    I wouldn't really mind them heading that direction either, but for more modest-minded fans of the line, I'd kinda be sad for them if that were to be the case, as I'm sure there are many civic institutions and places of business that they'd rather see done soon here. Sure, but two separate sets at half the price each may mean that they'd each be sold at normal retailers beyond the Lego brand stores. A bowling alley would certainly be directly in line with the theme that the Downtown Diner is going for; but, for annual variety, I'd imagine they'd try something else for the following year after the Diner that didn't fall into that vein.

    True, and that is the first time we've seen a Bright Red recolor of that particular hairpiece in a normal retail set, minus the prints that is. Back in 2012, the SDCC exclusive Phoenix figure donned one without prints, while the Poison Ivy figure in that same year's Batcave set wore one with green leaf prints.

    As I've speculated eariler, I somewhat feel that the modular line could be taking a turn towards more institutions that are centered around "fun" so to speak. I could very well be wrong, but I sort of could see us getting stuff like pizzerias, videogame arcades, Chinese take-out restaurants, comic book stores, skating rinks, and other geeky institutions, if you will.

    Hmmm, I guess I'm kinda hoping he is. Besides, being an original character, he'd have to be, right?

    Well, all the Dark Turquoise parts you'd obtain from it are certainly exciting, not to mention that new Trans-Pink canopy recolor with prints, and the White recolor of that one 6Γ—8 Nexo Knights slope part! Plus, its best design feature I think is that retro-styled Dark Turquoise crest crowning the craft, which sort of mirrors the crest of its pilot's helmet.

    Besides the reference that he wears a vest like Emmet, none of the footage descriptions I've read so far have described the appearance of this Rex character. If there were a true AFOL among the panel attendance there, they would've at least given us a rough description of his minifigure and other notable aspects that would've been of interest to us here. I would say panel attendees mistook Jenny Slate's Harley Quinn for Robbie's take on the character, but strangely enough, the IMDb page for the movie lists Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn on the cast list.     Preliminary concept art from Warner Brothers, perhaps? After all, think back to the brick-built Ares figure we got for the Wonder Woman set last year.

    I'd imagine that not only those two shows, but also the more mature, live-action Titans TV show may propel designers to cook up some comic-based sets inspired after those characters, as their increased media presence could make such sets more sellable than before perhaps.

    If the cinematic movie ends up not offering much in the way of set material, perhaps Lego may opt to instead give a comic-styled version (New 52 variant, perhaps) shoehorned into a typical comic-based playset for the winter wave.

    From many of the used sets I do have, all the Trans-Light Orange canopies that you can part out from them are great to use for "Classic Space Evolved" creations, especially since I don't have many (if any) Trans-Yellow canopies, so they can act as a fair substitute.
