  1. That door is great! Good work alll around.
  2. You surely belong to the North! Welcome in Historica.
  3. I loved that entry with the pineapple in it.
  4. You mean like in one specific Adam Sandler film? I really love your stories about Guy and his uncle always showing up uninvited. There's something Scrooge McDuck about him. Love your humour. Also hilarious inclusion of the pineapple. Good luck for the voting. Really hope that you get the second place. Wait- there's no second place? Too bad :P
  5. And the last entry for Mardier [The l'Olius Case] A Hero Harassed - Part II - Discovery
  6. In King's Port, two unlucky sailors of the former Eslandolan ship Queen of Terreli spend their miresable lifes being arrested in the harbour prison. Not that those two sailors were being cought while defending their ship against L'olius. Their defense was more about the ship's galley, and in this case defending means "hiding". But perhaps their misery will find an end by a mysterious hooded person on a highly classified mission appears... Hey, you! You two! Poor souls sitting in this reeking lock-up. What if I told you there's a way out of this pit? There is a way, right there. The door, sir. Shut up, you pillock! He sure knows what a door is. That was a rhetological question! Aye, sir, we would do anything, I would do anything to get off of this morron. Excellent. I hold the key to your liberty, and by key I mean literally the key for that door. There's only one small little thing I want you to do. You most certainly have heard -even in your current dwelling- that the trial against L'Olius hast began. I want you to go to the courthouse, break into the chamber of evidences and replace L'Olius letter of marque by this one. It is an almost perfect forgery- almost. Just false enough for the judges to detect, hehehe... Fine. Is marc a friend of L'olius? What? No! It is mar-que, the letter is signed by the governor of Terraversa. I'm pretty sure the governor's name isn't marquez. More like- Let it go! Ok? Just listen. It doesn't matter, the only thing you guys have to do is finding the letter that looks exactly like this one and swap them. "To Enrique d'escondido, most loyal servant of the Eslandolan Trade Company known as-" Be quiet, for Hera's mercy! That was the wrong letter, give it back! So you're Enrique and working for- Stop talking you morron! My name is classified! Forget about that, take the goddamn key and go swap the letter, will you? No worries Senor classified. The job's as good as done. Later, in the chamber of evidences... 'aight. There like a thousand letters! Where do we start searching. May it's that one, under the pineapple on top of this ridiculous high stacked up pile of evidences. And why should it be exactly this special single letter on top of that ridiculous high stacked pile of evidences, you jerk? 'don't know. But if you search things, better first look at places where you look at last. 'Cause things you're searching for are always at the place you look at last. Ehhh...yeah, makes sense..I guess. Aight, climb up and check it. Aye, boss. What d'you think why there's a pineapple? Because it's an evidence, idiot! Now hurry and get your bricks up there! The Mardier scum ain't be far off. And indeed, on the floor right outside of this very chamber two Mardierans meet each other... Wait! Who's there? A friend to this ground, and liegeman to the Mardierans. Welcome, good Horatio! Holla, Marcellus! Have you had quiet guard? Not a mouse stirring. Say, good friend, what's thy business at my watch? 'Tis a letter that hath lain long now in this chamber, under thy diligent eyes. Ouch! Damnit bloody pineapple! Methinks I heareth a yond clamour. 'Tmust come from the Evidence's room! Something's rotten in the state of Mardier. Stay, scoundrel, speak: what is thy matter with this pineapple? I've got the letter! But it's not from marquez, boss. Maybe next one. _______________________________________________________________________ And the whole build:
  7. Great scene! That roof features an amazing texture. Really love that part. But also the interior of the forge is great with all the details. And I like how you did avoid any pearl gold inside so the single golden cutlass is perfectly fleshed out. Good job.
  8. Hahaha, great thanks! I'll keep in mind the dinosaur thing. And of course being polite to children.
  9. That gave me a good laugh! Of course not because of the violence but for the film reference. Now I understand what you meant with witchcraft.
  10. How rude! So much violence, love it! The action is superb, all those fighting figures aqesome how you depicted the natives collecting heads. And the build itself is an impressive setting. The hut is fantastically built, especially the roof. And I love the mast as lookout post.
  11. Damn I really finally need some of those olive grass pieces! I really like the scene! You get me with everything that's in somw way from AoE. Aye, the green trunks are a bit strange, but I guess you just didn't have those hose pieces in brown so it's ok. The tree design itself is great. You really can imagine a whole forest of these with game walking through it. I find the brown soil funny where the trees are already cut off because that's the thing that reminds me the most of AoE. Am I the only one who always builds fields on the forrest texture and erases them to have grass texture?
  12. I too can confirm that a really awesome price arrived yesterday Love that vulture! Congrats Exetrius and cheers for that brickbuilt pencil box!
  13. Beautiful! The caribbean spirithere totally fits my taste. The angle of the beach is superb..and those waves are incredible. Didn't thought such was possible in LDD. Great work!
  14. I like this one the most of all your ships so far. Especially the aft castle is nicely done and makes it stand out in the whole BoBS fleet
  15. Haha I get it. How dare you to type the bad mm word! Now I'm going to wash my eyes.
  16. Just one thing.. since when is megablocks such a popular swearword. I feel like not being hip anymore

  18. Log Entry, Benjamin Morgan, Isla del Diablo Slowly we made our way through the dense scrub, Fighting for every step against the vegetation. Or was it the island itself trying to keep invaders away? The soil for once was indeed fertile, as the rumours had promised. Not far away from our landing point we found the shiniest red chili peppers we had seen so far in the new world. Some unexpierenced crew members took it for a decent meal. One may blame us for not warning them. But at least we couldmost assuredly say that this indeed was the isle of the devil...

  20. Colony Name: Moray's Den Ownership: Sea Rats Location: Isla del Diablo (Sea of Thieves) Island Description: Located southeast of the Nest of Thieves, Isla del Diablo is named for the large bay and small peninsulas that, once a map way drawn, resembled nothing so much as the horns of a monster. The bay, however, provides an almost perfect natural harbor and a well defensible position. Unsurprisingly the island has already started to draw settlers, although some are scared away by talk of cannibals... 21. Log Entry, Captain Benjamin Morgan I heard word in several pubs and taverns in Bastion, that latewards a mysterious island had been discovered south of the Nest. Rumour had it that this barely explored isle was covered with dense jungle, hiding ghastly things in its deeps. Tales of a wild people came to our ears, men who used to serve any stranger who entered the land of their gods- either boiled or raw. But there were also rumours of large banana trees, countless springs of fresh water, fertile soil and forests filled with more game than any man could ever hunt down. Surprisingly none of the aspiring empires had claimed the land so far. We soon came to the decision that the promises of this island were too tempting to not risk an expedition. Too late to abort the journey, at the pier we heard the name that was given to it. Isla del Diablo, Devil's Island. Unimpressed by the gossip of the sailors we set sail to unknown shores. The sea was calm and the winds in our favour, and after one night and one day, Isla del Diablo came in sight. Although we could see the entrance to the large bay, that had recently be named "Bay of Horns", I gave order to surround the island in the hope that we would find a yet undiscovered part of the coast that was eligible for going ashore. I was in no way eager after joining the settlers that had already arrived in the bay; too soon it would be confined and cramped and well known to every man east of Terraversa. We eventually found a small beach area in the middle of a long cliff that appeared to frame nearly all of the eastern shore. The dense jungle was perilously leaning above the cliffs, blaring out a silent threat against every intruder. Dim scrub came down to the beach reaching almost to the calm billows touching the sand. Now it was time to release the first settlers into their uncertain fate. Even if it would emerge that this paradise really was the purgatory on our continuous way to Hades, we could at least feed on them...
  22. That's a typical Braunsfeld! Amusing, lovely and full of creativity. Just reading the title gave me a laugh and a slight feel of what I would look at. Love your choice of faces for this. And of course there's a banana!
  23. Isn't this the pirates forum? So technically, we are all pirates. Even those who do only red/blue coat ships.
  24. It's of course up to the leaders to decide if they want to risk a war by supporting criminals in their own ranks. Bounty should come from the factons. If Eslandola (or a single trading company) wants a pirates head they have to pay.
  25. Bounty hunter mission sounds great. That way we could bring individual players to justice instead of threaten a whole faction. That would end this whole discussion. Sea rats could try to attack the Eslandolans who captured the 5A and great scott, Eslandolans could try to catch the sea rats who tried to raid bardo. And since there's a bounter, players of all faction should be allowed to go on that hunt. Maybe we could do some sort of announcement thread where the current bounty hangs out (also a good idea for all minichallenges, instead of only posting them in a settlement thread). Every player would have to decide if he risks a fight against the accused player. I don't think that there would be a large number of bounty hunters from the start. I guess there could be a special predatotr raid function function to only attack player with a bounty on their head.
