  1. Saw this was featured over at the blog ArchBrick the other day. ArchBrick - Baroque Cathedral
  2. Here are some of the changes I would've liked to have seen done to the line: Make the protagonists' spacecraft a bit more "swooshable" and sleeker, more akin that is to the shape and design adopted by some of the protagonists' spacecraft for Space Police III. Give the protagonists' spacecraft only a single color scheme, preferably the White and Dark Azure one with Trans-Yellow canopies replacing the Trans-White ones. Also, the Dark Azure pinstripe accenting upon the White would be depicted with bricks instead of stickers as best as possible. Unlike their spacecraft, the Squad would have differing colors for their outfits, but they would instead designate ranks as opposed to teams. Plus, some would be outfitted with armor, much like that donned by the Series 13 Galaxy Trooper. The Insectoid builds would not be piloted craft for the minifigures of the theme's antagonists, but rather be bugs themselves to fight alongside the Insectoid minifigures. Also, the brick-built bugs' would be constructed in Olive Green (not Lime Green) and Dark Red with Trans-Red accenting, reflective of the color scheme of their minifigure comrades. Insectoid minifigures would also be given a bit more variety in their body types, some with multiple arms and/or legs or shorter and/or taller heights, with some variance in printing too. Lastly, there would be at least one or two Battle Pack sets done during the theme's lifespan.
  3. Well, as will many of the other 2019 set lines presumably after San Diego Comic-Con, much like last year.
  4. YAHOO Movies - 'Hotel Artemis' director Drew Pearce: I had to pay for props on my own credit card (exclusive)
  5. Not to mention, in retrospect, that those "cuffs" actually look more like dual molding as opposed to mere printing.
  6. This has to be my favorite angle of your creation, as the circular design elements incorporated onto both the locomotive and its accompanying structure really catch my eye.
  7. I haven't yet seen Infinity War, but with its home media release scheduled for the end of this month, I've been doing a bit of a catch-up and refresh with the MCU in anticipation of that, as the last MCU film I've ever watched was Age of Ultron back in 2015. So, I finally watched Captain America: Civil War for the first time about two nights ago after rewatching The Winter Soldier a few nights earlier. Compared to the first two Captain America entries, Civil War obviously felt less like a standalone Cap movie and more like Avengers 2.5. That's not necessarily a bad thing, and it was a good movie, but it still was instead an extended Avengers melodrama with Bucky as its focal point.
  8. Perhaps he's just been embellished a bit for that non-physical depiction, but there are a few unrealistic details seen on that figure, namely the printing on the lower side of the torso and the cuffs printed all the way around.
  9. Here's JANGBRICKS' motorization of the set:
  10. Maybe I've already said this before here or elsewhere, but I'd really hope to see Lego recolor and reuse Sweet Mayhem's new helmet mold for other themes. By the way, unless we surprisingly don't see a Collectable Minifigure Series done for this sequel, do you think that a separate topic will be needed for that potential CMS when we do hear of its presumed confirmation, or will discussion of it take place here too? Back in 2014, I remember that The Lego Movie's sets and its Collectable Minifigure Series were discussed on two separate topics, whereas only a single topic was need for The Lego Batman Movie and The Lego Ninjago Movie's respective sets and CMSs.
  11. What a beautifully unusual and striking fusion! It's like Ninjago City meets European architecture, not to mention that it's airborne too! If I had to pick one of my favorite finer details on this creation, it'd probably be that unique sidewalk. Ooooh, I really wish we could see better standalone images of that green/grey/brown/tan half-width modular in the middle, which to me looks awfully Art Nouveau.
  12. Well, now that we have our first official images, descriptions, and prices for at least three of the sets so far, should this topic be renamed back to being a concrete set discussion topic, or should a separate topic be created?
  13. I definitely think all three of those properties each have a high chance of getting at least one set for the theme.
  14. With the debut of the film's first teaser to be taking place there, I'd suspect that will indeed be the case, as the set's release date is approaching awfully close.
  15. Once again, these two have just followed up their initial Fortnite CMF draft with a second series:
  16. You know, I didn't mention this at the time since I thought it was rather trival/unrelated to this topic, but upon seeing this list of shoutouts, I was thinking that we could perhaps use a "mentioning function" that allows for a single "mention" that addresses all of Eurobricks' staff in one "@" submission, so to speak.
  17. Here's a new still released by Entertainment Weekly ahead of San Diego Comic-Con:
  18. Much like Space Police III, another theme that had an implied futuristic city setting was Ultra Agents, which only ran for two years with three waves. Unlike Space Police III though, it's setting was instead on Earth as opposed to some other extraterrestrial location.
  19. Perhaps you're already aware of this guy's Bird of Prey? Flickr - Klingon Bird of Prey (redux)
  20. It's interesting to see how those star and heart bombs are named as characters in the set descriptions, respectively just as Star and Heart. Also, I was initially under the impression from the teaser that Wyldstyle's scarf and quiver were a singular new piece, much like TLNM Lady Iron Dragon's; but no, the quiver in Black looks to be the old one we've had forever, while I'm not sure if her Brown scarf is new or if it's just a recolor of TLNM Jay's in reverse.
  21. By the way @LegoModularFan, I was just checking out your more recent Flickr favorites and saw you'd faved a bunch of photos of the work of user Azurekingfisher, of whom I've never heard of before. I mean, my gosh, she's like the next Katie Walker... Oh, and for others who also read this topic, she's done some beautiful architectural creations too!
  22. I'm still expecting the yet-to-be unveiled rear-engine C8 Corvette to be a possible candidate for a future set, if we're to presume the theme will continue on for at least one more year.
