Should we expect some mining equipment in the future? Would love to see more pictures of how you cradled the battery

[ESL - Royal Naval Academy] Part II: Wading Pool
Roadmonkeytj replied to Kai NRG's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
This is well executed ... The Gimp cheat was quite convincing ... Did you just substitute that blue for green? Also the minis on the pool look great. Realistically it's a good way to teach tactical manuvers without risking ship and crew. Would love to see how you did the crossed anchors !- 30 replies

My treadle machine was first made in 1865 even though my model was 1905 ... but I know the company had been making sewing machines since 1830s. So I'm sure others were available. Some quick googling: The first patent for an industrial sewing machine was in 1790 by a man called Thomas Saint. This sewing machine would allow leather and canvas to be stitched. Like many early industrial sewing machines that followed this machine copied the action of the human arm when sewing. so technically it's the later end of sail -
Lego acquiring Bricklink - Problem with 3D-printed parts?
Roadmonkeytj replied to ScotNick's topic in LEGO Train Tech
That technically falls under the "not Lego" category ... Coasters stuff goes through serious QA testing and also falls into the AFOL community category so is allowed. Not sure if 4D left or was booted -

This is brilliant did you research old stitching machines or just come up with it on your own? Also clever use of the 2w doors. -

Is this just because you fell through the cracks or because they are head hunting people that "mutilate" Lego with non approved printing and engraving ... The ruling is very specific. I keep thinking ... they control the marketplace they control the price of bricks. -
Looking forward to seeing completed pics

I love the three musketeers lol very well done ... Captured quite well. The decals are great on the windows ... Are you using the spare whites of the sticker sheets? Have a link to more photos of the event?

Thank you ... Really I could only drop 4 cars. And I've compressed it already ... Small circus usually had 10 - 20 cars
-
Thank you! Circus cars were always painted to "draw attention" however by the time they were gutted and refitted with three bunks high there wasn't much ”pullman" left lol Thank you very much! Even early wagons had ornamental woodworking I'm glad that conveys. See here for a discussion This would be a switching locomotive 0-6-0 (had it already built in LDD) most freight was hauled by 2-8-0s by the era I'm representing. I'm still working on a larger engine. Unless your implying it won't pull it. I have seen this design pull 30 cars at a show without issue (ball bearings installed). I plan on installing ball bearings as well since these cars will have some decent weight.
-
Thank you me too Haha you know it's tempting lol 0-6-0 currently based mostly off THIS design. Not sure if I will leave it pulling this one but it looks good for now. Thank you. I actually had to look up the reference as I had forgotten about the circus train in it lol but realistically it's based off of photos like this:
