  1. I like everything about this MOC, especially the smoothness of the rocks. Everything fits perfectly.
  2. Not even a tie in my case... Ecto-1 was the best set of all. I would even dare to say that it was one of Lego's best set ever :)
  3. I like it! I always wanted to do an arabic themed build. If it was the case, I would be inspired by the new technique you came with... Amazing job!
  4. This is beautiful. The proportions are just right.
  5. Great MoC. It is good that you have not omitted to work the interior of your buildings. I also like the technique used on the door of the green building.
  6. Captain, this is my favorite MOC of yours. I particularly like the color contrast of the plants. You also always prove to be very creative. May I suggest for future builds to try to build things at different angles, unless this was intentional? It may give another dimension to your MOCs.
  7. Very funny. Love it! I also like a lot your water technique.
  8. You got me curious with thee message above. Thanks for having looked at my questions. I am off to Angola this week. Perhaps, i ll get some inspiration to make my moc cruel...
  9. Thanks for the pictures. Hopefully these bricks will hit the UK as they are super interesting!
  10. Thanks a lot for looking at it. Another question, is there a rationale for closing the contest on a Friday? This is relatively annoying as I can mostly build on weekend. I am nonetheless super happy about this contest as it is a great way to reinvigorate the pirate theme.
  11. Awesome... i really laughed. This is a perfect entry
  12. Hello Phred, If I can manage to meet the deadline, I will include my next build in this competition. I was wondering if you would consider pictures as the following as 1 picture: 6. Fort Portugal Details This is quite useful to show some details or play features.
  13. Some could argue that the tower of Orthanc was a castle theme set targeted to adults... I am however joining those whose opinion is that we need a set targeted to adults which has the classic vibe...
  14. So great, I am travelling back home tomorrow and I am really looking forward to reading it on my way. The magazine gets better with each issue.
  15. Guys, this is really cool. I can see each ones' styles which each contribute to this amazing MFC (My Family Creation). Please do more of these.
  16. This is the kind of building I love. The color scheme is just about perfect. It would indeed be a great project for Lego Idea and you got my support!
  17. The Pier I build made the news in Brighton. It is the first time I make the news for a Lego-related thing which is really cool . For those who want to read the article can be found there: http://www.theargus.co.uk/news/13494107.The_2_500_Lego_pieces_that_built_Palace_Pier/
  18. Thanks all for your comments... The sign was indeed particularly challenging to build and it took me a lot of patience and several tries... It was actually improved on each tries. I am so glad you notice this. It is indeed not a straight build. I had to keep my math right. but made a minor mistake which explains the gap near the pilars.
  19. I am glad I stumbled accross this build of yours as each of your MOC are so creative.... This one is particularly funny though.
  20. This build is stunning!!!! I had never seen the ice cream cone used for architectural details and this works perfectly. It must have been challenging to make that curve in the building... Amazing!
  21. Hi Guys, I am glad to post something which belongs into this forum. I have recently build a portion of the Brighton Pier in Lego. I thought it would be interresting to try my hands at an actual building for once. Hope you like it! Side View: For those of you who are interrested to know how the building holds together, here is the back view: Last pic:
  22. I guess we can all agree that each brick created could have some use or improve the design of a creation one way or the other. However, the frustration may come from the fact that some pieces are not as useful as some bricks that we’d like to see (I am thinking about a plate with studs on both sides). But this is another debate.
  23. I can think of Brick 1x1x3 Or Brick 1x2x2 I think that for both of the above case simple bricks stacked over each other can do the job...
  24. This is huge and really cool!. Wonder how you'll fill in the rooms. Any idea yet?
