  1. Um, I kinda find it strange that you of all people would be hesitant of a more fantastical reboot/reimagining of a classic playtheme... ...I mean, such a theme needn't have to be thought of as a successor to Adventurers, just as nobody currently considers Ninjago as a reboot of 1999's Ninja subtheme.
  2. Ah, nice...
  3. Just to go back to Father Frost and the Snow Maiden for a moment, I'd hope to see both of their new headgear parts reused for some other Russian archetypes...
  4. Apparently JANGBRiCKS built this for Xfinity's ET-themed Holiday short film... Jang's build appears at the 2:47 mark...
  5. Well, I think a true Space Pirates theme wouldn't miff Pirate fans as much in the same way Nexo Knights had done for Castle fans, as it'd pretty much be a straight-up Space theme rather than something in between.
  6. Also, 60258 Tuning Workshop has two new Earth Green torso designs of its own (seen on the left)...
  7. I'm pretty certain the female character's torso in 60267 is new.
  8. Heh, I love the little touch with the forehead curl there...
  9. As long as it ain't a Treasure Planet kinda Space theme, I'd happily welcome such, though it'd likely be of no interest to most Pirateers here.
  10. Well, I can't quite come to decide whether I necessarily like them or dislike them, as I guess they just merely fascinate me in a baffled sorta manner... Anyway though, perhaps I should instead highlight something more grounded by @Aukbricks? Or, how 'bout something not quite as grounded by @Vaionaut?
  11. Oh no, believe me, it could easily pull off all of that (and maybe more) if given the chance... ...I mean, as far as genre representation within Lego playthemes goes, such a theme at its fullest potential could do for Pulp-Era adventure fiction what Ninjago has done for Martial Arts and Japanese Pop Culture.
  12. Dang, and I thought twenty-four holiday-themed archetypes alone would've been hard enough to come up with for such...
  13. You are right about that... but I'm still cautious Well, August's Hidden Side was officially announced and unveiled at February's 2019 New York Toy Fair, so...
  14. Oooooh, this has to be my favorite one yet! I seriously love that Russian headdress/hairpiece!!!
  15. The last Buildable Star Wars Figures were released in 2018, and didn't return for 2019, hence leaving the "constraction" segment completely absent for this year. So, we can presume that "Leaf" is System-based by default? Do you perhaps know whether it's aimed towards boys or girls? Is it definitely an unlicensed, in-house theme?
  16. Now why you gotta rain on my parade? Can't a man hope for the best? True, and you have brought that up before, which still leaves us with pretty much nothing to work with at the moment unfortunately... ...I suppose a question to be pondered regarding Lego's product lineup currently is whether it could use another Ninjago-sized in-house playtheme, or instead something "constraction" based. For that matter, is Lego even at all interested in pursuing a follow-up to either Bionicle or Nexo Knights? Could the "Leaf" theme be something else altogether?
  17. ...or, it won't even be a System-based theme at all, as some have previously speculated elsewhere that it could be a "constraction" based line (i.e. Bionicle/Hero Factory).
  18. Heh, but City can't give you Sky Pirates, Zeppelins, Evil Barons, Mechanical Men, Lovecraftian Monsters, Undead Mummies, Dinosaurs, Subterranean Civilizations, Masked Avengers, Pulp-Era Adventurers...
  19. It's undoubtedly Jay Garrick for me, and he's probably the sole reason I'll be looking forwards to @WhiteFang's review of the Series.
  20. Nah, that couldn't be, why would an already established playtheme go by a confidential codename?
  21. Thats the secret project Ah, alright then...
  22. Oh, so you're saying you're not 100% certain?
  23. Say, I've just noticed that you have this one mystery Series slated between Series S and Series T... ...have you previously mentioned this before and I simply forgot?
  24. Well, like Space Pirates, a Dieselpunk Sky Pirates theme quite likely wouldn't be of much interest to those who primarily frequent this subforum. Obviously you're acknowledging right there that there is something else we should expect afterwards...
  25. I myself had actually never heard of Father Frost up until now, so as a choice he was quite a surprise for me...
