  1. I see you have only twelve more supporters to go as of this post, and just in time for the holidays!
  2. Why certainly! Recontextualized, he'd be one to overlook the excavation of medieval ruins just outside the City limits.
  3. Yeah. And besides, isn't Monster fighters meant to be a one and done type of theme like Dino and Pharaoh's Quest? Just have a single wave or year and nothing else. Well, that isn't to say that Monster Fighters in concept had potential beyond a single wave, as I would've been quite interested to see the theme move on beyond stereotypical Universal-type monsters and more towards something Lovecraftian or Noir flavored...
  4. Say, what if City brought the 2012 Dino theme's Josh Thunder (who's bio describes him as a descendant of Johnny Thunder) into its fold as a character, recontextualized as a Professor of Archaeology at the local Museum of Natural History?
  5. Wow, I don't know what else had me distracted at times, because I've surprisingly missed quite a few novel modular builds over this year... ...probably the most striking I've missed has to be @Berthil's Modular Botanical Garden, especially with all those curved glass panels. I'm also rather fond of @mouseketeer's Modular Red Car Trolley Station and @STHLM's High Society Corner Building, just to mention a few others I've missed.
  6. You're quite welcome, I'm rather baffled though that you haven't yet seen it... ...the display is certainly plentiful in many architectural and vehicular builds in one of my favorite color pairings for MOCs, Gold & Green!!! While we're here, I should give mention to @Norton74's most recent architectural creation...
  7. Oooooh, we're already on a good start here! A holiday baker is a most excellent idea, and the inclusion of the gingerbread microfigures and house are sweet indeed!
  8. Also, have you yet seen the "Sky-Fi" works of @Sylon before? He's even done a recolored rebuild of Jon Hall's V-30 Warhawk! Flickr - Sky-Fi by Sylon-tw
  9. I've been waiting for an Aviatrix figure from the Collectable Minifigure theme for quite some time myself, so if City could give me something comparable, hey...
  10. Ah, alright, I guess I'll give this a shot... Buzz Keeperman, a local Beekeeper. Robin Featherweight, a Ornithologist and avid Bird Watcher. Montana Jim, a Paleontologist and Professor at the Museum of Natural History. Amy Aviatrix, an Aviator inspired after Amelia Earhart.
  11. Well, the Hidden Side theme though had a preliminary codename of Banana, so I'm not sure if "Leaf" can be that reliable as a hint or clue. Outside of IP-based projects that have been rejected for being based upon an already preexisting license, I want to say that there have been some LEGO Ideas projects that've been rejected for possible confliction with a similar playtheme that's still active at the time.
  12. Quite the unique redesign! Are those circular "cut-outs" in the wings supposed to be some sorta VTOL turbines?
  13. Huh, if true, I'd imagine such a theme would have to greatly differ from @paokus's upcoming Pirate Bay, because otherwise it wouldn't have been approved. Hmmm, maybe it's more of a fantastical "big bang" theme? The enigmatic "Leaf" line perhaps?
  14. Alright, here we have an undoubtably worthy project to share here for this index... LEGO Ideas - Medieval Tower by 1965MGTFB

  16. Heh, what if Lego started releasing six CMS a year, three various licensed Series a year for US retail and three non-licensed Series a year for European retail, with all six only being made available through Lego's online shop? * * Well, maybe...
  17. Got a notification for this topic this morning and didn't recognize it due to the title change, momentarily thinking it was another CMF Idea topic I wasn't yet aware of!
  18. Looking simply awesome right there... ...I've always felt the BvS Batmobile was born to be built in Technic rather than System, as it already looks like a Technic set!
  19. Oh, well nonetheless, congratulations!!! I actually didn't notice it was you who'd submitted that entry...
  20. Same can also be said for the POTC and Lone Ranger themes, as they were all based upon Jerry Bruckheimer produced Disney films that translated quite well as playthemes with a very classic, archetypical feel that many AFOLs love... Though it may not be a Jerry Bruckheimer production, seeing how well those Disney movies translated into sets is what makes me want to see this as a theme...
  21. Which is something I'd like to see happen more often, as it'd be a good way to test the waters on concepts and ideas they'd be more fickle about.
  22. Ahem, excuse me, but the aesthetics and look of 1930's will always be timeless... ...give me that any day over the Apple/Ikea-tinged eyebores that permeate today's design sensibilities...
  23. Yes, though in the case of the Chinese New Year sets, they're still designed in mind for the Asian Pacific market, as 2020's sets are only to be released worldwide two weeks after they hit shelves in Asia... The Brick Fan - LEGO Officially Announces Two New Chinese New Year 2020 Sets
  24. Hmmm, not bad, I suppose my favorite choices have to be Trucking Like it's 1939 by raimo and 1940's Classic Police Car by Spacewalker78.
