  1. Lovely... If that was ever released, I could see that as an instant success... Your ship is very true to the film... I have never taken the time to understand how to log on Lego idea, but this may be the first project I would support.

  3. Great Review for a very neat set. The quality of your pictures is outstanding. I could not agree more with your score at the end. At first I thought it was a bit harsh but then, after reading your comments, it makes sense.
  4. This is so great, I want to have a color palette in a long time but could not figure out how to do it. Your model seems to be the best I have seen yet. I was just thinking about using a white background though, instead of black. Is there a specific reason you used a black background?

Your reviews are a delight to all of us and I hope that their quality does not scare people but rather inspire them. This tells it all... At a point in time, I remember people were doing their uttermost to ensure their review was the first. It came to the point that some people were risking to make incomplete reviews. I hope that this thread will revive the interest of many in making reviews. It seems to have been an eye-opener to some, including me.
  6. thatt, thanks for the review. It has been a while that I wanted to see reviews about these infamous timecruiser sets. Seeing your review, it made me like them somehow. This set is quite different than what you'd normally see and I think it forces the imagination. Also, I am not sure that in the 90s sets had such moving mechanism. Out of curiosity, was there a particular reason for you to look specifically for this set?
  7. This MOC definitely deserve all its praise. It is so elegant. I would really try my hands at doing a similar one but will certainly fail in doing it as nice as that one. Would you per any chance show how the boat looks from underneath?
  8. Great! thanks for the review!!!! You covered all I wanted to see. I would be curious to see how it relates to the movie and if indeed the "hulk buster" is disproportionate. It looks nonetheless great to play with. I do not know how to rotate the pictures but may suggest for the future that you try to make the pictures slightly bigger and try, if possible, to use a white background.
  9. Thanks Nori for a great review. The quality of the pictures is fantastic. As another poster mentioned, I particularly like the comparison of the figures to older version. This shows how much Lego evolved. I guess the box design is a matter of taste because it did not strike me as ugly. Anyway it is its content that matter the most. Thanks again.
  10. Agree 100%, and this is why I would like to see more reviews. As "Breakdown" mentioned, it is our role as reader to encourage the poster who took the time making the review. It is true that I often looked at a review without commenting which is somewhat selfish towards the person who took the time to review a set.

  13. Hi everyone, I don't know if it is an impression, but I have the feeling that there are much less reviews done on Eurobricks than a couple years ago. I have to admit that I am in a bad position to point that as I have never done a review. I am however wondering what is the reason for not seeing as many reviews than before?

  17. This is so impressive. I did not know it was possible to make videos like this in such a perfect way. I do not think I will be able to afford this set but having seen this video is like if I partially build it. Hopefully, you'll do some additional videos.

  21. It looks like the debate has shifted from the key concern raised by Jodawill. The issue is not to determine whether the amount Lego charges for baseplates is correct or not but that the reviews on the Lego website are tweaked. I find this concerning and would have expected Lego to be open to criticism. I am quite disappointed to see that they are not.
  22. It has been a while nothing new has come out in the PAB. If I am not mistaken, they should change their selection very soon? I d be curious to hear if anyone has seen something interesting? I went to a Lego store today (Bluewater) and came out empty handed... the PAB wall was half empty and what was left was fairly uninteresting besides black headlights.

  24. Interesting to see fusion coming on several occasions as the worst theme. I am wondering what was up with these sets as I could remember only seeing the press release, but have not seen any sets physically nor do they appear on the lego UK site. Reviews seem to have been made by non lego sites and all have in common the fact that it did not work. Looking at bricklink, it seems no inventory has even been made. I am wondering if they disappeared as fast as they came and that by keeping it quiet Lego admitted they failed on that one.
