Greart that you are back! Your story becomes a bit complicated with different Narbilus. But that's not a bad thing! I will take time and reread all the chapter since the civil war.

Impressive battle. Though I don't know how likely such a encounter between Avalonia and Kaliphlin would be at the moment. But of course it can be a historical battle scene. I would love a shot of the infantry running into each other.

Great tower. The half timbered structures are a great addition. And good tree.

Haha, great that someone accepted the challenge. Great scene, your figures are great. I really need some of those pumpkins.

AoM: Storehouse: Phase 3: Daydelon Storehouse
Jacob Nion replied to soccerkid6's topic in Guilds of Historica
Great architecture! It really looks like a viking longhouse embedded in the snow. And even with interior. Mitgardia will have to make more AoM categories soon, looking at the speed at which you are covering them.- 31 replies

Your story gets better and better. And also your builds. That house has some nice details like the slopes at the base and the round window with the skull. Great job!

AoM Gatehouse phase 1 : Stroggilofanaro Gatehouse
Jacob Nion replied to Gunman's topic in Guilds of Historica
I love how you use those wedge slopes and arches all over again. That gives your architecture something very unique. Like the typical round entrances. Great work! -
I'm glad you are back. And as always with a stunning work. This obviously was fun to build, and it's also fun looking at it. The castle is embedded greatly in the landscape. All too often it seems that the rocks surrounding a castle are built after the structures, but this just looks so naturally. And the irregular base is excellent too.

Above the clouds - the great merchant's lift of Sultan's Gate
Jacob Nion replied to Gabe's topic in Guilds of Historica
Hahaha this is insane! How can you build something like this without posting it for two year? My only complain is that you denied to present it earlier. What a wonderful idea to build something above thd clouds. That lion head is a masterpiece, and so is of course the whole build. Love it!- 39 replies

Guarded Treasure: Chest of the Wailing Banshee
Jacob Nion replied to Mike S's topic in Guilds of Historica
Great to see the banshee figure used in such a good way. The colours and landscaping are well chosen for her. Really atmospheric build. -
It always surprises me how well the different leaf colours come together in your builds. You're really giving those islands something unique that way. And the archutectural style fits well too.

That is one awesome story. I imagine Ben Stiller telling it in the storage room of a music store. Totally rocking Nocturnus style of stuff happening.

A falcon as far as I remember ;) loved those sets as a kid. Gabe pretty much said everything you could improve, so there's nothing I can do than confirm that. But I like all the details, especially the interior.

The wall won't be high enough! Yeez, so much action going on. I really love the army storming the wall. Great sense for minifigure posing here.

That was your whole plan! Keeping me busy with BoBS so you could secretly sneak back to the guilds and annoy the Desert King with your castles. Haha, good work. Medium dark flesh really is the right colour for Kaliphlin, and I'm impressed how much you've collected so far. Would love to see a complete castle in this style.

The Katoren Struggle: Ch. 2: Bandit Camp at Kharab Fortress
Jacob Nion replied to LittleJohn's topic in Guilds of Historica
That's beautiful! The way the ruins are withered and covered with vegetation creates such an atmosphere. And all the wonderful details inside make it so believable. Now I have to read the story!- 25 replies

Even if it's located in Avalonia, one cannot deny the Mitgardian influence in the architecture. Again fantastic work from you- as always!

I like it! It's simple, but well built. And it's a nice touch since we normally only see large town gates. And of course not every village and hamlet does have a majestic gate tower.

Great wall texture! And lovely mosaic. As a throne room is supposed to impress visitors, I can say you did well! Also cheers for the well written story!

AoM: Barracks phase 1: Training in the snow
Jacob Nion replied to dathil's topic in Guilds of Historica
It works, even if I'm unsure about grass being covered with snow this way. Green maybs would have been more realistic, some lonely plants lurking out of the snow. But I like the tree a lot. -
Wow, when I read tower I wasn't expecting this! Impressive structures! I will love to see the city completed.
-
Wonderful! You are one of those people I loved to watch them increasing their building skill over the time. And now you really mastered the professional stuff. Really good work.
