Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion
Digger of Bricks replied to The Jersey Brick Guy's topic in LEGO Town
That's a possibility, though I think Lego might instead opt for a small, generic toy store if that were the case. The store would have many fun easter egg references spread throughout relating to TLG's history. Eurobricks user @Glerick had made a 60th anniversary modular suggestion on this thread for a museum that would serve a similar purpose, which I thought was pretty novel. -
So, who do you think will be Lego's choice for the First 2017 Ideas Review?

Creator and Creator expert wishlist
Digger of Bricks replied to Ondra's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Flickr user Peter Morris is a builder who's work I first remember seeing in Megan Rothrock's The Lego Adventure Book Vol. 1, and his speciality is creating starfighters using these "box cockpits" as a starting point. He offered instructions for these in Megan's book, and personally, I think such a modular design would make for a great Creator Designer set that kids would love! -
Bali Padda said international markets are being focused on for future lines beyond Western IPs, since maybe those may not have as much fanfare in Asia. From Brick Fanatics: The thing is though, I wonder if this focus has changed now that Padda has stepped down as CEO. https://brickset.com/article/29843/lego-appoints-new-ceo

What does everyone think the chances are for "60th Anniversary of the Brick" entied sets for non-Expert Creator sets next year? Do you think it is more likely or unlikely to to happen?

The LEGO Batman Movie Set/CMF Rumors & Discussion

Do you know if the Bat-Spaceshuttle comes with a fuel tank and initial launch rockets like in the film, or does the shuttle come without these? -

2018 Speed Champions Sets - Rumours and Discussion
Digger of Bricks replied to Rick's topic in LEGO Town
Nice find @madejp86! Looking at it, I'm pretty sure that could be an official set, perhaps it could be paired with a modern Mustang like 2016's Camaro drag race set. It's funny, but @RacerRabbit had speculated the possibility of a Hoonigan car in one of the Ford sets earlier on this topic.- 528 replies

I suspect this will be the case, something I've hypothesized about before on @Ookami's thread linked below.

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Future Series Rumours
Digger of Bricks replied to r4-g9's topic in Special LEGO Themes
And again, unless the film is rescheduled by WB, May 2019's CMS will likely be entied to the next cinematic film The Billion Brick Race to be released the same month. -

@MatthewRC It most likely will be the CMS for The Lego Movie 2. -
By the way, what are some of the most popular mecha anime franchises with kids in China around Lego's target age group of six to eleven year olds? Given TLG CEO Bali Padda's comment made earlier this year regarding Asian IPs, can anyone name a few possible candidates that could potentially be introduced as a Constraction line?

I've never even seen or heard of this variant before, quite the wide, wild ride, and spot on again for that matter too! I must say, the rear shots of this creation are the best.

The LEGO Group takes civil actions against LEPIN
Digger of Bricks replied to CopMike's topic in General LEGO Discussion
A favorite builder of mine, JonHall18, had a creation of his also ripped off by Lepin. Despite the creation being of a Dieselpunk fighter plane, Lepin headlined the box with "Space Fighter". -
LEGO Collectable Minifigures Future Series Rumours
Digger of Bricks replied to r4-g9's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Ah, well, it did seem to be the most obvious possibility. I guess though there may be a D2C of some sort to be entied with it. Do you know if it is an original HP movie based series, a FB based series, or a combination? -

How much would you want to bet that the Space Batman's (or is it Batspaceman?) torso print features an oval Bat-emblem with a red rocket orbiting around it? -
Aw Heck, this is just too cool! I for one actually like the sharp front prongs, and the way you incorporated the stacked dual headlights into them is perfect! Also, the front wheels are nicely built into them in a discrete fashion. I certainly would love to see some more futuristic takes on Speed Champions cars!

LEGO Ninjago 2017 Discussion
Digger of Bricks replied to Peppermint_M's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
I don't know if anyone else here has spotted this yet, but New Elementary has posted this one article about a great new piece that comes in the Ninjago City modular, part no. 32828 (a.k.a. Plate 1X1 Round W/3.2 Shaft/1,5 Hole). -
Survey: New parts and new colors
Digger of Bricks replied to Bonaparte's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Posted on @C0zmic's LEGOLAND non production parts, both @1974 and @whitswj have in their possession these two prototype 2 by 5 flat slope parts, one an inverse of the other. It would be cool to see Lego reconsider these, but any non-studded flat slope parts would be interesting to see. -

YES! I would love to see your Dreyfuss streamlined locomotive as an Ideas project!

The LEGO Batman Movie Set/CMF Rumors & Discussion

The same complementary visor part could be used in Trans. Light Green from year one Atlantis sets to pair with also, most appropriate for either a Blacktron II look or for MANTIS. -
I really dig the slopes and arches used at the front of the tailfins; its a simple mod, but it makes for a nice retro rocket. Something I want to suggest, maybe you should have two transparent canopies instead for the pilot's cockpit; and perhaps as a fun hypothetical play feature, you could make the pilot's seat rotate with a turntable plate and something weighted to keep it level with the rotation of the rocket.

I was never interested in Dimensions for the game, just the physical packs and the many licenses it carried onboard. What was really cool about the game is the fact that many of the IPs were ones that had rejected Ideas projects preceding them, making Dimensions a sort of outlet for those rejects. So if the game is indeed ending, we don't really have another such outlet for possible second chances. I certainly would have like to see a Iron Giant Fun Pack, providing a minifigure take on titular character if an actual set weren't viable.

Well then, what would be different and "never before seen" for Lego as far as trains go? Perhaps an early locomotive such as Stephenson's Rocket with some historical significance?
