  1. Alrighty, thanks!
  2. For the most part, absolutely agreed, though that might not be true of Jay Garrick Flash and First Appearance Batman & Wonder Woman, as they're definitely the most "dated" variants of the bunch and therefore the least likely to have otherwise appeared in a playset. Rebirth Superman on the other hand...
  3. By the way @Robert8, I know I ask about this roughly every other Series, but will you be publishing the public Flickr images of these soon? Maybe instead after the completion of this Advent Calendar?
  4. Heh, it's not Sky Pirates now is it? I remember you were rather enthusiastic about the suggestion of such back when we were all speculating over Series 19... BOOM
  5. I'm pretty sure the third review stage of each year closes off during the first week of December, with usually a staff blog post to announce the upcoming deadline, yet there hasn't been anything posted about such as of this post...
  6. Be it a "big bang" theme or otherwise, I'd hope to see more from the next Pirates theme besides just another rehash of Imperial Armadas vs. Pirates for a third time. Well, that'd honestly be more of a Space theme rather than a Pirates theme.
  7. Yep, Crimson Skies is definitely many's point of reference when it comes to fantastical warplanes; and within the AFOL community, the MOC genre they sit within has been cleverly dubbed "Sky-Fi"...
  8. Obviously those elements would likely remain pretty much unchanged or at least quite similar to such if Atlantis instead had more of a period setting in the spirit of Adventurers.
  9. I feel like this guy's choice of drink should be a Coke rather than cocoa.
  10. Of course, and I'd like a Space theme inspired after pulp science fiction of the 1930's, yet there still are plausible reasons one can figure for why some things just aren't so.
  11. To be fair, I wasn't being serious there, as I do love Lego's Atlantis theme for what it is! Nonetheless, an Atlantis subtheme fit into the Adventurers mold would still be awesome, as it'd more take after Verne's Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea and Disney's Atlantis: The Lost Empire rather than underwater Neo M-Tron.
  12. Well, they could've done it right and had one-off themes like Atlantis, Pharaoh's Quest, Dino, and Monster Fighters under one unified reboot of Adventurers instead...
  13. I bet you're cutting that cake right now aren't ya? The Brick Fan - LEGO Ideas Home Alone McCallister’s House Achieves 10,000 Supporters
  14. CONGRATULATIONS @adwind!!! The Brick Fan - LEGO Ideas Home Alone McCallister’s House Achieves 10,000 Supporters
  15. Unfortunately though, we haven't yet seen the Xtra theme debut any new molds, so I wouldn't yet count that as a possibility.
  16. Heck, they could even incorporate Powers into the Hidden Side theme. ...or, you could just have an easter egg in the form of a plaque on a Natural History Museum build reading off a dedication to Dr. Kilroy.
  17. One thing a new Outback subtheme shouldn't forgo though is the introduction of some new Australian wildlife molds, particularly for a Kangaroo and a Koala; so, having said that, I wouldn't want to trade-up that opportunity if a paleontological focus would leave no room for such.
  18. Well, sure, though I don't think that could be said for every theme or premise. For instance, would the original Adventurers theme have been better as a one-and-done endeavor, just sticking to Egypt like Pharaoh's Quest had done?
  19. The one particular sore spot I have with Monster Fighters is with the protagonists' vehicular builds, as they all have their own awkward elements about them that cut them short from perfection. For instance, in 9468 Vampyre Castle, McHammer looks like he's sitting atop his roadster rather than within it.
  20. A few here have previously brought up the possibility of City revisiting the Australian Outback as a future Exploration subtheme (subsequently acting as a successor to the 1997 subtheme of Town), and I was pondering what the expeditionary focus of a modern iteration of such would be. Could it perhaps it be a paleontological one, centered around the excavation of Dinosaur fossils?
  21. I think it also somewhat evokes the underside of a mushroom cap.
  22. You're quite welcome, it is a most lovely build!
  23. Speaking of preexisting characters from others themes, I wonder if they'd ever shoehorn Clutch Powers into a People Pack or flagship "City Square" set like they had for Ninjago, though perhaps in more casual, less-adventurous attire akin to his debut movie appearance...
