Lego 60th Anniversary sets 2018
Digger of Bricks replied to TeufelHund's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Was this maybe the source of that suggestion? This video by @just2good covers the initial rumor originally reported by SvL, and J2G merely guesses that various themes SvL said this line covers would be those four classic themes (Space, Castle, Town, Pirates). -
Discussion: LEGO Architecture 2018
Digger of Bricks replied to Kaanere's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I'm not particularly interested in the theme compared to others, but I do know that two days ago that there were catalog preliminaries posted on Instagram of the Shanghai and Las Vegas skyline sets for next year.- 217 replies

Particularly, I don't know; but I've speculated before that it may be entied to the System's 60th anniversary next year. -
Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion

Yeah, I saw that, what was that anyway? Many of the Instagram comments for the post kept speaking of a "blue baseplate". -
Fantastic Beasts 2018 - Speculation & Future Set Discussion
Digger of Bricks replied to Ookami's topic in LEGO Licensed
Or just simply retitle this thread "Possible Future Licensed Sets/Themes". The discussion on this thread has mostly been about HP/FB; but given the title of the topic, it has veered away from that at times. -

This is more of a part recolor request of sorts, but it does relate to the DC theme. This particular hairpiece (pictured below) I think could work well recolored in Green to don on a Joker minifigure; specifically, it would give Joker a very Arkham video game series inspired look, especially given the hairpiece's receding hairline.

I've been calling for a WV train station for a little while now before the confirmation and announcement of this set, since it seemed a likely possibility as a companion to last year's holiday train. But still, I was hoping such a set could have at least came with a small holiday themed tram or trolley, simply so it could also be a standalone set. Now finally looking at the set, to me, it really does look too incomplete without any smaller rail transport. Yes, I do like the bus, but it did need some small rail transport of some type. Just my two cents.

Harry Potter 2018 - Rumors & Discussion
Digger of Bricks replied to Robert8's topic in LEGO Licensed
For me, there are only three good things that could come from this revival. One, a D2C Hogwarts Express of a Emerald Night quality, which also must come with large train wheels. Secondly, potential figures from the FB movies would provide some great, 1920's period set attire prints that could be repurposed for other non-HP related MOCs. Lastly, a D2C Hogwarts Castle would definitely supply a great deal of possibly new Sand Green bricks in the construction of the towers' spires and roofs.- 8,371 replies

I guess we would have heard otherwise already, but I almost wonder if there is a normal line of sets coming for the film. Why? Well, if there is a entied video game coming by TT Games for the movie like stated in the catalog, would the only products for it really just be these three Juniors sets? I don't know, it just seems rather unusual I think.

LEGO Nexo Knights 2018
Digger of Bricks replied to Peppermint_M's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
I certainly wasn't expecting antagonists of a more sci-fi aesthetic if this indeed is the case; which honestly would be great, since that may mean there could be more potential for their constructs to possibly include new Trans. Green canopies.- 1,601 replies

Harry Potter 2018 - Rumors & Discussion
Digger of Bricks replied to Robert8's topic in LEGO Licensed
Awhile ago, @Itaria No Shintaku told us that a second Disney CMS was not happening for that time slot; and as far as 2019 goes, I'm pretty sure nothing is yet set in stone, let alone confirmed or rumored yet.- 8,371 replies

Lego 60th Anniversary sets 2018
Digger of Bricks replied to TeufelHund's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Are you speculating, or do you have a source? If you do have legitimate information, do you know if this is an entirely new theme, or are they sets spanning across various preexisting themes entied to the System's 60th anniversary? -
So, here are the set numbers and their corresponding names: 31071 Drone Explorer, 31072 Extreme Engines, 31074 Rocket Rally Car, 31075 Outback Adventures, and 31076 Daredevil Stunt Plane. Of these five, I think the Drone Explorer and the Rocket Rally Car are my two favorites; but I have to say, we still have not seen images for sets 31077 and 31078. I wonder what those will be?

Fun! Another cool retro MOC, but this time inspired after 50's sci-fi! Sort of reminds me of one of the mechanical men from 2004's Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow, the ones with the bendy arms that is.

There is now a single box art image of the Winter Village Train Station out, even though no official press release has come out yet. Eurobricks user @Penkid11 has shared it on the Seasonal 2017 thread linked below.

Disney Princesses 2018 - Rumors & Discussion
Digger of Bricks replied to Robert8's topic in LEGO Licensed
Hmm, I kind of like the color combination for Cinderella's Castle of White, Earth Blue, and Lilac. Its also rather interesting to see that these sets have a "build and swap" feature, kind of like a Creator element. By the way, does that White castle turret crown capping both bookending towers look like a new piece? Maybe I'm wrong, but to me, it looks like a new, rounded version of part no. 6066 (pictured below).- 135 replies

There are four sets so far seen in new preliminary leaks for the Creator theme, which include... 31073 Dragon, 31079 Surfer Van, 31080 Modular Winter Lodge, and 31081 Modular Funhouse.
-
So did Instagram user lego_peru, three of them in fact. How do you like that?
-
There are now some preliminary catalog images of the five 60th anniversary sets SvL had earlier mentioned up on Instagram. I also want to mention that prelims of four Creator sets were also shown, but unfortunately, nothing groundbreaking for the theme. Personally, I was perhaps hoping to see some Space or Castle themed sets for it, but we will have to see what more 2018 has in store. But I will say, there is a cute Creator set of a minifigure scale beach van that's nice.
