  1. We've had a few miniature Batmobile polybag promotional sets over the years, some original designs, some based upon specific source material. I would like to see more promotional sets based upon various iconic cinematic and/or TV and/or classic comic Batmobiles. Particularly, the 1989 Burton Batmobile, the 1966 TV show Batmobile, and Animated Series Batmobile would be fun to see.
  2. LEGO Ideas 21312 Women of NASA Unveiled [News] Now there's a project I really hope will be approved! It's so beautifully shaped!
  3. Ohhh, I'm really digging this spacecraft! Why? Well, simply because of your usage of those large arch parts making up the shape and build of the engines, not to mention that this craft also looks awesome in Dark Red! You know, if you are looking for some great inspiration for Sci-fi creations/Ideas projects, check out the work of French builder Vincent Gashod (a.k.a. Vince_Toulouse). His Retro-Futuristic MOCs are immediately what my mind had turned to when I saw your project, particularly these three pictured below.
  4. For the first group, I chose Lloyd Garmadon, simply for his nice new hair and hood combo headgear part. For the second group, the S3 Pilot, since I'm serious Sky-fi junkie!
  5. That hairpiece seen there originally was introduced for the CMS S3 Elf figure, done in blonde with yellow ears. I'm pretty sure that is the only time we have seen that hairpiece so far, and in no other recolors; so if I were to guess, that's probably a paint-over. Unless... ...what we are seeing is an upcoming recolor to be used by TLBM characters Zan and Jayna, rumored to be coming in the second TLBM CMS slated for January next year. As you can see from this concept art, they both don that exact same hairpiece in that recolor.
  6. I know everyone would love to have any canopy and/or windshield part recolored in Trans-yellow, but for me, there are a few in particular I would be thrilled to see. Here is list of the top ten canopy/windshield parts I would like to see in Trans-yellow: Part no. 45705 (SHELL 6X10X2 W/BOW/ANGLE, PC etc.) Part no. 41751 (SHELL 6X8X2 W/BOW/ANGLE etc.) Part no. 27165 (COCKPIT 4X10X2 1/3, W/ 3.2 SHAFT, NO. 1) Part no. 22483 (WINDSCREEN 4X5 1/2X1 1/3) Part no. 30372 (COCKPIT 4X7X2 FRIC/FORK etc.) Part no. 11289 (COCKPIT 4X4X4 2/3 W. Ø3.2 SHAFT etc.) Part no. 18973 (WINDSCREEN 4X6X1 1/3 W/STUDS) Part no. 87606 (COCKPIT 6X6X2 etc.) Part no. 27262 (COCKPIT 4X5X1, W/ 3.2 SHAFT, NO. 1) Part no. 62576 (WINDSCREEN 8x5x2 PC)
  7. Dang, I really am digging that Quake Mech, and I'm certainly glad that the cinematic version's tractor tire stuck around for the set version. I also like the brutish klunkiness of this mechs knuckles, and the radar dishes added to the top of the lower arms give a certain sort of musculature to its aesthetic.
  8. Has anyone here ever given the S17 Rocket Suit Boy the S17 Retro Space Hero's helmet to wear? That just might work well since that helmet is the same color as the Rocket Suit Boy's Light Bluish Grey CS torso, along with it being a cool Sigfig fusion of Retro Space and Classic Space.
  9. For the first group, the S17 Elf Maiden was an easy choice, but the second group was certainly a tough one. In the end, I went with the S6 Classic Alien, but those other four are all excellent CMFs! Well that certainly sounds like fun, and it just might bring some additional traffic to that subforum. I certainly hope to see more set based contests in the future!
  10. By "in this section", do you mean subforum? Will it be another minifigure based game or something else?
  11. I'm surprised that we haven't seen any other users here start more game topics like this one. Perhaps instead of minifigure centric ones though, maybe game topics focused on sets of a particular theme could be done.
  12. It may not fit within the set color scheme of Space Police I; but nonetheless, I think it works just perfectly, a nice blend of S7 Space Marine and Space Police I aesthetics. Opting to incorporate the Trans-red element of SP1's color scheme as a subtle Bright Red stripe works quite nicely, and trading the Bright Blue of SP1 for Earth Blue also complements its Space Marine pilot.
  13. Whoa, this one is radically different in so many ways! Of course, the yellow and black striping/checkering can't help but remind me of Classic Space bumblebee accenting; and the lack the usual forward pointing prongs, which the Falcon would otherwise have, give this freighter a saucercraft like shape. Now those thrusters, those are the best part of this creation, their rounded shaping is excellent!
  14. Well, like everyone else has said here, that's just hilariously brilliant and clever!
  15. Well, regarding the paintball gun, perhaps it could be reused again for a adversarial female paintballer CMF. OK, thanks for that!
  16. Extremely aggressive and forward! The dual cargo hulls are quite novel, and those thrusters are pretty cool. It's also nice to see a creation utilize that older Millennium Falcon canopy piece, since it adds a rather unique look.
  17. Katana VII, is that one of the SoG sets slated for 2018? I didn't save those preliminary catalog images when they were circulating around back then, so I'm not sure if that's what you're referencing. Oh, I didn't notice that initially when I first saw that image, thanks for pointing that out. One of the reasons I am interested in that helmet I initially mentioned is because this will be the second time that part has ever been used. It was introduced for that S10 Paintball Player CMF and never since then been reused. Though it may be the same color, it at least will presumably lack those paintball splotch prints, making it much more universally reusable. Blacktron anyone?
  18. Most elegant and sleek! Along with its near studless exterior, the color choices for this creation work quite nicely, and I like the application of those TIE Interceptor-like wings on the sides! By the way, was the Copper you choose for this creation the newer one introduced in the Winter 2017 wave Ninjago sets?
  19. Does the initial one you're speaking of have a Black sleeveless jacket and a Black helmet with night vision googles clipped on? I found a YouTube video published today with assorted images of some of the various leaked SoG figures, and that was the first one seen in the video. Unless I'm mistaken, I think his helmet is actually the one donned by the S10 Paintball Player, minus the Lime Green splatter prints though.
  20. By the way, did you ever get a Fall 2017 catalog in your mail earlier last month? I too got the Holiday 2017 catalog yesterday, surprised though there never was a Fall one which should have been in the mail back in early September. I know that's somewhat off topic, but I was just wondering after seeing your comment.
  21. One of the primarily reasons I'm not fond of the Millennium Falcon myself is because it is an asymmetrical spacecraft, so seeing a symmetrical Corellian freighter is pretty cool. Along with its Earth Blue/Olive Green accenting, I like different take on the rear thrusters of this craft, especially how the outermost ones move outwards from the rounded rear of the craft.
  22. I initially wasn't aware of this Rebrick contest until I started seeing many of these original design Corellian freighter creations pop up around Flickr. Though I'm not much of a Star Wars guy, I'm really liking many of the entries for this contest I've seen so far, and this one certainly is no exception! For me, the Sand Green accenting and that "Nexogon" radar dish are the two best parts of this creation, and your usage of those turntable bases for the rear cooling fans is really cool also!
  23. Though there seems to be nothing going on within the interior of this creation both mechanically nor aesthetically, this one 1959 Disneyland Monorail project is kind of cool for its fair exterior recreation of its source material. LEGO Ideas - 1959 Disneyland Monorail
  24. Can you describe what these "mechanical" masks look like?
