemed spot-on to me.
  2. Unfortunately I found no Lego piece that could be used as a lemon...
  3. A nice and compact 380-piece minifigure-scale Stargate model. After three or four tries I was also able to submit this on Ideas: https://ideas.lego.com/projects/0015b8e7-7138-4f39-9d78-eae467fcc3d2
  4. The choice of minifigures seems disappointing to me. No masked OotP Death Eaters, no OotP Dementors, no HBP Dumbledore, no McGonnagall in her black outfit, no Thestrals, no young Tom Riddle.
  5. According to polls on stonewars.de and zusammengebaut.com, about 50% voted for the Nebulon B, 35% for the Gunship, and 15% for the TIE. But I don't know how representative these results are.
  6. UCS sets can be minifigure scale too. I'd love to see a gunship that's studless and more accurately shaped than the playsets, uses more advanced building techniques, and comes with a stand. But it doesn't need to be much bigger than 7676.
  7. IMO they could use the same face for the clone troopers forever - it just needs to actually look like a Fett clone's face and have a darker skin color and a more generic expression. For the Imperial and First Order troopers they should simply use any generic male faces that are currently in production anyway.
  8. I wonder if this is going to be an architecture-focused set like the Tower Bridge, or if they're going to bring these back
  9. Apparently he's selling weapons and fish... but no cabbages.
  10. I don't mind stickers at all - if they are good quality. But the ones Lego uses tend to self-destruct after as little as two years, and that really isn't acceptable, especially if a set costs several hundred Euros.
  11. I wish the "movie Lloyd" and/or the "old Luke" hairpiece existed in regular reddish brown... That would make it possible to kitbash a way more accurate episode 3 Anakin.
  12. I wonder how well this will sell outside the US. I remember the German version of Sesame Street looking completely different for example, and I think other countries had their own versions as well.
  13. It doesn't have the special A with the circle, it's a different font, and it doesn't even say "Stargate"... There are so many projects that closely imitate official logos in some way. I think this font works well, I really don't want to change it to Comic Sans just to make it look completely different...
  14. SGA seems much less realistic in its depiction of the military to me. Just compare the uniforms to those from SG1... But as Bra'tac said: We will cross that bridge when we come to it! SGA is on the list of allowed licenses now, so I'd just like to get my project approved and see if there's any interest. But I really don't know what kind of third-party content there is to remove.
  15. Isn't there any way to contact the Ideas team? My Stargate Atlantis project was rejected twice more, and I don't know how I can get them to tell me why. First it was rejected a few months ago because they deemed the brand/license inappropriate. Now that Stargate Atlantis is officially on the list of permitted licenses I submitted it again, yet it was rejected due to including "third-party images or artwork, e. g. fonts". I removed some details that may have looked too similar to an official logo and resubmitted the project, but it was rejected again stating I hadn't made the required changes. Since it's now literally just my Lego model plus a few words (written in some common pre-installed font), I have no idea what else I'm supposed to remove. But as usual there has been no reaction to my email inquiry yet.
  16. "Stargate" is not allowed, yet "Stargate Atlantis" is, and the much more well-known "Stargate SG-1" isn't listed at all. Weird. Well, I just resubmitted my Stargate Atlantis project, maybe they'll approve it this time...
  17. I've made some improvements to the model. The four booster stages are now removable, and I reduced the diameter of the core stage where the boosters are attached. Nevertheless the entire model should be more stable. Furthermore, I've designed an alternate stand that holds the model horizontally. https://ideas.lego.com/projects/0630bb23-59e5-4eb4-8ba0-a1c88c5e8602/updates
  18. That's probably the Skyhopper pilot from the 75265 Bantha vs. Skyhopper Microfighter set. And I guess Anakin's and Obi-Wan's heads confirm that 75269 is a Mustafar set.
  19. A hoodless OotP/DH2 Dementor can be kitbashed using the 2010 and 2018 version plus dark gray hands. He'd probably look better with a longer, more tattered cape and dual molded (black/dark gray) arms though.
  20. As a fan of Duck and Mouse comics I've always wanted a Lego Disney theme, but I find the sets and CMFs we eventually got these past few years quite disappointing. Okay, the castle wasn't that bad because at least it included all those movie references. But this set only looks like advertising to me. They could have utilized the actual stories and characters - especially those from the comic book branch that haven't really been touched on at all so far. But instead they merely depicted Disneyland and its bland "costumed mascot" versions of Mickey and co again.
  21. I love the GoF Death Eater minifigure. With a torch he looks even more menacing:
  22. They also say it has 3306 pieces and comes in a 58,2 x 38,8 x 16,1 cm box.
  23. I've made an illustrated wishlist... 1. Donald Duck (Carl Barks comic version - black sailor suit, longer bill) 2. Scrooge McDuck (original Carl Barks comic version - red frock coat, less deformed head) 3. José Carioca (from "The Three Caballeros" and the Brazilian comics) 4. Scrooge McDuck (Don Rosa comic version from "The Life and Times of Scrooge McDuck") 5. Mickey Mouse (Italian comic version with shirt and long pants) 6. Gyro Gearloose (original Carl Barks comic version) 7. Duck Avenger (from the Italian "Paperinik New Adventures" comics)
  24. We've already got these two recently I'm pretty sure there is no accurate TDK / TDKR Batman minifigure yet, except for the Comic Con exclusive. The 2008 one and the one from the Bat vs. Tumbler set were gray instead of black, and the one that came with the UCS Tumbler was from Batman Begins.
