  1. From the sets that were never released ... Now the Armada flag ship has a destination!
  2. The sails and rigging are quite impressive ...do you have plans to revisit once your collection grows?
  3. I both love and hate it all at once ... Well done ...while not a traditional sailing ship this is a space ship I can get on board with lol
  4. Well done looks great!
  5. I see what you did there ... Nicely done
  6. Well done love these I wish we had more sets like these!
  7. It looks to be this piece but OP can confirm @SteamSewnEmpire I like this render. You have captured it well. I would suggest leaving the rear most window panes off to give the illusion the window is open. If you have the frame you can stick them on both sides of that would work too.
  8. It's a sad day ... Hopefully they will see the error in their ways. I'm glad you two aren't just giving up though we need your contributions to our community
  9. I love the sunken ships! Or waves? Perhaps they are waves ... My tired eyes decive me.
  10. Oh we bring our own leveling shims lol sometimes convention tables gave a twist lol. I found my issues is the pony trucks and the trailing trucks causing the center of the train (drivers) to lift off the track. To combat this I had to make them pivot not only left to right but up and down. This means they are actually 1 plate away when level
  11. Do you have the wheels that are already grooved? If you have the non grooved then they will not stay. You can set them up on a motor and cut a groove in them with a hobby knife. I am unable to search the link currently but I remember someone posting their "lathe" setup
  12. Yes ... I have it wrote up will post tomorrow! Thank you
  13. This would be brilliant if they released it this way ... But I think the goal with this is to be a shelf model
  14. The thing that I haven't seen anyone address. You mentioned your running trains in opposite directions. This means opposite polarity. If your getting a voltage leak then this makes sense. The voltages are dropping due to it being fed conflicting polarities. The circuit can't complete through the train motor due to the lack of path. Are you noticing they slow a certain spot? Or more random ... Is it after x amount of run time (overheating possibly) Also you can check this with a volt meter. Power one set of tracks and disconnect the power leads on the other controllers then check your unpowered tracks with the volt meter to see if your getting bleedover . Isolate the switches from the other loop until it drops off.
  15. I think it looks great well done ... Like how the silio link together. I've driven past this bin many a time on my way through StLouie lol
  16. Simple I like it Would like to see what in the background too
  17. That would be cool to make book ends ... This set going into a tunnel the remade moc coming out the other side
  18. It's a play on Capt wolfs recent ship limit build ... Stranded sailor on a beach wishes for a ship genie pops out. This is the Professor Genie lol
  19. Is this a thing ... Can we do this? Lol @Wellesleylove the rigging as well. It might be the photo angles but a couple of shots make the side very flat looking. If you can get a free Hi res shots of her on a blank background I would love to blog it!
  20. https://bricktraindepot.com/free-layout Another resource ...
  21. 8W (roughly 1/48th scale) Don't be hung up by the numbers any steam train built out of Lego will be 8-10 studs wide if it has proper rods and pistons. I've been building get8w" and here's why ... It gives you more clearance for wheel decorations pl hi it gives the "hint" at correctness. Whaile not truely to scale with the track it's a happy comprise that ae Minifig still looks good. Saying that your side rods will bring you to 9 so technically your Merc will be closer to 10 w in brick not in scale
