  1. Upon seeing it for the first time officially, my initial thought was that it could work well as the base color for a female counterpart to the Series 17 Retro Spaceman in place of Sand Green.
  2. Huh, it sort of looks like that the bunker Apocalypsburg's citizens run into is the former Batcave?
  3. Beside Benny and Friends, here are few other Space-related sets from the upcoming sequel: 70828 — Pop-Up Party Bus | 1,013 pieces | $79.99 USD 70831 — Emmet’s Dream House/Rescue Rocket | 706 pieces | $69.99 USD 70835 — Rex’s Rexplorer | 1,172 pieces | $119.99 USD Also, check out the other spaceship seen at the 1:25 mark of its trailer:
  4. NINETEEN SETS?!!! That's just waaaay to much to take in... Well, crap, I really don't know where to start with this mindblowing overload of my mental hard drive. For as much of a delight the two Benny-centric playsets are (for reasons of Classic Space, of course), this wave's standout set has to be the Pop-Up Party Bus and all its Trans-Purple/Vibrant Coral goodies. Rex's Rexplorer is also pretty darn impressive, as I'm particularly digging its dual Trans-Light Blue X-Wing canopy recolors and those sick-looking raptors! Also, I can especially appreciate Emmet's Dream House/Rescue Rocket for its Creator-esque Two-in-One dynamic. If you ask me, I find her name to be suspiciously simplistic... I'm so very happy for @danth regarding the new ol' style helmet molds; but, as far as their spacecraft go, I am somewhat let down by their simplicity, as I was hoping for something larger in the hopes of obtaining some more Trans-Yellow canopy recolors as a result. I suppose the four plus set with Emmet did reintroduce the iconic six-wide windshield in that color, but still... The question is, will we eventually see a Bright Red Classic Spaceman by the name of Renny? And such big ones too...
  5. Ah, alright. I did find a tidbit of it over on Instagram (focused primarily on Rex Dangervest), but not the segment with the Giraffe Suit Guy, nevermind the full trailer. Can you at least describe him? Was he similar to @Robert8's design?
  6. Huh, the main build for that Underwater Robot set looks like Lego's Aquazone meets BioShock's Big Daddy. Having now seen it myself, I can't say that it looks as fantastical as that, but it's still a pretty impressive minifigure-scaled airplane build! Kinda dig its color scheme too! Here's to hoping that it's piloted by a sweet aviator minifigure with a new torso print!
  7. Here's Warner Brothers' premiere placeholder for tomorrow morning's trailer: Huh? You saw the trailer, early? How could you be aware of this?
  8. Here's the premier placeholder for it, which should be live by tomorrow morning: Well, here's at least Rex Dangervest's poster:
  9. Looks like there are placeholders for three $14.99 priced sets and two larger sets of similar box size.
  10. Hmmm, I'm having trouble finding the video. Could you at least describe the Racing Aircraft set like you had did for the Houseboat?
  11. They really should, as their price range would also make the sets more accommodating for other retailers.
  12. Point being, it could have been.
  13. EXACTLY! I mean, wouldn't a Classic Spaceship been right at home within such a line, given its Juniors-like color scheme and simplicity?
  14. Hmmm, well, the Racing Aircraft set could be interesting (Crimson Skies anyone?); or, it'll just be another rehash as somewhat expected from this theme nowadays...
  15. Personally, I'm all for consolidation of playthemes under larger umbrella themes, but doing what they have to the Juniors theme for next year is most irksome to be honest. Much like Creator, the Juniors theme had no specific ties to any genre or subject matter, therefore making it a completely open book. Come around next year though, it will be downgraded to a mere designation.
  16. I would just love to see the Architecture theme introduce a line of cityscape sets similar to this guy's work.
  17. Personally, as far as Christmas archetypes go, I would like to see either a Dickensian Caroler (similar to @Robert8's designs), or a "Christmas Sweater Guy", if you will.
  18. I wasn't expecting Rex Dangervest's ride to be a "roadster" (unless that's a mistranslation), as I figured he too would have some sort of spacecraft of his own, being a purported Star Lord/Owen Grady amalgamation and all. Also, Benny and Emmet share some sort of "workshop" together? Perhaps it's based in Apocalypsburg?
  19. Oops, shoot... ...sorry about that, fixed it now.
  20. Some leaked catalog placeholders posted over on Instagram further confirm that there will be five sets for next year's upcoming wave, covering the McLaren, Dodge, Mini, Ferrari, and Chevrolet automobile brands.
  21. Um, I'd remove that quickly if I were you...
