  1. Compared to other DC properties that are being cinematically adapted into the farther future, I know it may have less of a chance of Lego tie-in products being attached to it, but I'm personally hoping that we'll see something done for that Steven Spielberg produced Blackhawk movie whenever it may roll around into theaters.
  2. Some set reviews from @just2good for those who may be interested:

  4. With the inevitable arrival of Series 19 come perhaps next year, what Collectable Minifigure archetypes do you think are strongly overdue to be seen? I'm not so much looking to discuss our CMF wishlists, but instead gain an idea of what we still have missing from previous series.
  5. Awesome! I knew I've seen it before! Looking at its creator's Brickshelf gallery, I see he's got a few other awe-strikers I've never seen before... Hotel Teupolis by Teup Teupolis Sanctuary by Teup Interestingly enough, he posted that the same day I shared his earlier rendition here.

Excellent suggestion! I really dig how you incorporated Flitwick's new megaphone piece, as a director archetype is exactly what I had thought of upon seeing his figure. Of course, this suggestion makes me think of Ready Player One's main character Wade Watts.
  7. I don't believe this really confirms anything as far as appearances go, but this promotional Turkish Airlines safety video is interesting nonetheless:
  8. The Brick Fan - LEGO BrickHeadz Toys R Us Geoffrey (40316) Revealed
  9. By the way, I believe I've wondered about this before in the past, but, does anyone think that the Frank Lloyd Wright/Prarire School style could be applied somehow to an official Modular Building set? I know that in real-life, it has been historically utilized for standalone buildings/houses for the most part; but, I do think that it'd be kinda cool to see it someday represented within the line.
  10. Being the basis for the last smaller-scaled action theme we've seen since then, I doubt Agents will be revisited sooner than other subject matters for such lines. But, having said that, when we do see Lego revisit that genre, I'd kinda like to see its next iteration evoke the original Alpha Team line, particularly with its somewhat 1980's, Cold War feel and Darth Vader-like villain with a nameless, homogenized army of soldiers (as opposed to individual, colorfully characterized henchmen). In a way, the aesthetic of such a reimagining could perhaps evoke the rigid look of toy lines from the eighties, such as G.I.Joe and M.A.S.K. for instance. Hmmm, I wonder what @Nabii would tell us about this, given that he said he's worked on the upcoming line.
  11. This forced perspective model of Emerald City done for a 2013 VirtuaLUG Wizard of Oz BrickWorld display was built by Adam Reed Tucker, the Chicago architect responsible for the LEGO Architecture theme: Gizmodo - Huge Lego Wizard Of Oz Build Includes A Motorised Tornado The incorporation of those globular windows on the first floor and those mute gold Bionicle accent parts have to be my favorite details on this build.
  12. Here are two recent LEGO Ideas projects that were submitted yesterday that may perhaps be of interest to readers of this topic: The Lighthouse's Cove by Bricky_Brick Gravity Falls Mystery Shack by @figura A most atmospheric diorama! My favorite touch has to be that mysterious back-lit upper window.
  13. Oh my gosh, congratulations!!! I mean, dang, did they say how they came across your project? How did they approach you with this invitation? Well, @LegoMonorailFan has a discussion topic here at the Embassy subforum just for that! Also, if wish to share any Train/Locomotive or Sci-Fi themed projects you've discovered over at a more particular discussion topic, there are these two respective threads:
  14. By the way, would you be open to suggestions for CMS creations to perhaps consider for the far future?
  15. By the way, @just2good has just done a CMF Draft video with @Ashnflash for a hypothetical second Wizarding World CMS:
  16. This is still absolutely one of the most glorious series of architectural creations my eyes have beholden so far, and it still continues to keep me awestruck with every new addition! If I had to choose my favorite installment in this latest lineup, it'd have to probably be the Sand Green and Black House of the Sword of Justice, particularly for its usage of those Black arch parts on its center upper-floor window.
  17. A most excellent interview @henrysunset, I'm glad I finally found the time to go back and read it after initially seeing it posted here earlier this week! I mean, dang, I really wish I knew then of this interview opportunity of yours, as I submitted a few other burning questions of mine to various other fan sites at the time precluding the Media Fan Days event, including over at @Jim's questionnaire topic linked below: In the first part regarding the Expert line overall, I thought the questions pertaining to choosing an architectural style and Jamie's favorite Lego element were the most interesting to me; while for the second part focusing on the Modular Building line specifically, the discussion regarding Dark Turquoise was most enlightening. For that matter, if the opportunity arises again next year, here are a few select questions I submitted to other sites for potential interviews with the Creator Expert team that perhaps you could consider for the future:
  18. Hey there @Scene, welcome to Eurobricks! I saw your Modular Starfighter project earlier over on LEGO Ideas and immediately shared it over on the below linked discussion topic. I seriously love its swooshable, retrofuturistic proportions and design, and even its monotone Light Grey color scheme pairs quite nicely with the Trans-Blue canopy. Best of luck to you on your journey towards ten thousand supporters! P.S. Are you on Flickr by the way?
  19. By the way, if Lego were to do an Art Nouveau modular in the near future, what sort of place of business do you think should it be? For that matter, do you think it should instead be a residential quarter? Personally, I was toying with the idea of having such a set be a bridal shop to pair with such an architectural style, perhaps giving us some exclusive minifigures of some gown-adorned mannequins that could be inspired after the work of painter and decorative artist Alphonse Mucha.
  20. I just discovered this one abandoned LDD design of @RoxYourBlox's that was never fleshed out in real bricks. Too bad, as it would've been incredible to see what is essentially a hyperbolic take on my favorite build of his, Tall Tower from 2013, only that it'd be, well, taller. I just love all the exterior bow work done on the first floor of this build!
  21. As the sixth project to join the Second 2018 Review Stage, I personally think this one has the best chance so far of being accepted. The Brick Fan - LEGO Ideas Rolls-Royce UltraFan – The Ultimate Jet Engine Achieves 10,000 Supporters
  22. By the way, does anyone recognize this older creation? I first discovered it via through Pinterest, which had then linked me to a Flickr link where the user who'd posted it had only credited it as not his. It seems awfully familiar to me, but I have only an approximation of its age to work with, so I'm not sure who may have built it and whether or not it had been featured on this topic before: Also, here are two other older creations I came across via Pinterest from MOCpages and Brickshelf respectively, which can be seen as a fusion of Town and Castle: Celij Hall by Subic Vedran Hammerfell by Aliencat
