  1. Perhaps this has been wished for before by others here, but I think that a ski lodge would be cool to see next.
  2. While I'm very interested to see what may possibly come from potential revisits to the Submarine and Space subthemes for next year, at the same time, I would like to see the City theme instead explore new horizons for their next exploration subtheme, perhaps either to the Serengeti for a safari subtheme or the Australian Outback.
  3. If we do indeed see a new Space subtheme for then (likely for the summer wave more than winter), I just hope it's not another earthbound Spaceport line once again, if you know what I mean. Also, like with the last Space subtheme four years earlier come next year, the return of the Submarine subtheme may be likely for then too.
  4. So far, as a whole, my favorite custom CMS of yours has to be the one done for Batman: The Animated Series, with all of your Disney CMS drafts coming in a second close favorites. Keep up the great work as always @Ashnflash!
  5. ...and possibly the Venom movie with Tom Hardy releasing this October.
  6. Eh, the violence/gore/horror seen in this teaser just looks embarrassingly absurd, as if they're trying really hard to try and provoke some sort of shocked reaction from non-DC fans and general audiences as so to generate publicity, whether it be good or bad.
  7. Peter Reid and Tim Goddard's book LEGO Space: Building the Future has a timeline of their own that starts out with Classic Space, moves on towards Ice Planet 2002, introduces Blacktron I with Space Police I following close behind, and finally wraps up with Futuron at the book's end. Personally, I'd kinda like to see the third iteration of Blacktron make its appearance under a fourth Space Police theme. As for the color schemes and exterior aesthetics of either one, I think Space Police IV would adopt a color scheme of Dark Azure/Dark Bluish Grey/Trans-Red with a streamlined, Art Deco Buck Rogers like design aesthetic, while Blacktron III would take on a Black and Trans-Bright Orange color scheme with a slinky, Tron Legacy like aesthetic. I (and @LegoMonorailFan for that matter) second this of course. I mean, seriously, it's still a no-brainer. I've said this before elsewhere, but given some of the directions the theme has gone in more recent years, I think such a line would make itself very well at home as a subtheme of City. Personally, I don't know why Lego couldn't take inspiration from something like Star Trek for their next Space theme, as it's premise and setting can sit in between the realism of NASA based source material and the high fantasy of Star Wars. Essentially, I could see such a theme being a mix of Classic Space and Adventurers, focused perhaps upon a single starship crew on their long term mission to explore new worlds and discover new extraterrestrial cultures.
  8. I have many disassembled components and instruction manuals from a number of Mars Mission sets, not to mention a good handful of astronaut figures from them too. As for what I currently think of the theme as a whole, I sort of liked it, but I guess I would've changed the White on the astronauts' spacecraft to some other sort of base color to complement the solid and transparent orange accents and canopies. The alien craft, on the other hand, didn't bug me at all honestly, as they did have a somewhat Blacktron-like semblance to a degree. As for which was my favorite set from the theme's entire run, it'd have to perhaps be either the MT-61 Crystal Reaper or the MT-201 Ultra Drill Walker.
  9. More like Power Miners, with rougher, tougher looking land vehicles for both mining and hauling. On the other hand, I think that the overall aesthetic of Mars Mission was a bit too sleek to be thought of as a mining theme upon first impressions, so I'm saying that I'd wish to see a space miners theme that combines the gruffer, heavier look of Power Miners with suggested amenities to support its characters on an oxygen-less planet.
  10. With Jake Gyllenhaal cast as Mystero in Spider-Man: Far From Home (releasing in July next year), I think it's quite likely we'll see the MCU variant first if we don't see a comic variant for the winter 2019 wave.
  11. Perhaps they'll rather give us a comic-styled variant for 2019 in either a typical playset or a Mighty Micros set.
  12. Additional alternate Spider-Men may be a possibility for some of the other comic-based sets we may see for this wave, as some have speculated elsewhere that this set is taking after both the Into the Spider-Verse and Venom movies from this year; so, perhaps those other presumed sets may also be taking after Into the Spider-Verse to some degree. Personally, I'm hoping we'll see a Noir SpiderMan some time here soon.
  13. Um, that new Trans-Red recolor of the windshield piece on Manta's sub makes the set!
  14. Just bringing it here:
  15. Speaking of recolors... Brickset - 76095 Black Manta Strike
  16. Damn, not only is that a really good looking sub, but it has a TRANS-RED RECOLOR of that old Speed Racer windshield!!! Space Police I fans rejoice! I also suppose others could repurpose the build as an Ogel submarine too.
  17. Here's a parts-centric review of the set from New Elementary for those who may be interested: New Elementary - LEGO® 10262 JAMES BOND ASTON MARTIN DB5
  18. I'd absolutely love to see a Noir SpiderMan figure, and it just may be a possibility for a future set given that the character is confirmed to be appearing in this Christmas' Into the Spider Verse movie, apparently to be voiced by Nicolas Cage of all people. IGN - NICOLAS CAGE VOICING SPIDER-MAN NOIR IN SPIDER-MAN: INTO THE SPIDER-VERSE
  19. While the Venom mech is kinda cool, the only part of this set that somewhat excites me is the newly redesigned Spidey figure, especially considering that we have the Bright Red/Bright Blue dual molded legs once again. Now if only they could give us a pair for a classic Superman figure...
  20. Well, given the source material that designers had to work with, I think they did a very good job, at least that is the very best they could give us. But honestly, I do find the end result to be rather bland-looking myself too, and I think it would've been better if they did away with the Bond branding and opted to instead give us a generic DB5 (minus all the gadgets, of course) in some other more exciting color besides Light Bluish Grey. That could've at least compensated for the build's rigid shape. New Elementary - LEGO® 10262 JAMES BOND ASTON MARTIN DB5
  21. Here's both a review of the set and an interview with designers Mike Psiaki and Aston Martin VP Marek Reichman from The Brothers Brick blog. Plus, an official designer video: The Brothers Brick - TOP SECRET: LEGO 10262 James Bond Aston Martin DB5 [Review] The Brothers Brick - Exclusive interviews with LEGO designer and Aston Martin VP at London LEGO Creator Expert 10262 James Bond DB5 set launch event [News]
  22. Hmm, I can't help but get a little bit of an Art Deco feel from the construction of that shrine structure in this creation, but that's me of course. On the other hand, this without a doubt is most definitely an Art Deco favorite of mine!
