I find those two respectively to have the best new hairpiece mold and best new hairpiece recolor. Flitwick's hairpiece resembles an old-fashioned toupee (great to use for comical situations), and it's great to see the Han Solo hairpiece utilized beyond its originally intended purpose for a non-Disney owned license, meaning they don't have an exclusive hold on that particular hairpiece.

[MOC] The (in)famous Kowloon Walled City as a modular building
Digger of Bricks replied to Graupensuppe's topic in LEGO Town
I saw this over on Ideas back when you joined Eurobricks, and immediately highlighted it over on @LegoModularFan's inspiration topic (linked below). Best of luck to you over at Ideas on your journey towards ten thousand supporters! -
DC Superheroes 2019 - Rumours, Speculation & Discussion
Digger of Bricks replied to Anonknee Muss's topic in LEGO Licensed
Exactly, especially that last part, so I can appreciate that the tie-in sets didn't differ from their on-screen variants too much. Naturally, TLG and WB most likely tried to strike a balance between an uninhibited MOC and a modestly priced playset, at least in terms of vehicles. -
Future Action and Adventure Themes
Digger of Bricks replied to Peppermint_M's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Given that it'll be ten years come 2019 since we saw our last underground action/adventure theme with Power Miners, I've been recently contemplating new directions such a genre could go if we ever see Lego revisit it for another new theme. So, one idea I had was to utilize the genre for a new minidoll theme for girls. As far as a premise goes, how about a storyline focused upon a biologist traveling with an expedition which uncovers an extraordinary new ecosystem living within a monumental deep-earth cavern network, filled with fantastical bioluminescent lifeforms and organisms. Like another earlier idea I shared here for an underground action/adventure theme, their antagonist wouldn't be any individual or group of people, but the threat of some sort of degradation or collapse of the ecosystem/habitat itself, from which our heroes would be trying to save. Technically it wouldn't really be a Castle theme, as it would be somewhat more akin to Legends of Chima than Nexo Knights. Think of it more as a fantastical Dieselpunk/Decopunk/Raypunk/Sky-Fi warfare theme, with only the bare bones structure of a Castle theme in terms of armies, kingdoms, and conflict. Solders, rulers, and civilians may have attire that would fuse chivalric garments with some Art Deco influences, but its overall superficial aesthetic would be more like Flash Gordon/Buck Rogers meets World War II. -
What was the last movie you watched?
Digger of Bricks replied to EbonHawk's topic in Culture & Multimedia
Tomb Raider (2018) with Alicia Vikander and Rampage (2018) with Dwayne Johnson. Tomb Raider was a fair enough movie, which to me seemed a little dull overall, though I did end up liking it further towards the end. Same can be said somewhat for Rampage, which was a bit more fun than Tomb Raider, with an ending that sort of sealed the deal for me. So, yeah, I think they're both worth checking out if you haven't seen them already. -
Inspirational Modular and Castle MOCs
Digger of Bricks replied to LegoModularFan's topic in LEGO Town
Today, I'd like to highlight the work of of your Jim Garrett over on MOCpages, who's mostly an enthusiast of the architecture of Detroit, Michigan, with many of of his creations built during the mid to late 2000's. You can also find him over on Flickr too (under the username DecoJim), though most pictures of his Lego creations in particular are over on MOCpages primarily. LEGO Ideas Discussion

It's seems to have always been that way for a quite awhile now, but I guess there has been a bit of an uptick for this subject matter for Ideas projects in more recent months. -

Yet none of them are Classic Space projects, let alone anything veering off into Sci-Fi at least. -
Future Action and Adventure Themes

If Lego ever revisits the concept of a Racers/Action theme fusion line like they'd done with with 2010's World Racers, I'd hope to see them instead go with more over an individual racers approach next time around, as opposed to rival teams as they did with World Racers. This could therefore allow for a more colorful assortment of racers and their respective rides, instead of various vehicles in only two different color schemes. 2018's cinematic adaptation of Ready Player One also comes to mind when it comes to Cyberspace, but I suppose that has too much of a fleshed out aesthetic compared to the more bare bones look of those other examples you cited. Speaking of such, I wonder what came of that rumored constraction theme we heard of earlier that was said to have a "computer world" setting. -
I have a very limited knowledge of both the classic and current TV shows, so I didn't know who Zarkon was and I looked him up. Well, I'll just say, his Netflix incarnation and respective mech would both certainly be impressive as a minifigure and Lego build!

With larger D2C sets (most of the time) that are announced with a complementary TLG press release, moderators here typically start a new topic for them anyway.

Perhaps if this set is more successful than they would've hoped for, maybe Lego would pursue obtaining the license for the current Netflix series, giving us a line of individual sets for each Lion and its respective pilot. You know, @len_d69 (creator of the Ideas project) did have another submission for a Castle of Lions playset, as a successive project to follow up his Voltron one:

Not to mention, besides the figures, the builds for the sets themselves, especially for many of the Bat-Vehicles! The tie-in sets for The Lego Batman Movie were almost of an MOC-like quality, and the same can be said for The Lego Ninjago Movie's tie-in sets too. -
Future Action and Adventure Themes
Digger of Bricks replied to Peppermint_M's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
How about an action theme which fuses the stylistic sensibilities of European medieval chivalry with the wartime technologies of World War II? Essentially, it would be a Dieselpunk/Sky-Fi Castle theme, where an alliance of fictional European nations defend each other's kingdoms from the mad imperialistic conquests of a lone warlock baron and his mechanical army. Sets would be made up of castle-like armory fortresses, fantastical warplanes, hyperbolically sized tanks, and flying warships, all done with a stylistic fusion of medieval and early twentieth century aesthetic sensibilities. P.S. One of my primary inspirations for this idea comes from the fictional backstories for each of Jon Hall's Sky-Fi warplane creations. Flickr - JonHall18 - Albums -
Which AFOL Builders do you Admire or Aspire After?

What are your favorite MOC genres to build within, admire others' work from, or aspire to hopefully build within in the near future if you'll ever have the opportunity? Whether they be based upon past or present preexisting themes, licenses, or product lines already covered by Lego (Star Wars, Classic Space, Ninjago, etc.), or perhaps they've never been truly touched upon by Lego (Steampunk, Post-Apocalyptic, Licensed Franchises never yet partnered with TLG, etc.), discuss your favorites here and share creations from those genres built by yourself or others.

That's a lot of wild NPU right there! The usage of the Chima wings and skeleton legs for the inner rear thrusters have to be the most interesting, while I like how the nozzle parts up front evoke those prongs seen on classic sets such as the Galaxy Explorer and Space Cruiser.

Yes, @LegoModularFan had also brought that updated build to my attention over on his topic Inspirational Modular and Non-Modular Building MOCs a little while ago. That's a discussion topic that you really should check out sometime by the way!

Unofficial movie tie-ins and other set timing
Digger of Bricks replied to icm's topic in General LEGO Discussion
A most fascinating topic of speculative discussion, with some great observations already made which all sound highly possible! This is a subject I've pondered myself before in past for some product lines at times, so it's great to see this brought to the table here at Eurobricks! I've always wondered if the first year for the Adventurers theme was precipitated in anticipation of Universal's Mummy remake that released in 1999. I know that was still two years away from finally being released, but the studio had expressed their desire to do the remake as early as 1992. -
What franchise should Lego do next?
Digger of Bricks replied to frikandeloorlog's topic in General LEGO Discussion
For perhaps a longer lifespan as far as successive CMSs go, maybe such a line could be done not solely as a Looney Tunes one, but instead as a broader Warner Brothers Animation CMS line. Each series could be made up of various characters from both created and acquired cartoon shows, such as Hanna Barbera (Scooby Doo, Flintstones, Jetsons, etc.), Tom and Jerry, The Animanics, and whomever else I may not recall within their ownership. -
Hey there @rh1985moc, welcome to Eurobricks! I've seen your work on both Flickr and LEGO Ideas before, and I'm particularly fond of your Asiatic Grand Hotel & Emporium modular creation. I was originally familiar with that project through Ideas, but was recently made aware of its presence on Flickr along with the rest of your work thanks to @LegoModularFan.
