  1. Take the wedo battery box with the medium wedo motor plugged in for plug clearance ... You will have to add a brick to get the right height ... The powered up us exactly the same dimensions as the PF non rechargeable box. However the top is just studs as there is no pf cable connection anymore
  2. If you use the new PU you can make a custom controller in the API that applies different power to the separate motors at one button push.
  3. @Faladrin any update of the video?
  4. Pm me your email I will send you the file!
  5. @Wellesley Thanks for the rigging pics ... I've heard others tie the one end then wrap the rat around the shroud then tie the other side. With it tucked through is it easier to tie the trailing shroud? @Masked Mini Looking good ... Thanks for the step by step ... One of these days I will get around to this technique lol. @SilentWolf Looking good ... Is the horse helmet attached or just resting in place?
  6. Thanks! The croc was rather a pain as it's an optic illusion. It is submerged and the water does go as close as I can get it but if you look from a different angle the effect is not great lol. If you've ever been in the swamp it's a very lonely feeling but always very calm ... I'm glad I was able to capture that feeling. Thanks! Glad the trees are well received. The story should unfold over the course of this year. Thank you! It's been a technic I remember classic Lego used to use on some of the jungle/pirate sets but obviously to an extreme to give the feel of the Spanish moss. The boat is actually submerged slightly since loaded with two heavy chests. The "wake" is actually a necessity to cover the gap. There was a super complicated jig created to achieve this. In RL you would just set the tiles in place lol Glad it's still liked! I know it's been in the PM thread for some time now. You know the story is open to any Black Flag Sea Rats don't be afraid ... Perhaps your Captain wishes to hide his treasure on Phoenix Roust or search for the mythical mermaid on Mermaid Tears. Glad it shows!
  7. Love it! What is holding the claw piece over the dome above the light? PS if you don't tell people it's a plate off they will never know. And stud counters can kick rocks cause it's looks great! PPS zehper has ladders available that look a little better scale wise than the rod and 2l half beams.
  8. So smaller and more discreet. I've back burnered this several times since telling you challenge accepted lol however I've done it. How it works: There are two floating gears either side of the inside rails - these connect to the same bevel gear which is on a central axle that runs both sides of the hopper gears together. Depending on direction of travel and which gear rack tile it passes first depends on if the car tips or rights itself.
  9. The mysterious stranger had stayed on the Atoll after Discovering the City twich Can't Be Found unlest Yee know ware to look. While the men made camp on the Island known as Shipwreck Cove the stranger took a launch and ordered it rowed to the nearby Island known as Mermaid Tears. It was know that this was the most swampy and dangerous. Legend had it that there were several mermaid holes with in her shores. As the launch neared it's destination it was clear that this chain of islands was no new discovery for the stranger. It was also clear by the dilapidated smuggler's shack that they we're not the first to make camp here. Comments welcomed!
  10. Time will tell if one of the greatest pirate settlements besides Bastion will become civilized or will fall back into the depths of the underbelly.
  11. Beware her stern chasers!
  12. I was looking more at this photo. The darker colors against the lighter second floor make it appear squashed. I think a "buffer" row of bricks would ease the transition. Most first floors in older buildings were 14' with second floor being 10-12'. Decreasing the second is not the solution as then it would look too pressed. If you didn't want to add a full row if brick you could add two grey plate rows to the base to give idea of foundation then a third plate to the either of the stripes near the top of the first floor. I'm not bashing you at all as this is a brilliant build. It's just something I noticed that if I were "buying" this I would modify.
  13. @Berthil I agree with Nacho the ground floor needs one more row of bricks before the second floor starts.
  14. Thank you If you didn't pick up on this the water is snotted trans brick. It's really a stunning effect in real brick as well ... I seen it in a forced perspective moc and wanted to try myself
  15. Love the underwater! Any chance to get a better lit shot?
  16. Thanks! There are orange and yellow under the water ... There is also dark and light grey under the water to simulate the reflection of the clouds and and depth to the water. There is trans yellow, trans orange at the waters edge ... I originally tried with just it under and didn't like the effect. Also tried pinks and purple's but did not like the way it looked at this scale. Consider this chapter 1 if this story line.
  17. Out of the Ashes -Roadmonkeytj To hell (and back?) -Keymonus Meanwhile in Acropolis -Keymonus Devastation of Charlatan Bay -Roadmonkeytj Waiting in the wasteland -Keymonus Those Damned Cannons -Keymonus Restoring Order to Chaos -Roadmonkeytj Relief Mission - Gedren_y The road towards peace - Keymonus The town over the cliffs - Keymonus The Battle for Lowtown - Keymonus Civilization is Returning - Roadmonkeytj Fire and blood! - Keymonus Time to Go Home - Keymonus (A reflection back on the end of December 619 Infero Pordejon, Charlatan Bay) The fight for Charlatan Bay seemed to be at an end now ... Almost a year of skirmishes and battles in the streets. The fighting was not like that any colonial army had ever seen. There was no presenting arms there was no formations waiting to open fire. The men of Charlatan Bay were not void of fighting experience even though nariey any of them had never trained in an Army. The Men of Charlatan Bay knew one thing and they knew it well ... boarding. Because of this there were no battle fields there was only the unexpected. The Skirmishes that took place were bloody as men would lie in wait for the Malitia to make it's advance. Suddenly a lone cry of attack would break the still air, followed by a team of screaming as men armed with pistols, muskets, axes, or spiked clubs would pour out of alleyways, from behind closed doors, emerge from piles of hay, or simply seem to just manifest from thin air. Those that weren't killed or severely wounded would disappear as quickly as they appeared when the call to retreat was given. All of this was still circulating in Gustaf's head when he joined Tristan's men at the Docks. (Photo credit to Keymonus) It was easy for Gustaf to slip away for a moment and pen a letter in Honest Bob's. The harder part was to get a messenger to deliver it to Tristan after it was too late to tack back around. Luckily there was enough commotion at the Docks and a messenger was obtained without notice. (Photo credit to Keymonus) With that task done Gustaf rejoined Tristan and finished seeing the long boats off. Once the sails were unfurled Gustaf retired to the Governor's House on the edge of Hightown overlooking the Bay where he would watch the ship make it's way around the North Point and on it's way to Acropolis. Once Tristan had been well under way and the settlement had slipped out of the range of the sextant a cabin boy presented Tristan with a letter bearing Gustaf's seal. Tristan, It is with a deep saddness that I must watch your masts fade away on the horizon. It has been a fond journey fighting along side you once again. The New Malitia is quite a feat for this settlement. Citizens protecting fellow citizens is a monumental accomplishment in this city of the underbelly. My joy however is quinched with the fear that this new found peace will not last. As the Nights have grown longer as the seasons have changed I find myself overhearing whispers in the shadows and alleyways. They talk of the remaining street gangs staging to divide low town again after ”the regulars” depart from this place. It's as if your trained men hold some sort of power over them that the newly trained Malitia does not. It's as if they feel they can turn the Malitia to their cause again. I fear for this fragile balance that those men that choose to stay hold. I fear how quickly it will all unravel once the public opinion sways. Please don't be frustrated that I didn't share this in person. I know how you are ... You would have stayed and continued this fight with me. Alas my friend I recognize your need to conduct your affairs. This is why I only tell you in this letter. I could not bear it on my heart to hear of you swinging from a gallows as a traitor to your duties because you chose to stay and fight! I know you feel a personal responsibility for this fight but I believe it is time to involve your Superiors. I believe a well trained Malitia will only carry us so far. I have drawn plans for construction of barracks and training grounds in front of the low wall of the fort. Perhaps you could pass word that the new Govenor of Charlatan Bay is willing to put up toops and ships in the Harbor to help support the new order of the Bay. Good luck with your endevors and I eagerly await for news of your response. Your good Friend Gustaf VonBricktin Govenor of Charlatan Bay ______________ What does this mean for Charlatan Bay? Gustaf has been Promoted to Govenor of Charlatan Bay. New Construction is underway. The fighting is Quelled for now. All that is left is to wait and see. comments welcome!
  18. Thanks for sharing
  19. Slightly yes but you can set price limit filters in BL ... Last time I cought 236 for .02 cents a brick. Only true purists will frown upon them ... As long as your keeping with the "spirit of Lego" it will be accepted. Custom stickers can make a MOC Pop. I doubt that they ever do but I agree with your thought process however if you use a 1x1 modified brick with two studs on the corner you can apply tiles and get a very effective corner treatment as seen in this wip shot of my interlock tower
  20. Both of you need to contact Lego customer service ... The will send new stickers
  21. I love this what is the roof ... Fabuland or duplo Also how do you make the rear tires
  22. Is it possible to get a break down of your rod and piston arrangement ... I'm really intrigued looking again at the photos?
  23. Thank you! For the life of me I couldn't figure it out ... Now seeing it I can't believe it's so simple
